NY Democrat: Cuomo gets three free passes
NY Democrat and State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said she won’t demand Andrew Cuomo resign unless a fourth accuser comes forward. So apparently, politicians in New York get three free passes before having to face any consequences for sexual harassment.
But don’t worry, folks. If Cuomo harasses a fourth woman, look out, boys! Andrea will put her foot down!
Who knew “zero tolerance” means “You get three free passes before we call for your resignation.”
Jeeze Louise. Even in baseball you’re out after three strikes.
This is good news for any New York politicians who get a bit handsy with the staff. Harassment is fine so long as you limit it your piggish behavior to three women.
But if you get to four, honey, we’re going to issue a strongly-worded statement demanding you resign!
I wish I was kidding.
But I’m not.

State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said Thursday that another woman would have to come forward with allegations of sexual harassment by Gov. Andrew Cuomo before she would call for him to resign.
One woman accuses Cuomo. Meh.
Then a second comes forward. Meh.
Then a third steps up – this time with photographic evidence. Meh
But one more?
Whoa! That’s a bridge too far for Andrea Stewart-Cousins!!
It’s bad enough Stewart-Cousins is giving Cuomo three free passes.
But knowing that the only thing that will happen to him if her “fourth accuser” bar is met is Andrea will “call for him to resign” is outrageous.
In a separate interview with NY1, Stewart-Cousins called Charlotte Bennett’s accusations “heartbreaking.”
“It’s heartbreaking in a number of ways.”
But since the “number of ways” currently stands at three, it’s just not heartbreaking enough for Andrea.
“The fact that we are here at this time in 2021 really having this conversation.”
But despite marveling that we’re having this conversation in 2021, Andrea Stewart-Cousins is willing to give Cuomo a pass because, meh, it’s only three women.
“I didn’t get a chance to see the entire interview,” she said of Bennett’s 60 Minutes appearance. “But it’s clear that you know she’s traumatized in a profound way.”
It’s just Bennett’s dumb luck that she is only one of three women “traumatized in a profound way.”
If only she’d been number four, Andrea Stewart-Cousins would get off her sorry ass and do something!!
Well, not a lot of “something.” But at least she’d demand Cuomo resign.
Way to be courageous and take a stand, Andrea!
I guess when New York State passed the strictest sexual harassment law in the country, they hid the “three free passes” exemption from the public. Though, I’m guessing the three free passes exemption only applies to Governor Lech the Grandma Killer.
Let me bottom-line it for you.
Andrea Stewart-Cousins – the friggin’ State Senate Majority Leader — is a spineless coward.
Like virtually every New York Democrat, she is too afraid to stand up to Cuomo. So afraid, in fact, that she’s willing to toss these women under the bus while giving the dirtbag three free passes.
And you want to know why?
Because any Democrat in New York who wants to retain power must kiss Andrew’s wrinkly ass. And Andrea Stewart-Cousins cares more for her own sinecure than she does the women victimized by this asshole.
She cares more for her pride of place in the NY State Senate than she does the thousands of senior citizens sent to their death by Cuomo’s reckless order.
These people disgust me to no end.
