Paging Andrea Stewart-Cousins: Please pick up blue harassment phone
As I mentioned on Friday, New York’s State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins went on record saying that she would only call for Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign if a fourth accuser came forward.
Whelp.
Now there are five.
Your move Andrea.
I just went to Twitter to see if Andrea Stewart-Cousins had anything to say about this fourth (and fifth) sexual harassment accusation.
And guess what?
Andrea Stewart-Cousins hasn’t tweeted a thing.
On the outside chance Andrea didn’t see the news that her “Fourth Accuser” bar has been met, I gave her a heads up.
Then I went over to the New York Post to see if perhaps they were able to squeeze a statement out of the useless Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
Aaaaand.
Nope.
A message to Stewart-Cousins was not immediately returned.
Now, according to the Post, Andrea Stewart-Cousins isn’t the only powerful New York Democrat in Albany to keep mum.
Her counterpart in the Assembly, Speaker Carl Heastie is also obeying the code of Omertà and refusing to speak out about Fredo Cuomeone’s serial piggishness.
I confess I didn’t expect Stewart-Cousins to jump into action the minute her “fourth accuser” threshold was met.
As I said the other day, she’s a coward.
Do you think someone as craven and stupid as Andrea would ever hope to obtain this lofty position within Albany without kissing the ass of the Slimefather? Not on the likely. Her “If there’s a fourth accuser” bar was just Andrea Stewart-Cousins buying time – holding out hope that she won’t be forced to actually act like the Leader she’s supposed to be.
The only way she’ll turn against Cuomo is if some Democrat more powerful than he puts the fear of the System in her.
Which just might happen since the System wants Andrew gone.
