Ukraine tells IAEA that fire at site of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has not affected essential' equipment, plant personnel taking mitigatory actions," the agency posted on Twitter. The agency also says it has put its Incident and Emergency Center in 24/7 response mode.

The power plant has been taken by the Russians and is now in their control. In normal times the plant produces one-fifth of Ukraine's electricity and almost half the energy generated by the country's nuclear power facilities.
