Just how sycophantic is Kamala Harris’ staff?

Yesterday while flying to Guatemala for her first foreign trip, Vice President Kamala Harris came back to the press area and handed out cookies bearing her own likeness.

Where’s her face? Does the baker believe that putting her face on the cookies might steal her soul?

Well, he has nothing to worry about on that score. Kamala doesn’t have a soul.

This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when you put a politician with zero political savvy into the hands of sycophantic staff.

A politician with even an ounce of self-reflection would have told her sycophantic staff “Listen guys. These are cute cookies and everything. But if I go back there and hand them out, it’s going to make me look like the biggest egomaniac on the planet.”

But Kamala lacks that level of self-reflection. Couple that with the fact that she has the political instincts of a sea sponge, and you can see why employing ass-kissing sycophants is a supremely bad idea.

Someone this bad at politics needs to surround herself with people who can keep her worst instincts in check. Sadly for Kamala, she has no such people.

Instead she is surrounded by sycophants who worship her with near-slobbering devotion. And they aren’t doing her any favors.

Kamala Harris is not well liked, nor is she remotely popular.

Most people think she’s arrogant and self-important.

And her sycophantic staff sending her back to pass out Kamala cookies won’t to change that public perception of her one bit.

When your public image is already veering toward “Bigger Narcissist than Obama” you need to be surrounded by staff that will curb your worst instincts, not encourage them.

And Kamala’s sycophantic staff are encouraging every bad instinct this woman possesses.

They’re the idiots who think it’s a good idea to turn this vapid fool into an Instagram model by including pictures of Kamala on every tweet that has nothing to do with Kamala.

And they’re the idiots who actually think to themselves, “Won’t it be AH-MAZING to have Kamala pass out these cookies herself?”

Thanks to her sycophantic staff, Kamala Harris is developing a reputation as a self-important, arrogant narcissist who loves nothing and nobody as much as she loves herself.

Now to be fair, Kamala is a self-important, arrogant narcissist who loves nothing and nobody as much as she loves herself.

But if she had serious staff instead of these sycophants currently spending their days fluffing her already bulging ego, none of us would know it.

Come to think of it, though her sycophantic staff aren’t doing her any favors, we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude for exposing this self-satisfied glory hound.

We should send them some cookies by way of a thank you.
