Shove Your Pronouns Where the Sun Doesn’t Shine
I know I’m supposed to care, I just don’t. I know it’s mean, I just don’t give a damn. I’ll even go so far as to say I like it. Being told to care, or more to the point “obey,” is not something I do. So I have a policy of avoiding people who insist people do things to make them feel better, who try to force people to care, and/or list their “pronouns” in their social media bios. I’m not interested in your delusions.
I’m speaking, of course, about the pronoun game the fascistic left has embraced in their latest attempt to control everyone. If you can control what people can talk about AND how things can be talked about you’ve won. There’s no two ways about it, having the power to prevent or compel speech removes control from the individual to whatever entity is dictating the terms: government, academia, media, entertainment industry, whatever.
Do not play the game.
You don’t have to be rude, but who really cares if you are? Honestly, these people are seeking to control you, if you make them cry so freaking what!
Pronouns are the dumbest weapon the left has come up with in the fight, but it’s also the most personal. They have only inspired laughs when a news story about some rapist or pervert exposing himself in a women’s bathroom somewhere is coupled with a mugshot of a dude that makes the late Jerry Garcia look well put together and they refer to him as a “woman.”
Couple that reality with the fact that only the most defective and perverse progressive leftists are down with the surgical butchering of the bodies of young children or the permanent altering of their development through irreversible hormones and you begin to see why they keep trying to open a new front in the arena of the culture war.
While they claim it is about compassion, it is about control. And let me be frank, were it actually about compassion I still would not care. I will not be pressured into participating in someone else’s delusions simply because not doing so risks giving them “the sads.”
I know, that’s heartless, but it’s really not. These people have mental problems and need help. They are either the product of a home where they weren’t loved enough or were coddled too much. Or they were abused. Whatever the case, they need help. Indulging them is not compassion.
Leftists will tell you the “trans community” has a higher rate of attempted suicide to try to manipulate people into complicity. That’s really just another example of why true compassion is not indulgence but mental help.
The simple fact is no one knows what it feels like to be another human being – what a taste or smell is like to someone else, or a feeling – let alone what another gender feels like. But they are desperate to feel special, whatever that means to them, and they see this as an easy path to that. It’s not, nor should it be. There are no shortcuts to being special, existence is not worthy of celebration, accomplishment is. And being is not accomplishing.
I saw a video recently of this weirdo leftist woman who insists she’s not a woman, that she’s somehow not a woman but something else. Again, I don’t care. But what she said in her video (because she posted it in a desperate attempt for attention and sympathy) gave up the game.
A bunch of her former co-workers wouldn’t play along with her delusion by using the pronouns “they/them” for her because she is an individual woman, not a third person group. She whined to HR and they told her to get over herself. That’s the exact proper thing to do, though it’s being outlawed in blue states.
This woman showed the left’s cards when she said HR told her “I could not police how people were speaking about me, that I could not tell them how to talk about me.”
That’s the whole game right there: how people talk ABOUT her when she’s not around. That’s when you use third person pronouns, not when talking directly with someone. “Hey Bill, how is he doing today?” is not a sentence a sane person ever says. Change “he” to “they” and it’s even dumber.
This woman, and everyone engaged in this delusion, wants to control how people refer to them when they’re not around. Then they reserve the right to be offended by it when they hear about it later. And being offended is the social credit score for the modern Democrat Party.
When I’ve said this in the past I’m always met with the suicide claim and asked if I don’t care about trans people. First, Democrats try to herd people into a world where they only care about people who look as close to them as possible, and I’m not “trans,” so I wouldn’t want to be accused of cultural appropriation or whatever.
That being said, I do not want people trying to commit suicide, which makes my position the most compassionate position on the issue. By not indulging these fragile people in need of professional mental help I am encouraging them to seek it. If someone’s existence is teetering on the edge to the point that using the actual pronoun appropriate for them or refusal to embrace a biological delusion could push them over the edge then they are a ticking time bomb. They are so unstable that something will, eventually (probably sooner rather than later), make them harm themselves. Insisting they get help from the start, rather than indulging in that delusion, will actually save more lives than postponing the inevitable will.
Of course, this assumes Democrats actually want what’s best for people and are not just using these fragile people to exert a measure of control over everyone else. So shove your pronouns where the sun doesn’t shine and get these kids some help. If adults want to ruin their lives or bodies, they can knock themselves out. But not the kids. No matter what, I’ll never play along.
