Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway of the political duo known as “Diamond and Silk,” has died at the age of 51.
The Diamond and Silk combo, a pair of sister entertainers, rose to
fame for their political commentary on their YouTube website. The duo
also had their own show “Diamond and Silk: Crystal Clear” on Newsmax.
Notably, the pair of sisters, formerly Democrats, are one of 45th
President Donald Trump’ most ardent fans since his 2016 presidential
campaign. The businessman turned politician emphasized how the duo are
Black American women backing a Caucasian Republican. They were extended
an invitation to his inauguration in 2017 and were later invited to meet
with him at the White House.
Trump took to Truth Social on Monday night to express that Hardaway’s
death is “really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans.”
Trump offered a heartfelt theory about Diamond’s death.
