That’s not “Leading by example;” that’s Damage Control

Kamala stages a vaccine photo-op to try and undo the damage her own big mouth caused. And that’s not “Leading by example.”

On Tuesday, Kamala Harris staged a “Look, everybody! I’m getting the COVID vaccine” photo op and proudly tweeted it out to her slack-jawed fans on Twitter. And like a proud grandfather, Joe Biden quote tweeted Kamala’s photo-op with the message “Leading by example.”

Right. Kamala is “leading by example.”

Apparently we’re all supposed to forget that during the campaign, Kamala threw a boat-load of shade on any vaccine developed through President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed.

In early September, after the sycophantic Dana Bash asked Kamala if she would get a vaccine developed during Trump’s tenure, Kamala said this:

“Well, I think that’s going to be an issue for all of us. Um, I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump.” [Big Grin] “And it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the … um … the efficacy and the … and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about. I will not take his word for it.”

Kamala stepping up to take the vaccine isn’t “Leading by example;” it’s damage control.

Keep in mind, the lightweight Junior Senator from California is really, really bad at this.

If we learned anything during her embarrassing run for President, it’s that Kamala will say anything in the moment if she thinks it will help her. And the moment what she said begins to hurt her, she scrambles to distance herself from it.

Remember her “star turn” at the first debate when she accused Joe Biden of being a racist?

The instant Kamala was picked as Joe’s running mate, her response to why she would accept the slot from a guy she called a racist was to cackle like an idiot and yell “IT WAS A DEBATE!!

Kamala’s vaccine photo op is exactly like Kamala’s “It was a debate!” damage control back in August.

Fearmongering over the vaccine was just the latest in a long line of over-the-top, inappropriate tactics Kamala used in her quest for power.

But now that she expects to be in the White House, Kamala can’t have Americans fearful of taking the vaccine. Her own anti-vax rhetoric is biting her in the ass.

So, no, that vaccine photo-op was not “Leading by example.”

It was typical Kamala back-peddling once she realized her own big mouth got her in hot water … again.

You want to see “Leading by example?”

This is “Leading by example:”

“Granted, I mean, I’m an elected official. But whoop-dee-doo. At the end of the day, let’s focus where the risk is.”

“Leading by example” is not cutting to the front of the line just because you’re a whoop-dee-doo elected official.

If only Kamala had taken Ron DeSantis’ lead. But she couldn’t; could she?

She doesn’t care about the people most at risk for COVID.

Popping off about how she wouldn’t trust a vaccine developed under the Trump Administration put her and her political fortunes at risk.

And that’s the only risk Kamala cares about.

So she staged a photo-op – not to encourage those at risk to take it, but to try and undo the damage her own big mouth caused.
