French oil refinery strikes cause petrol stations to run dry

Strike action over pay and conditions has put 60% of oil refineries in France out of action. Petrol stations are running out of supplies, especially in the north of the country. The French government has been forced to tap fuel reserves, but ministers insist that people should not panic.
