Nancy Pelosi Thanks George Floyd for Being Murdered in Weird, Narcissistic Rant

This afternoon, the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial was released. Chauvin was found guilty of all three counts, including two counts of murder, in the death of George Floyd last summer.

I personally don’t understand how 2nd-degree and 3rd-degree murder applied here. I think the case for manslaughter was stronger, and a guilty verdict on that front is defensible. I’m sure there will be plenty of discussion on that in the near future, including the coming appeal.

Regardless, as per our usual arrangement, Democrat politicians have to try to make political hay of an issue being the narcissistic figures that they are. One of those politicians is Nancy Pelosi.

To reiterate the context of the clip I’m about to show you, the jury found that George Floyd was murdered. Therefore Nancy Pelosi, in all her glory, literally went out today and thanked Floyd for being murdered in order to advance her political narratives about social justice.

You expect politicians to be like this, but sometimes the things they say still jar you. This is one of those times. Floyd did not choose to sacrifice his life, as Pelosi says. In fact, I’m pretty certain, if he were given the choice, he’d choose to still be alive right now. These tortured attempts to turn him into a quasi-religious martyr, choosing death for the greater good of social justice, are not just cringy, but they are pretty gross on a human level.

In the end, Chauvin is an individual who made a series of choices that day in May of last year. Floyd is also an individual who made a series of choices leading up to the altercation. Whether you believe Chauvin was truly guilty or not, there is no logic in extrapolating this single incident into an indictment of all police or the country at large. Police do not enjoy a collective consciousness, nor do American citizens. Democrats are desperate to make it seem that way, though, because they see broad brushing as a way to advance a narrative that helps keep them in power. They are using Floyd as a prop, and it should make everyone uncomfortable.
