Justin Trudeau Calls 45-Mile-Long Truckers Convoy Small and Fringe, and He Is Dead Wrong
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is not really known for many things.
In the past couple of years, his greatest notoriety came from having dressed up in black face when he was a much younger waif who probably never thought anything like that would come back and bite him in his political arse. He survived that debacle during his last reelection in 2021, although a bit more embarrassed than damaged politically.
That was then and this is now, and he might have just stepped in a big pile of poo of his own making.
I have been covering the MASSIVE Canadian truckers convoy that is winding its way through Canada to its capital of Ottawa for the past couple of days here. Here is a brief recap of what is going on with our neighbors to the north. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Has a Massive Protest Brewing Over His Jab Mandate…
Truckers are the lifeblood of not only Canada but also of the United States. They are making a statement that if they were ok to deliver all the goods we needed during the spring of 2020 and all of 2021 with no poke mandate to cross the border, there is no proof that says it is unsafe to do so now.
Politicians in any country are always prone to accumulating power, generally in small incremental steps. During the past two years, though, as we have seen here in the United States, some elected officials have really overstepped their authority. Trudeau in Canada has done the very same thing with this international crossing jab mandate and his citizens who do the grunt work have had enough of the finger-wagging from Ottawa.
Unlike most groups that have opposed government overreach, the truckers of Canada are in a unique position to have a massive impact. If those rigs that are usually crossing the Canada-U.S. border all of a sudden are sidelined sitting in Ottawa or just staying home, Canada AND the United States have a BIG problem. Grocery store shelves and many others will start to go sparse or bare.
Trucks — and the men and women who drive them — are the lifeblood of Canada and of my country. These hardworking blue-collar folks are just sick and tired of being knocked around and nitpicked as experimental dummies for some eggheads like Justin Trudeau.
I grew up around truckers and I know that they are just down-to-earth folks who do a necessary job with damn near zero fanfare. We have taken for granted that these people will always be in the background doing the job most of us do NOT recognize or appreciate.
The truckers are heading to Ottawa to peacefully protest the vaccine mandates put in by Justin “Al Jolson” Trudeau and the Prime Minister decided to say this on Wednesday about his fellow citizens.
The small fringe minority of people who are on thier way to Ottawa and who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedom our rights and our values as a country.
I wonder if that could have sounded any more condescending in French?
Well, one thing is certain: That is not a way to ingratiate yourself with the hundreds of thousands of people who are coming to make their voices heard. If President Joe Biden had said that, we all could just say he had a brain fart, being he does the brain farting 20 or 30 times a day, but Trudeau really slipped here.
He knows how many people are heading his way. He knows this is not a small fringe minority of people. He has been briefed on the rallies and thousands of people standing on the side of the road in the DEAD of winter in Canada cheering these trucks on. Thousands of Canadian patriots have offered food and water to help the truckers as they drive to the capital city. This is not a fringe minority, Prime Minister. These are your citizens demanding that you listen to common sense and not pseudo-science taking on the form of repressive mandates.
If you recall, it was not all that long ago that Prime Minister Castro Trudeau was praising these very same men and women about how they were some of the best that Canada had to offer. Working day and night to provide food and essential items to Canadian homes across that big beautiful country.
Crossing the Canada, U.S. border with or without a vaccine was not imperative back in 2021 and nothing has changed.
Except for the need of government bureaucrats to clamp down a little harder on the taxpayers to try and show them who is boss.
Mr. Prime Minister, you have up to — and maybe over — 50,000 truckers coming with thousands more in cars, trucks, and snowmobiles, with hundreds of thousands of others behind them. You’d better recheck that flow chart of who is truly in charge of your country.
If you don’t, you might want to get a drone up in the air on Saturday to give a clearer picture. Your citizens are coming and their voices will be heard in both French, English, and many others. Pay heed or you might need to get that black shoe polish out to go out in public again
