Biden’s 100 Day Mask Mandate has already expanded

Remember back in December when Joe Biden announced that on Inauguration day he would be implementing a 100 Day Mask Mandate?

It’s a good thing I don’t mind saying “I told you so.”

Because I told you so.

In my December 4th column “Only 100 Days, honest Injun,” I told you this 100 Day Mask Mandate would not be 100 days.

Now, Joe admits he can’t officially mandate every American behind a mask. He needs state and local officials to mandate it and enforce it on his behalf.

But hey. It isn’t forever. Just a hundred days.

When Biden made this statement he concluded that because of his not-a-mandate Mask Mandate “I think we’ll see a significant reduction.”

Who determines what constitutes a “significant reduction?” And what happens if, after the 100 days, we do not arrive at that magic number?

Do you think Biden will toss up his hands and say, “Oh, well. Masks didn’t help! Let’s try something else.”

Of course he won’t.

The hundred days will turn into 200 days. Then a year. Then two years.

The only thing I got wrong was how long it would take for the 100 Day Mask Mandate to extend beyond the 100 days.

Here we are only 22 days since the implementation of the 100 Day Mask Mandate and Biden has already moved the goalpost.

Ah, I see. Without any fanfare, old breathless, mumbling Joe just extended the 100 Day Mask Mandate to “through the next year.”

If you’ve done the math, you know that “through the next year” is not 100 days.

We still have 322 days remaining in 2021.

So even if Joe expects us to be in a mask only until the start of next year, that’s 222 days beyond the 100 days.

But notice the phrasing. “Through the next year.” Does Joe expect us to be masked up all of 2021 and 2022?

Of course he does. They have a Midterm to win.

And if his 100 Day Mask Mandate ends in 100 days, they can’t use COVID as an excuse to rely on mail-in ballots.

We’re being lied to and manipulated.

It was never going to be 100 days.

And the only people who actually believed this decrepit old liar have their heads wedged so for up their own ass, they don’t even need a mask.
