Attacking the Powerless to Protect the Powerful
I think by now we’ve all been disabused of the notion that the role of the free press is to keep the powerful in check and to protect the powerless. One thing we learned during the Obama years is that the American corporate news media will protect the powerful at the expense of the powerless.

Last week, some random guy said “Let’s Go Brandon” to President Joe Biden during a Christmas phone call covered live. And because Joe Biden’s brain is scrambled eggs and he has no idea what’s going on out here in the real world, the President repeated the phrase.
For committing the crime of humiliating the President, this powerless citizen is now the target of a full-scale attack by the American media.
Understand, they’re not targeting him because he committed a crime. They’re not even targeting him for saying “Let’s Go Brandon.” No, that’s not what got the media so upset. They’re upset because Biden repeated the phrase.
It’s the humiliation the media can’t bear. They know Joe Biden repeating “Let’s Go Brandon” made him look like the senile, clueless old man that he is.
Democrats and their handmaids in the media have worked very hard to pretend there’s nothing wrong with Joe Biden. Then in a matter of seconds, this random guy on the phone yanked back the curtain and revealed the truth.
So the man who holds the most powerful office on the planet must be protected like a baby bird even if that means tearing apart the life of a powerless citizen.
And that’s exactly what the corporate news media did.
Within no time, the media discovered the man’s true identity and blasted it out to the public. He’s now being harassed by reporters and subjected to anonymous death threats.
Great job, guys!
Keep in mind, these are the same media outlets that allowed Ilhan Omar to go on TV and claim Lauren Boebert’s stupid joke resulted in Omar getting death threats.
Omar had no proof the two were connected. But the media repeated her claims anyway.
But for the fact that the media decided to target this man, he wouldn’t be getting death threats now. They are directly responsible for the river of shit that engulfed him. And they don’t give a damn.
This powerless random American citizen humiliated the most powerful man in the world, so the media will stop at nothing to destroy him.
Just like they destroyed the rodeo clown who mocked Obama.
Just like they tried to destroy the guy who made that Trump/CNN wrestling video back in 2017.
They are the enemy of the people. That is no longer up for debate.
Destroying powerless citizens to protect the most powerful man on Earth is not something a Free Press would do. It’s something the Praetorian Guard would do.
It’s what they do in North Korea and China for crap’s sake.

Thoughts on the utterly ridiculous Let’s Go Brandon Christmas “scandal.”
A few years ago, I did a satirical fake interview “with” AOC. It was funny & obviously not real. The next day, Buzzfeed, WaPo, & other outlets ran articles accusing me of purposely trying to trick people.
It was hilarious, bc their outrage was fake. They knew it was a joke. They just don’t like jokes at the expense of their Dear Leaders.
Highlighting the absurdity, stupidity or incompetence of their side using irony is effective & is therefore off limits. (Why they hate BabBee)
Of course, journalists are happy with it when it comes to Republicans. You can mock, slander, & threaten The People With Bad Politics all day, & they’ll bark & clap in approval. But The People With Good Politics are beyond reproach.
So now the media are pretending to be actually offended by a dad’s “Let’s Go Brandon” prank call, as if many of them haven’t regularly wished literal death & destitution upon their political enemies.
They aren’t doxing him because they’re offended by the euphemism.
They’re doing it for the same reason that one random dude was doxed for donating like $10 to Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense fund.
It’s because this is what authoritarians do & have always done. They can’t stand dissent, especially the funny kind.
They pretend their offense is based on some moral qualm with disrespecting the office of the president. Or bc it was “too divisive.” Or bc it contradicted the spirit of Christmas. I don’t think I need to explain why that’s so ridiculous. If you lived the last few years, you know.
So, the reason they’re doing this is not because they’re hypocrites. They are actually very consistent in their principle, which is, “Anything goes to take down our enemies, but our guys are off limits.” They’re tyrants. It’s what they do. Merry Christmas!
Okay, I do have one more thing to add.
