Vice President Instagram Model

Vapid, self-centered and unseemly. Just like every Instagram Model.

To commemorate Memorial Day weekend, Vice President Instagram Model tweeted out a picture ….

… of herself.

I know. Shocker, right?

I mean it isn’t as if she has a history of tweeting pictures of herself.

Wait. Yes, she does.

Vice President Instagram Model likes to include pictures of herself looking wistfully off into the distance when she tweets about things that have nothing to do with her – like when she tweeted “Get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do.”

Someone in Kamala’s social media engagement team must believe her right side is Vice President Instagram Model’s best side. Because she’s photographed from the right all the time.

Vice President Instagram Model Brighter Days are ahead

From the right, staring wistfully off into the distance.

Once you notice the pattern, you can’t unsee it.

So when I saw her “Long Weekend” tweet, it was the picture, not the lack of appropriate messaging that jumped out at me.

Vice President Instagram Model

Aaaaand there it is – staring wistfully off into the distance while keeping her right side to the camera.

Like friggin’ clockwork.

Now, on the one hand, I get why most people were peeved that this Memorial Day Weekend tweet makes no mention of A) Memorial Day or B) those who lost their lives in service to the country.

But it’s the “Look! I’m an Instagram Model!” vibe that really annoyed me.

Seriously, find someone who loves you as much as Vice President Instagram Model loves herself.

Or, perhaps I should say find someone who loves you as much as her director of social media engagement loves Vice President Instagram Model.

I get it. I do.

Kamala’s team is trying to make her look like a celebrity influencer to make up for the fact that she’s a vapid, self-centered climber with the personality of a soap dish and the political instincts of a kumquat.

On a related note, Kam’s boss didn’t do much better.

This was his tweet for Memorial Day weekend.

Ice Cream Joe

Still on that Ice Cream Deflection I see.

You know, I thought it was bad in 2015 when the Democrats’ official Twitter account tweeted out a picture of Obama getting ice cream while the sycophantic press looked on lovingly.

Democrats Memorial Day Tweet 2015

But that came from the Democrats’ account, not the President’s. Even Barack Obama wasn’t so much of a narcissist to tweet it himself.

At least the Democrats remembered to mention Memorial Day. Neither Joe nor his Instagram Model VP could even do that much.

Now, to be fair, like Vice President Instagram Model, Joe doesn’t manage his Twitter account. He has his own social media engagement team that does it for him – mostly because Joe probably wouldn’t have the first idea how to get on Twitter let alone upload a picture of himself.

For all the complaints about Trump being a narcissist, when Memorial Day or Veteran’s Day or Armed Forces Day rolled around, President Trump always put the focus where it belongs.

But for the Biden White House social media engagement team, the focus is always on the broken down old crock and his Instagram Model VP because they don’t want Biden and Harris seen as the leaders of the free world; they want them seen as celebrity influencers.

It’s vapid, self-centered and unseemly.

Rush Limbaugh always said Washington DC is Hollywood for ugly people.

Joe and Kamala’s social media engagement pretty much proves his point.

Update:

Uh-oh. Looks like the backlash got noticed by Kamala’s social media team.

And given the absence of a “looking off in the distance” Instagram Model picture, I’m guessing they realized it wasn’t just the vapid Memorial-Day-free tweet that was the problem.

Not surprised they tweeted this. Team Kamala perfected the art of the quiet walk-back during her brief, embarrassing run for President.
