That Makes Three – New York Rep John Katko, Who Voted to Impeach President Trump, Will Not Seek Reelection

Three down, seven to go.  New York Representative John Katko was one of the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump.  Today he announces he will not seek reelection.

“After 32 years of public service, I have decided not to seek re-election to Congress, so that I can enjoy my family and life in a fuller and more present way,” Katko, 59, said in a statement. (link)

John Katko joins Adam Kinzinger and Anthony Gonzalez as three of the DeceptiCons who will exit after detonating their political suicide vests.  The next co-host of The View will be joining them after Wyoming ditches her in the primary.

Tulsi Gabbard Calls out Government Negligence in COVID Early Treatment: 'They Either Don’t Care or Are Inept'

Jennifer Oliver O'Connell reporting for RedState

In Dementia Joe’s push for Big Pharma COVID vaccinations, the FDA granted emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID pill, Paxlovid. That was just before Christmas, yet the pill is still not widely available for use.

Former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard took to Twitter to call out this lack of action on the part of the government. In 2020, President Donald J. Trump used the Defense Production Act to increase production of PPE and other medical supplies needed to fight the pandemic. So why is Biden not doing the same concerning this early treatment?

WATCH:

But, muh boosters… which don’t even work on the latest variantOmicron, by the way.

That’s straight from the horse’s mouth—Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla. But he wants you to know his company is coming to the rescue with a new vaccine that may, or may not, target Omicron.

He discussed all of this with CNBC:

Bourla said the vaccine will also target the other variants that are circulating. He said it is still not clear whether or not an omicron vaccine is needed or how it would be used, but Pfizer will have some doses ready since some countries want it ready as soon as possible.

“The hope is that we will achieve something that will have way, way better protection particularly against infections, because the protection against the hospitalizations and the severe disease — it is reasonable right now, with the current vaccines as long as you are having let’s say the third dose,” Bourla said.

But Gabbard brought attention to Paxlovid to make a more pronounced point: The failure and doublespeak from officials, both “health” and elected, who are supposed to be solving the issue of this virus. Instead of being about saving lives, they are about pushing an agenda.

“Our leaders and bureaucrats continue to fail the American people,” Gabbard said.

No kidding.

Steve Kirsch, a retired tech entrepreneur, has been sounding the alarm on this for almost two years. Kirsch spoke at the January 2021 Reopen California Now conference near Sacramento, during the thick of the pandemic response and Governor Gavin Newsom’s draconian and ridiculous lockdowns.

At that conference, which RedState covered, Kirsch talked about early treatment and therapeutics. Something that no one in the federal government or the CDC/NIH was discussing. Dr. George Fareed was also at the conference and spoke extensively about his methods and how they were saving lives. Fareed practices in the Inland Empire, and he and his partner Dr. Brian Tyson were already successfully treating COVID patients. The key: early treatment, and certain therapeutics that the CDC and the NIH refused to acknowledge, or downplayed.

In his address to the conference, and in our interview, Dr. Fareed used a phrase that I will not soon forget: “The Circle of Empathy.” Dr. Fareed’s passion to save lives, his warmth, and sadness over the 375,000 deaths from the virus—many that could have potentially been saved—puts him squarely in the middle of that circle. Sadly, many of the health bureaucrats and government officials are nowhere near it, and therein lies our problem in combatting COVID-19.

Fareed and Tyson have since written a book about the success of their treatment methods: Overcoming the COVID Darkness. This is one ray of light in what has been gross darkness surrounding COVID-19 and the death and destruction caused by our bureaucratic and government response to it.

Here is my interview from last year with Dr. Fareed at the Reopen California Now conference:

WATCH:

Our government is still suppressing early treatment and therapeutics. Look at the battle Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is waging against the Biden administration over Monoclonal antibody treatment. Lots of government money and advocacy over vaccines and boosters, while ignoring early treatment and therapeutics. In other words, still allowing innocent people to die unnecessarily.

But hey, go out and get boosted!

Circle of empathy, indeed.

In 2021, Kirsch was very vocal about the government’s negligence in their failure to promote life-saving treatments and therapeutics. In a post that brought attention to Drs. Fareed and Tyson’s book, Kirsch called out the CDC and NIH for blatantly ignoring this information.

The entire pandemic response was unnecessary: COVID is very treatable if treated early

“This book shows that we’ve known about effective treatments since March 2020.

“Had the CDC publicized such treatments, it would have made the entire pandemic response completely unnecessary: lockdowns, vaccines, mandates, masking, business closures, etc. Everyone would have gotten natural immunity and the pandemic would have ended with virtually no deaths.

“Tyson and Freed tried contacting the FDA, CDC, and NIH, but nobody would talk to them or return their calls. The same is true today. They are just “too busy” to talk to them. Keeping patients out of the hospital and morgue is not a priority for them.

“The same is true of the mainstream media. The NY Times refused to run op-eds about early treatments and CNN said that they were too busy covering the vaccines and people dying from COVID that they didn’t have the resources to talk about early treatment protocol that would have prevented everything.

“Instead of promoting early treatment using repurposed drugs, the CDC instructed people to just stay home and do nothing until they were so sick that they had to go to the hospital. Even after drugs in the Tyson/Fareed protocol like ivermectin and fluvoxamine have been proven time and time again to work in clinical trials and, in the case of ivermectin, published in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, the NIH still fails to acknowledge them rating them NEUTRAL. This means that most doctors will not use them.”

At the end of her video, Gabbard was necessarily blunt in her words:

“The blood of those who are suffering and dying is on the hands of our leaders,” she said.

When will they be held accountable?

X22, On the Fringe, and more-Jan 14

Evening. Here's tonight's news:

Joe has always been an asshole

The vicious, divisive anger we saw on Tuesday wasn’t a new facet of Biden’s personality. It has always been at the very heart of it.

It will never stop being hilarious that people voted for that asshole Joe Biden because they thought he would usher in a return to civility and unity.

How stupid do you have to be to have believed that bastard’s “Restore the Soul of America” BS?

And now those voters who thought they elected an amiable, kindhearted grandpa are reacting in mystified disgust that Joe Biden went down to Georgia and spewed the most vitriolic, divisive, angry speech ever made by a sitting President.

Was half the country in a coma from 1973 until 2020?

Joe Biden has always been an asshole. This isn’t new, guys.

Joe’s nasty, vicious, mean-spirited rhetoric on Tuesday didn’t just spring up out of nowhere. And it isn’t because dementia is turning his brain into rice pudding.

Joe has always been a hot-headed asshole who deploys unbelievably over-the-top attacks on his political enemies.

Where the hell have you been?

Let me break it down for you. Joe Biden is and has always been a dick.

He’s an arrogant, self-important demagogue with a short fuse who doesn’t hesitate to slander and defame his political opponents in the most absurd, over-the-top ways imaginable.

Voters who fell for the genial grandpa routine are too stupid to ever vote again. In fact, the only people whose votes I want to suppress are those guys.

See, I watched clips from Biden’s absurd shouty speech on Tuesday and thought to myself, “Yup. That’s Joe.”

This morning, I read the transcript from Mitch McConnell’s floor speech on Wednesday where he excoriated Biden for his awful Georgia speech. And let me tell you, McConnell really hammers the bastard.

But one thing McConnell said had me shaking my head in dismay.

Right after Mitch described Joe’s speech as “profoundly unpresidential,” he added “I have known, liked and personally respected Joe Biden for many years. I did not recognize that man at that podium yesterday.”

Really, Mitch?

I recognized him instantly because that asshole at the podium is the same asshole Joe Biden has been since he arrived in Washington 49 years ago.

That man at the podium was the same man who tried to destroy Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings over 30 year ago.

That man at the podium is the same bastard who challenges people to wrestling matches and IQ tests whenever he’s questioned.

That man at the podium is the same dick who claimed Mitt Romney wanted to put black people back in chains and said black people who don’t vote for him “ain’t black.” He’s the bastard who thinks black people are too dumb to use the internet and are incapable of hiring a lawyer or an accountant.

He’s the same asshole who got into the face of an autoworker during the 2020 primaries, told him he was full of shit and offered to take him outside to beat him up.

He attacks the unvaccinated, targets parents protesting school boards, accuses anyone who opposes his massive, unconstitutional agenda of being segregationists and Confederates.

And that wasn’t even the first time Joe accused everyone who opposes his plan to federalize our elections of threatening the country with another Civil War. He said a lot of the same crap during a speech last July that he repeated on Tuesday.

How Mitch McConnell didn’t recognize that man at that podium is a mystery to me.

This is who Joe Biden has always been – an angry, short-tempered, congenitally dishonest, incompetent, demagogic asshole.

The vicious, divisive anger we saw on Tuesday wasn’t a new facet of Joe Biden’s personality. It has always been at the very heart of Joe Biden’s personality.

Some people were just so desperate to get rid of “mean” Trump they decided to overlook Biden’s fifty years of being a hateful dick to do it.

We Are All Domestic Terrorists Now

Whether it’s Paul Hodgkins or Mitch McConnell, Democrats like Joe Biden consider all detractors an enemy of the country.

Paul Hodgkins, according to Joe Biden’s Justice Department, is a domestic terrorist.

A working-class man from Tampa, Hodgkins committed what Democrats and the media consider a murderous crime comparable to flying a packed jetliner into a skyscraper or detonating a truck filled with explosives under a crowded federal building.

Paul Hodgkins entered the Capitol building on January 6, 2021.

What exactly did Hodgkins do on that day of infamy? He followed a group of like-minded Donald Trump supporters into the hallowed halls and chambers of the U.S. Senate. In that sacred space, where people far more important and educated than poor Hodgkins, according to those very important and very educated senators, make speeches and whatnot. Hodgkins, a crane operator, traveled alone by bus from central Florida to Washington—he was not chauffeured into the nation’s capital in a black SUV and detail team in the way that very important senators roll into town.

When he entered the sacred Senate chambers, Hodgkins carried with him a weapon so offensive that the mere sight of the device prompted the judge in his case to question Hodgkin’s loyalty to his own country. That weapon was a flag bearing the words “Trump 2020.”

Although Hodgkins did not commit a single violent act on January 6, federal prosecutors nonetheless consider him a domestic terrorist and want him punished accordingly.

“The need to deter others is especially strong in cases involving domestic terrorism, which the breach of the Capitol certainly was,” a prosecutor wrote in a July sentencing motion, asking a judge to send Hodgkins to prison for 18 months after he pleaded guilty to one count of obstruction. “Moreover, with respect to specific deterrence, courts have recognized that ‘terrorists[,] [even those] with no prior criminal behavior, are unique among criminals in the likelihood of recidivism, the difficulty of rehabilitation, and the need for incapacitation.’”

Judge Randolph Moss agreed with the Justice Department’s assessment. The Obama appointee claimed the four-hour disturbance at the Capitol on January 6 caused political and personal damage that “will persist in this country for decades.” Moss was outraged at the sight of Hodgkins hoisting a Trump flag. “The symbolism of that act is unmistakable. He was staking a claim on the Senate floor, declaring his loyalty to a single individual over a nation,” Moss ranted before sentencing Hodgkins to serve 15 months in jail.

Biden’s Justice Department just announced a new effort to keep the country safe from Hodgkins-type copy-cat criminals. During a Senate hearing on Tuesday, Matthew Olsen, head of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, confirmed the formation of a domestic terrorism unit within the very agency established in 2006 to coordinate government efforts to fight foreign threats during the first war on terror.

“This group of dedicated attorneys will focus on the domestic terrorism threat, helping ensure these cases are handled properly and effectively coordinated across the Department of Justice and across the country,” Olsen told the committee.

To justify his unauthorized decision—after all, the NSD itself was formed not by administrative decree but by the U.S. Congress under the USA Patriot Act—Olsen claimed the number of domestic terrorism cases under investigation by the FBI “has more than doubled” since March 2020.

Now, precisely what those cases involve is anyone’s guess. Neither Olsen nor Jill Sanborn, the FBI official who also testified Tuesday, would offer specific examples or data to support that claim. Olsen also admitted no “domestic terror” statute is on the books—but why let a little technicality like the law get in the way of the regime’s punitive prosecution of political wrongthink?

The truth, of course, is we are all domestic terrorists now. Whether one carries the wrong flag or posts the wrong meme on social media or supports the wrong approach to the pandemic, the Biden regime, a woefully unpopular yet increasingly zealous cabal, will use every tool of the state, lawful and unlawful, to retaliate. It is the proud legacy of Marxism, raging leader and all.

As I detail in my new bookJanuary 6: How Democrats Used the Capitol Protest to Launch a War on Terror Against the Political Right, the Biden regime wasted no time exploiting the brief chaos that resulted in the deaths not of government officials but of four Trump supporters to pursue the Democrats’ long-sought political goal of silencing and criminalizing dissent.

Everyone from Fox News hosts to parents protesting radical policies at tax-funded school districts meets the Left’s broad definition of “domestic terrorist.” Lawmakers opposed to nationalized election legislation intended to codify the illegitimate 2020 presidential election also fit the profile of “domestic terrorist.”

This even includes Biden’s political cronies in the Republican Party. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)—who insisted the 2020 election was on the square, called election skepticism the “Big Lie,” and accused Capitol protesters of committing an act of  “terrorism” on January 6—is on the Biden regime’s most wanted domestic terror list for thwarting the Democratic Party’s unconstitutional power grab of state election authority. “He compared . . . a bipartisan majority of senators to literal traitors,” McConnell said on Wednesday of his longtime former Senate colleague.

McConnell expressed great offense at Biden’s description of him as a “domestic enemy,” serving as an historical reminder that even the most obsequious and compliant toady won’t be spared the vengeful reach of the Biden regime’s rule.

There is no national security threat posed by voters and lawmakers on the Right. To the contrary, most Americans view leftist activists who attempted to burn down the country in 2020 at the behest and bank accounts of Democratic Party leaders as a far greater danger to the American way of life than a furry shaman or even alleged (unarmed) militia members. Ditto for potential terrorists from “special interest” countries poring into the country from Mexico, a threat neither Olsen nor Sanborn would address, since neither recently has traveled to the border.

But facts don’t matter, only the pursuit of power. Whether it’s Paul Hodgkins or Mitch McConnell, this bloodthirsty regime, out of favor with Americans and with time running out on its unilateral control of the federal government, considers all detractors an enemy of the country.

Some Votes Should Not Count

Democrats don’t want your solemn vote.
Democrats want your ballot harvested.

Here’s something professional politicos know well: the broader net a pollster casts, the better his poll results will be for the Left. “How out-of-touch is the Democratic Party?” Ask adults living in America and the poll comes in one way; ask only the American citizens registered to vote and it leans more towards the Right. Ask only those citizens registered to vote who are likely to vote and the poll leans rightward even more.

Democratic Party propagandists are therefore somewhat correct: so-called “voter suppression” usually benefits Republicans. When only the most committed vote, Republicans often win.

The Democrats’ propaganda is in their ceaseless historical allusions to Jim Crow. The fight against voter suppression during Jim Crow—a fight of Republicans against Democrats—was about letting Americans vote when they wanted to vote. For Democrats, the fight against so-called voter suppression today is the inverse. It’s about getting Americans to vote when they don’t want to vote.

What is a vote anyway? People make innumerable selections daily: are they all votes? People give answers to pollsters constantly: are they all votes? Are “American Idol” votes really “votes?”

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If a ballot falls into a ballot box but no voter is around to put it there, is it really a vote?

The quintessential tree fallen in the silent forest is the harvested ballot. In ballot harvesting, absentee ballots find their way into ballot boxes, but voters don’t put them there. A candidate does, through a surrogate, who gets paid perballot. Laws limiting ballot harvesting are what Democrats in Congress seek to overturn. Such laws are what they call “voter suppression” in Georgia—but not in blue New York.

New York also has laws limiting ballot harvesting through its restrictions on absentee voting, but Democrats don’t claim voter suppression there. Nor could they. Just last year, the state’s voters, overwhelmingly Democrats, rejected the Left’s insurrectionary push to allow all votes to be cast via absentee ballots. And, it’s a good thing they did. Unlimited harvesting of absentee ballots would have taken voting one step further from a solemn public duty and one step closer to an “American Idol” text-who-wins-style plebescite.

A vote is a solemn public duty of the American citizen to exercise his equal share of the one national sovereignty. National sovereignty was wrested from His Majesty King George III in 1776 by Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, and now you have it. You’re supposed to use it better than King George did. You use it by voting. To vote properly, you must inform yourself well, reflect wisely, and vote with a single purpose: to further America’s welfare. A vote is not an opinion poll. With a poll, the goal is to get responses. With a vote, the goal is to choose wisely.

Democrats don’t want you to choose wisely. Democrats want you to choose Democrats. Democrats don’t want your solemn vote. Democrats want your ballot harvested. And, because Democrats can’t make unlimited ballot harvesting legal even in blue New York, to do so for the rest of the country, they attack democracy. They seek to abolish the Senate’s 215 year-old supermajority threshold, which they used just last Congress 327 times to their own advantage. They seek to abolish it now so that they can overturn state laws voters support with laws even Democratic Party voters oppose. But, the insurrection doesn’t stop with one law. Next, the Democrats seek to overthrow the independent Supreme Court so that their insurrectionary laws won’t get struck down. After that, they seek to enjoy forever election wins upon an everlasting bumper crop of harvested ballots.

Republicans should be frank about a few things most adults in America understand: some people choose to step up and some people don’t. Those who choose not to step up usually have good reasons for standing back. When the gang at the lawn party is trying to put up the volleyball net, those who don’t know how to do it hang back. Rightly so. So do those who don’t care about playing volleyball at all. Nobody gains if the ones who don’t know or don’t care take the lead.

So it is with voting. If you don’t want to vote or you’re not sure whom to vote for, everybody is better off if you don’t vote at all. Everybody is worse off if, instead, you gin up an opinion when you don’t know what you’re doing and don’t care much about it anyway.

And so, a message to Democratic Party voters: when a Democratic Party ballot harvester knocks at your door, has you fill out a ballot, takes it from you, adds it to his mailman’s sack, and treks off to a drop box, do you really care what your vote is? If you would have opted to stay home watching “American Idol” reruns instead of going to a local polling place on election day, then the only vote of yours that should count is for your favorite soprano. If you want your vote to count for government, then go vote. In person.

No one is stopping you.

Kamala Harris Spins a Word Salad So Egregious That It'll Have 'Hillary 2024' Trending

Bonchie reporting for RedState

As RedState reported, Kamala Harris sat down for another interview, and this one went about as well as the last few she’s attempted. While talking to the “Today Show,” one of the friendliest environments she could find herself in, Harris lashed out at Republicans for protecting the filibuster (again ignoring that 52-48 is a majority) and told Americans to “do Google” in order to find COVID-19 tests.

There was another moment, though, which said so much about the vice president. After being asked at what point the administration might change course if their current strategies aren’t working, Harris proceeded to spin a word salad so egregious that it’ll have “Hillary 2024” trending.

Truly, this is epic stuff from a woman who is supposed to be one of the smartest people in the room. Really, listen to the full clip, because Ben’s quote is only a fraction of how bad it was.

Harris is the perpetual “the dog ate my homework” vice president. Has this woman ever prepped for an interview? Has she ever thought through how to respond to even mildly pressing questions about the glaring failures of her administration? It’s not like the administration’s faceplants surrounding COVID, inflation, the economy, foreign policy, etc. are new. You’d think Harris would at least have some talking points ready.

Yet, she’s so insulated and so used to being put through to the next grade despite failing that she continues to be completely unprepared, whether we are talking media interviews or doing her actual job, whatever that may be on a given day. That’s also why she’s a uniquely awful choice for Democrats come 2024. As I wrote yesterday, there are already Democrat rumblings about Hillary Clinton running again. Those rumblings don’t happen if Harris had shown herself to be even a halfway decent politician.

It’s still too early for many of them to publicly admit it, but Democrats recognize the trouble they are in. Their heir apparent to the current, senile White House resident is someone with the charisma of a sloth and whose penchant for awkward cackling actually makes Hillary seem normal. But worse than that, Harris has no record to stand on. She was a bad prosecutor who was inexplicably promoted to the Senate by voters in California. She then accomplished nothing of value there as well.

But it’s her time as vice president that will haunt Harris the most. As “border czar,” she’s presided over the precipitous collapse of the nation’s Southern Border. After being put in charge of “voting rights,” she’s failed to deliver anything there as well (thankfully). The tragic downfall of Afghanistan also happened while Harris claimed to be the “last” person in the room on the decision to haphazardly withdraw, leading to the deaths of 13 Americans.

Yet, Harris is going to run on a platform of competence and ability come 2024? Things have gotten so bad that a recent article in the New York Times actually suggested a Joe Biden-Liz Cheney ticket. Democrats are looking for an off-ramp, but because Biden so explicitly admitted to choosing Harris due to her race and sex, how exactly is that going to work?

I continue to maintain that Democrats just stuck with Harris. They bought the ticket, and now they get to take the ride. She will be the odds on favorite in 2024, and if she’s thrown under the bus, there will be hell to pay from a base that adores her. Get ready for another phase in the left’s civil war.

Biden Tells Such a Whopper, Even the WaPo Showers Him With Pinocchios

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

Joe Biden lies. A lot.

One of his more common types of lies is what I would call the “pandering lie” — a lie to convince whatever audience he’s talking to that he’s just like them.

We’ve seen that from him often. When he meets with people connected to trucking, he lies about being a truck driver and driving an 18-wheeler. When he meets with people over fires, he lies about his house burning down with his wife in it (but she got out and his house didn’t burn down).

However, he told a huge whopper when he was in Atlanta the other day, pushing ‘voting rights.’ Now, to be fair, his whole speech was one big lie in claiming that Republicans were trying to deny people the right to vote and comparing them to people like George Wallace, Bull Connor, and Jefferson Davis, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) later said.

What was incredibly ironic about that is that it was Biden who bragged about Wallace praising him and Biden who also voted to restore American citizenship to Jefferson Davis. So Biden, in bringing up this poor attack, just raised the flag of all the racist things that he has said and done in his past.

But he put another offensive lie on top of all that. When he was talking about civil rights, he tried to suggest that he’d been arrested on behalf of the movement.

From Daily Wire:

“I did not live the struggles of Douglass, Tubman, King, Lewis, Goodman, Chaney, Schwerner, countless others known and unknown. I did not walk in the shoes of generation of students who walked these grounds. But I walked other grounds, because I’m so damn old I was there as well. They think I’m kidding, man. It seems like yesterday, the first time I got arrested— anyway,” he said to laughter. “But their struggles, here, they’re the ones that opened my eyes as a high school student in the late 50’s and early 60’s. They got me more engaged in the work of my life.”

Even the Washington Post, which is generally in Biden’s corner, couldn’t forgive that one. They gave him four Pinocchios, the worst rating. They note that even Biden himself didn’t say anything in his book about being arrested during the Civil Rights movement. The Daily Wire piece continued:

“It’s possible that police might have taken the young Biden home from a dangerous situation — as he said twice — but that’s not an arrest,” the Post said. “Moreover, one would think such a memorable incident would have made it into one of Biden’s memoirs. Instead, it’s not mentioned in the book that specifically references the conversation with his mother about joining the ticket. Ordinarily, one would think such a memorable moment in a young man’s life would have merited an earlier recounting.”

“The primary source for this story is Biden — and we’ve learned over the years that he is not always a reliable source. He appears to be citing his mother to enhance his civil rights credentials — which we have noted he has exaggerated before — but too many elements do not add up to give this ‘arrest’ more credibility than his previous claims of getting in trouble with the law,” the paper said.

Now that’s something when even the WaPo has to admit that Joe Biden himself is not a reliable source and has a history of having “exaggerated” before on civil rights. As we previously reported, he has lied about being arrested in South Africa trying to meet with Nelson Mandela. His campaign later said that had never happened and just that he had been separated from his black colleagues at an airport. Oh. Practically the same thing.

Biden himself has clarified that he wasn’t out marching anywhere.

Hardly the “work of his life,” as he now tries to suggest.

But it shows just how shameless he is, when he can tell such a lie.

Biden Wants A Federal Takeover Of Elections Because 2022 Looks Bad For His Party

Democrats have readily admitted that they can’t, as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, ‘rely solely on a wish of winning elections.’

In a speech this week, President Joe Biden compared anyone who disagrees with a national takeover of elections to Confederate leader Jefferson Davis and suggested dissent is tantamount to racism. (Presumably that goes for lawmakers in his own party, like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, who oppose the plan). The president, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, falsely claimed Republicans are trying to make it more difficult to vote.

Why such hyperbole? Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and other Democrat leaders are scared to lose congressional seats in the 2022 midterms, so they want to initiate a radical federal takeover of our nation’s elections.

Biden and Harris’s poll numbers, even those recorded by leftist pollsters, are atrocious. After Congress’s failure to pass legislation to boost the administration’s reputation, Democrats’ numbers are also waning, leaving already worried leaders even more concerned that they could lose power in at least the House.

Democrats want a radical, unconstitutional takeover of elections because they are afraid they are going to lose big in midterms. Ever since they underperformed in 2020, Democrats have readily admitted that they can’t, as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez said, “rely solely on a wish of winning elections.”

“If we deliver, we maintain power in 2022,” Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman said during Democrats’ 2021 push to pass H.R.1, a radical bill designed to eliminate the opportunity for states to protect themselves against modifications that were weaponized in the 2020 election.

As a result, Biden and his administration are ignoring Democrats’ hypocrisy on the filibuster and urging for its abolition so they can manipulate elections and control the results of upcoming midterms, where dozens of Democrats are vulnerable.

It’s a strategy that worked well for Democrats in 2020, which was riddled with problems created by Democrat operatives such as Marc Elias. He coordinated a leftist-funded effort to change hundreds of election laws in the months leading up to the election. As a result, tens of millions of questionable mail-in ballots swamped the election system and millions more Americans lost trust and confidence in the United States to host “free and fair elections,” which some ignorant Republicans still proclaim is ensured.

This power grab blueprint, however, is not lost on the GOP. As Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell noted in a statement on Wednesday, “Democrats are trying to use their fake hysteria to justify breaking Senate rules so they can seize control of elections in all 50 states.”

Other Republicans such as Sen. Marco Rubio took it one step further and noted that, contrary to the White House and corporate media’s propaganda about voting rights, “Democrats’ Voting Rules Takeover Is A Threat To Democracy.”

Democrats have loudly whined about losing elections in the past. They threw tantrums when the presidential results didn’t match what they had hoped, planned, and covered for.

In 2020, Democrats called Sen. Josh Hawley’s election concerns a “coup attempt” after they objected to every GOP presidential certification this century. In 2016, multiple House Democrats attempted to object to the electoral votes from several states naming Donald Trump as the presidential victor.

These representatives cited concerns over the now-disproved Russia hoax and potentially “hacked” voting machines but were ultimately overruled by then-Vice President Biden, who repeated that objections were required to be in writing and signed by someone from each chamber of Congress. Just two years later, in 2018, Stacey Abrams refused to concede in the race for Georgia governorship.

Democrats aren’t keen on losing elections, and they will do everything in their power to ensure that they don’t lose miserably in 2022. To them, the ends justify the means, even if the means call for the most abject and blatant hypocrisy on the filibuster.
