US snowstorm: Tens of millions on East Coast to be affected

A powerful snowstorm is sweeping through the north-eastern US, with warnings in place for 14 states affecting more than 60 million people.

Some parts of Pennsylvania and New York are predicted to see as much as two feet (60cm) of snow.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned of "dangerous, if not impossible travel conditions and isolated power surges" in the worst-affected areas.

Two people died in a crash involving dozens of cars in central Pennsylvania.

Officials say they do not expect the storm to disrupt Covid-19 vaccine distribution, which began in the US on Monday. However, there were reports of some coronavirus testing centres in several states being temporarily closed.

Forecasters said the storm could dump up to two feet of snow in an area stretching from eastern Pennsylvania to New York's Catskill Mountains, with a foot or more in the rest of the north-east.

Some areas will see more snow "in one event than they have seen all of last winter", the NWS warned.

Parts of Centre County in Pennsylvania were hit with up to 33cm of snow by Wednesday night, according to the NWS.

Police in Pennsylvania said a pile-up left two people dead on the Interstate 80 in Clinton County. Multiple people were also injured in the crash which involved between 30-60 vehicles.

Six people were also hurt in a separate multi-car collision in New York City, involving 27 vehicles.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio warned that the storm could be the biggest the city has seen in years, warning residents to "take this seriously".

Schools across the city have moved to online learning, outdoor dining has been suspended and ferry routes have stopped.

According to the FlightAware website, more than 1,500 flights have already been cancelled. Some rail services have also been suspended across the north-east.

US Secretary for Transportation Elaine Chao warned those in the path of the storm "to know what's expected for your area and don't drive in dangerous conditions"

Joe Biden’s immigration policies would flood U.S. with migrants

OAN Newsroom

UPDATED 7:33 AM PT – Thursday, December 17, 2020

The Mexican foreign minister said if Joe Biden were to win the election, this would lead to an increase in illegal cross-border immigration.

On Tuesday, Marcelo Ebrard said Mexico does not support Biden’s open borders immigration policies, asserting they would not solve the problem and would actually encourage migrants to make the perilous journey through Mexico to the U.S. border.

In recent weeks, a caravan of migrants have begun the journey from Honduras. They are justifying their decision to come to the U.S. by citing pandemic economic effects combined with destruction from hurricanes, which battered South American countries last month.

Jose Gonzalez, a coordinator with a Guatemalan Christian organization that works with migrants, said he expects the number of these caravans would multiply if Biden were to win the presidency as changes in government in the U.S. encourage migrants to test the waters of possibly shifting immigration policies. He said he expects the current caravan to get larger as it travels through more countries.

Several open border lobbying groups are urging the Democrat candidate to open the borders and allow all South American migrants into the U.S. interior. Groups like ‘United We Dream,’ a far left immigration advocacy group, are also pushing Biden to grant amnesty to all illegal aliens, allowing those within the country to stay and those who cross to remain.

President Trump has continually affirmed his commitment to keeping America’s borders secure while putting America first. He noted, Biden’s immigration proposal begins with a pledge to increase the annual global refugee admissions cap from 18,000 to 125,000. This is nearly a 700 percent increase.

This comes despite Biden admitting in his own campaign statement that some countries in South America that produce a great number of refugees, such as Honduras, are riddled with crime and narcotics trafficking.

His immigration policy outlines a plan to combat said violence by granting amnesty for more than 11 million immigrants. Biden’s plan would also pay countries a billion dollars a year for four years while their citizens continue to flee to America in droves

6 Experts Predict The Worst-Case Scenario With China Under A Feeble Biden Foreign Policy

Whether Biden seems actively pro-China, or merely weak on the communist country, his lack of position on China foreshadows a number of plausible crises.

When Donald Trump ran for president in 2016, he ran on overhauling the economic relationship with China, which he blamed for raiding American factories and offshoring American jobs. Throughout his administration, Trump railed against the communist country for unlawfully claiming territory in the Pacific Ocean, stripping Hong Kong’s autonomy, and covering up the Wuhan virus outbreak.

Whatever you think of Trump’s positions on China, it’s a sharp contrast to what we’ve heard from President-elect Joe Biden on the same issues, which is essentially not much. When discussing his foreign policy during the 2020 campaign, Biden rarely got more specific than promising “to work with allies.”

On the campaign trail in May, Biden downplayed any problems the United States may have with China. “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man … I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us,” he said.

In an October “60 Minutes” interview, Biden upgraded the Chinese threat level from “not competition” to our “biggest competitor,” saving the actual “biggest threat” label for Russia.

Whether you interpret his silence on China as actively pro-China, or merely feeble on China, Biden’s weak stance is cause for concern as Beijing shows no slowing down in their pursuit of becoming the dominant global superpower. I asked a group of foreign policy experts what they envision as the worst-case scenario for China’s behavior under a Biden administration. Here’s what they had to say.

Gordon Chang

The worst thing that can result from Biden’s China policy is the next global war.

China’s regime tested both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama early in their terms with dangerous intercepts of the U.S. Navy in the global commons, specifically, the EP-3 collision in the case of Bush, and the harassment of the Impeccable and Victorious during Obama’s first months. In both cases, China felt it had prevailed.

The regime did not test President Trump because, I believe, Chinese leaders were scared of him.

They are not scared of Biden, as is evident from the bold comments of Renmin University’s Di Dongsheng, publicized widely inside China late last month. Those comments show the breathtaking arrogance of the Chinese elite, which now has no hesitation expressing in public its belief that, with a President Biden, China will once again control outcomes at the highest levels in Washington.

Because the Chinese elite believe they can do whatever they want, it will be hard for Biden to deter such a militant regime. Chinese ruler Xi Jinping might do something dangerous, something that America will have to oppose.

Once China starts something, Russia, North Korea, and Iran could take advantage of the situation to start hostilities elsewhere. We can, therefore, face simultaneous crises.

Rebeccah Heinrichs

In the near term, the event of the most serious gravity would be China takes Taiwan. And if Beijing calculates that the Biden administration won’t stop it, no question the People’s Liberation Army does it. Like Hong Kong, it will be a nightmare for the Taiwanese, a really wonderful liberty-loving people. It’s hard to even think of it.

And with their loss, so goes America’s prominence in the Pacific. It would be a huge blow to our ability to make good on our security commitments in the region. It would be devastating.

Rebeccah Heinrichs is a senior fellow at Hudson Institute, where she specializes in nuclear deterrence and missile defense.

David Goldman

From what we observe at Asia Times, none of the Trump administration’s restrictions on exports to China has made much of a dent. China has installed nearly 1 million base stations out of a goal of 10 million to build out its national 5G network by 2024. Germany, Japan, and South Korea have refused American demands to exclude Huawei and ZTE from their 5G networks, although there are some limitations.

China, meanwhile, is developing 5G applications, including smart cities (traffic management), agriculture, flexible manufacturing, and so forth. And our imports from China in November reached an all-time record. If anything, this is likely to accelerate under a Biden administration, which probably will trade off a piecemeal removal of some of the Trump administration’s restrictions for greater access by US companies to the Chinese domestic market. I would use the word “re-coupling,” except there really hasn’t been any de-coupling to speak of.

David Goldman writes the “Spengler” column for Asia Times and is a regular contributor to the Claremont Review of Books and to PJ Media.

Sumantra Maitra

I think Biden is fundamentally cautious, as his reticence about Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. show. But he is also a feeble senile personality, as in he gets pushed over. So, in a Biden administration, there are two threats.

One, idealistic fanatics, like Susan Rice and others, will push Biden into untenable positions, and doing so, Biden would take his eyes off the ball and bankrupt and overstretch the country. China is the greatest challenge facing the United States, and the United States frankly needs an alliance in Asia, like an Asian NATO or a Quad to focus on stopping China’s rise, and move away from human rights promotion in the Middle East and Afghanistan.

Two, make sure Europe pays their fair share and stop free-riding. The European Union is turning into an empire, and if they side with China, game over. Biden lacks the spine to take on the EU.

Michael Pillsbury

The worst-case scenario I worry about is not accidental war or China’s near-term world domination. I worry about their successful global influence campaign that uses gifts, loans, bribes, think tanks, and academics in a brilliantly orchestrated campaign to bolster those who see China with complacency. They have promoted the image that China loves peace, loves the environment, and faces enormous internal challenges. The idea is to demonize anyone who wants to challenge China.

The campaign against Huawei taught our senior officials that China will not just faint away or swoon when the U.S. government says “boo.” China will fight back with all instruments of its economic power. They have had real success with many of our 550 or so billionaires who visit China in their executive jets, are hosted by Xi Jinping himself, and then promote false narratives suggested by the Chinese.

A few of Joe Biden’s advisers know China well and want him to be tough. I wrote “The Hundred Year Marathon” with a lot of declassified materials that CIA and FBI approved of me disclosing. My goal was to wake people up.

Michael Pillsbury is the director of the Center on Chinese Strategy at the Hudson Institute and has served in presidential administrations from Richard Nixon to Barack Obama.

Helen Raleigh

We should be deeply concerned because Biden has said so little. China takes a great deal of comfort that Biden is going to assume power in January, because if you look at his cabinet, these are all people who China knows how to deal with. These are all people who have been around for a long time and they advocated for China’s policies in the past. They’re mostly driven by corporate interests and emphasizing economic engagement.

For the last several decades, they painted a picture that economic engagement will bring political change in China, and it turns out economic engagement in a regime that has no interest to change only gives them economic power and helps them grow military power.

Look at what happened under the last four years of the Obama-Biden administration, when China took over the control of almost the entire South China Sea. That’s the template. If Biden carries similar policies going forward, it’s really likely China’s going to conquer somewhere else, most likely Taiwan, based on that same template. I think the real worst-case scenario is China becomes unstoppable.

Vote fraud: Trump needs to weigh the nuclear option

Vote fraud: Trump needs to weigh the nuclear option

Lt. Col. James Zumwalt cites Insurrection Act and giving a talkative insider immunity

The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) announced Friday it would not hear a case brought by Texas claiming four other states that unconstitutionally changed their voting laws gave Joe Biden a win in the 2020 presidential election, adversely impacting on pro-Trump states, like Texas, that did so comply. That decision and the Dec. 14 confirmation by the Electoral College of a Biden victory now extremely limit President Donald Trump's remaining options.

For Trump supporters, the news was as disheartening as that received in 1836 about outnumbered Texas defenders at the Alamo being massacred by the Mexican army. But from that defeat came inspiration. Forty-six days later, Gen. Sam Houston, with the battle cry, "Remember the Alamo," inspired his troops to win the Battle of San Jacinto – a decisive first step in liberating Texas from Mexico.

While the Alamo was a setback for Texas, its impact was a motivator. For Trump supporters, the SCOTUS decision must be similarly embraced. It is now time to reach into the quiver of remaining limited options. Before doing so, let us examine how Democrats continue burying the fraud issue.

Sen. Chuck Schumer did a great disservice last week in promoting a false narrative. He derided Trump Senate supporters, saying, "There are actually sitting senators … who would prefer to undermine our democracy by indulging President Trump's wild conspiracy theories about a stolen election. … This has gone beyond ridiculous. … No court in this country has found any of President Trump's claims of widespread voter fraud credible. No serious state election official – Democrat and Republican – has found them credible. …"

What Schumer ignores is that most cases, even Friday's SCOTUS decision, were dismissed not for failing to find fraud but on procedural grounds. He seeks to bury the fraud issue without addressing it. Thus, it is Schumer who undermines our democracy by ignoring the public's dwindling faith in our voting process.

A large number of voters, both Republican (77%) and Democrat (30%), believe fraud occurred. Evidence includes ballots emptied from suitcases hidden under a table at a voting station and counted after the departure of monitors who were told counting had stopped for the night; a truck driver transporting thousands of Biden ballots from New York to Pennsylvania; the same Biden ballots repeatedly being run through the tabulation machine; voting machine post-election testing revealing running equal numbers of Trump and Biden ballots generating a 3% Biden advantage; etc.

Schumer hypocritically claims the issue has "gone beyond ridiculous" after Democrats promoted the Trump/Russia collusion hoax for years. They pushed that investigation until it fizzled but now lack similar resolve for investigating voter fraud. Schumer cries "Where's the beef," but one is absolutely politically blind not to see it.

Perhaps a nuclear option is mandated.

With only weeks left before the inauguration, irrefutable evidence of fraud becomes imperative. Despite massive evidence to date, a critical piece is missing, allowing dots to be connected. Dispositive proof in the form of testimony by someone involved in exchange for immunity is needed.

Obviously, those involved believed they fooled the system to steal the election. They anticipated a Biden victory being accepted much like Trump's 2016 victory was. While voter fraud was not an issue there, allegations of Russian influence failed to prevent him from taking office.

Careful analysis of the 2020 election reveals numerous voting irregularities, bringing the whole system under scrutiny. Before this year's election, who dreamed our voting process was so susceptible to manipulation? Who dreamed the voting machine manufacturer would employ a staunch anti-Trumper who boasted he had fixed it so Trump could not win? Who dreamed a 2005 report on the failings of our voting system identified as a result of the contentious 2000 presidential election could be used as a playbook for fraudsters?

Post-election fraud claims triggered a memory for a resident of an old apartment building in New York City's Queens. Months before the election, while leaving the building, he observed stacks of voting ballots wrapped in clear plastic outside a mailbox – way more than there were residents in his building. Later that day, the ballots disappeared without ever being delivered. Were these ballots part of an intricate fraud scheme? The testimony of truck driver Jesse Morgan claiming he transported thousands of ballots from New York to Pennsylvania raised the question in the observer's mind, "Does someone need to blow the whistle on election fraud?"

That someone needs to be an insider, motivated to talk.

Republican congressmen have called for a congressional investigation into the 2020 presidential election. It needs to happen, especially due to a recent forensics report finding, after examining Dominion voting machines and software in a Michigan county, they were "intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results." The machines had a totally unacceptable error rate of 68.05%, far above the allowable FEC error rate of 0.0008%. (Interestingly, unlike the four defendant states mentioned in the above lawsuit, Texas had rejected using Dominion's voting machines for failing to meet its "election standards for efficiency, accuracy, and safety from 'fraudulent or unauthorized manipulation.'")

A video taken election night in Atlanta, Georgia's, State Farm Arena polling station caught a team of three possible Democratic operatives in action. After Republican monitors – told counting had stopped – were sent home, the operatives pulled out suitcases containing thousands of Biden ballots. The three have now been identified.

As Trump declared, our election system is under a "coordinated assault and siege." It is a diabolical and stealthy effort to undermine democracy. It is an extreme threat demanding an extreme solution – and the Insurrection Act has been proposed as providing the vehicle for doing so. The military's seizure of all election fraud evidence in contested states is a nuclear option needed to determine what occurred. Perhaps offering immunity to the fraud "foot soldiers" above would be a good start.

The Lone Star State of Texas, in filing its now failed lawsuit with the Supreme Court, proved to be a lone star hero, attempting to seek redress for a national election discredited by fraud. While procedural barriers remain a legal hurdle for other cases to overcome, hopefully one of the "soldiers of fraud" will play the role Texas was denied.

Experts: Investigate election fraud or 'we will no longer have a viable republic'

Experts: Investigate election fraud or 'we will no longer have a viable republic'

'Young people today seem to have no idea of what the media used to be'

Two experts in international issues contend election fraud in the United States must be fully investigated, or "we will no longer have a viable republic."

Leni Friedman Valenta and Jiri Valenta of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies wrote in an article published by the Gatestone Institute that for much of the nation, "the attempted coups have now been sanctified and made to seem legitimate by the election -- that many feel was 'stolen' -- of former Vice-President Biden."

"One can surely understand how Republicans feel now that the top-ranking conspirators involved the attempted coups have captured the government through their figurehead, former Vice-President Biden," they wrote.

" Clearly, voter fraud must be investigated. ... If elections continue the same way -- by legitimizing practices that sidestep constitutional and states' laws -- as they threaten to do in two run-off elections in Georgia on January 5, we will no longer have a viable republic. The two upcoming elections in Georgia to determine control of the Senate may end up being the last firewall of a workable, multi-party nation."

They said it's clear that Biden was elected only because he was "supported by almost universally biased mainstream newspapers and television stations that distorted or snuffed stories at will, as well as by Wall Street corporations and Big Tech companies aching to do business with a lucrative, if hegemonic, China."

Media should be the "watchdog" over government, they said, but today "it is the watchdog that needs watching."

"Young people today seem to have no idea of what the media used to be when America was more united. All the newspapers and media outlets recognized and covered the same big stories. The ideal to which journalistic professionalism aspired was objective reporting -- at least an attempt toward it -- and the media at least tried to keep 'news' balanced, and separate from opinions and op-eds," they wrote.

"Today, journalism has changed so that the 'news' is often conflated with unsupported and biased opinion. Consider Newsweek's story on Senator Ron Johnson's (R-Wis.) poll-supported claim that 'Donald Trump would have won the election if the media had given more coverage to unsubstantiated allegations concerning President-elect Joe Biden's son, Hunter.' The word 'unsubstantiated' is the reporter's opinion -- not a certified fact. As we are seeing now, and as Senator Johnson was doubtless well aware, the allegations were smothered in substantiation. All a reporter had to do was look," they said.

Then there's the reporting that President Trump is making "baseless" claims of vote fraud, despite "eyewitness affidavits, vote count anomalies, abrogations of both the Constitution and states' election laws, and the use of Dominion voting machines and Smartmatic software that are reported to have the capacity to flip votes."

Corroborated reports by the New York Post of Biden family influence-peddling in China were censored by social media and the establishment media, they noted.

And YouTube is censoring videos claiming mass fraud changed election results.

But the platform still allows videos claiming Trump colluded with Russia.

Dean Baquet of the New York Times is cited as an example, as he said he "built our newsroom" around the Russia hoax but decided the confirmed facts about the "Biden family's influence peddling was apparently 'not fit to print.'"

"Especially before an election the newspaper was manipulating," they wrote.

d the attacks on Trump, "bogus charges of collusion with Russia, a kangaroo impeachment, and now an election that appears overwhelmingly stolen," appear to be a succession of attempted coups.

They cited six companies -- News Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, CBS and Comcast – that together own 90% of the TV stations, radio stations, movies, magazines and newspapers that 277 million Americans rely on.

"One hopeful sign is that in the US, we do not have complete censorship -- at least yet. In freedom of the press lies its reverent responsibility for the freedom and welfare of the people," they wrote. "As more and more news of the election fraud has comes to the attention of Americans, rallies have sprung up in support of honest elections. So far, still to be answered, is the question: If election officials can ignore legalities with impunity, how, going forward, can there be trustworthy elections?"

Ron Johnson States a Basic Truth About the Election, but It Was Too Much Truth: Deleted

How bad is the media censorship getting?

ABC gives us perhaps the perfect example. It’s getting so bad that they are even censoring themselves.

ABC had this tweet of what Chair of the Homeland Security Committee Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said during the Senate hearing on election security this morning.

Johnson stated the basic fact that many people have not accepted the results of the last two presidential elections. That’s true and a plain fact for a variety of reasons, from actual irregularities and unconstitutional actions in this election to the Russia collusion hoax paid for by the Democrats in some measure in 2016.

But apparently that truth was a little bit too much for ABC to actually quote, most likely because someone thought it was giving credence to the concerns about the 2020 election.

So ABC wiped their tweet after they posted it.

But guess which tweet they left up? Apparently no Democrats called or they didn’t get any Twitter flaggings for this one.

This one was narrative approved:

So we’re supposed to “believe all women” according to Democrats, except when they testify before state legislators and sign sworn affidavits about the election irregularities they observed, as many women did.

You’re not supposed to even know that legislators might be acknowledging your concerns in even the mildest terms, because that’s bad, apparently to the powers that be and to ABC. So meanwhile they wouldn’t address the questions, they’ll allow them to fester and it will harm the republic because people will no longer believe that the elections are secure. But all concerns will simply be dismissed.

THE AUDACITY OF THIS MAN TRUMP

Article by E.P. Unum in Abyssus Abyssum Invocat / Deep calls to Deep

THE AUDACITY OF THIS MAN TRUMP

I’m still trying to understand what 80 million voters disliked about President Trump so much that they decided to cast their votes for a man who served forty-seven years in government and has done absolutely nothing for the American people. And, I’m still flabbergasted that those same people would vote for a woman to serve as Vice President, a heartbeat away from the Presidency, with a rather checkered and not so moral past. I wondered why they despised and hated President Trump so much.
And so, I have many questions:Did you dislike that Trump made cruelty to animals a felony?
Did you dislike he raised billions to stop the opioid crisis?
Perhaps you feel that he destroyed ISIS, killed terrorists, including the leader of ISIS and the Iranian General responsible for thousands of American deaths, all without going to war?
Did you dislike the fact that the media and democrats, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Cuomo, and Jim Acosta said we’d be in World War III by now with North Korea, and their prophecies did not come to pass?
Did you dislike Trump because under his leadership we became energy-independent and an exporter rather than an importer of oil, no longer relying on the Middle East for our petroleum needs?
Did you dislike him because he wanted to build a wall to keep criminals and drugs from coming into our country?
Did you dislike him because he just slashed the price for medications in some cases by 50%, which is driving big Pharma nuts?
Perhaps you dislike that he signed a law ending the gag-order on pharmacists that prevented them from sharing money-saving options on prescriptions?
Is your dislike for President Trump based on the fact that he signed the Save Our Seas Act, which funds $10 million per year to clean tons of plastic and garbage from the ocean?
Did you dislike that he signed a bill for airports to provide breastfeeding stations for nursing moms?
How about the fact that he signed the biggest wilderness protection and conservation bill in a decade, designating 375,000 acres as protected land, was that why you dislike him?Did you dislike that he loves America and puts Americans first?
Did you dislike that he made a gay man the ambassador to Germany and then asked him to clean up national security and un-classify as much of it as possible for transparency?
Did you dislike that he’s kept almost every campaign promise (with zero support from Congress who work against him daily!) plus 100 more promises because Washington was much more broken than he or any of us thought?
Do you dislike that he works for free, donating his entire $400,000 salary to different charities?
Did you feel that he did this for four years because he was “showboating?”
Do you dislike that he’s done more for the black community than every other President?
Do you dislike that he listened to senator Scott and passed Invest In Opportunity Zones to help minorities?
Do you dislike that he passed prison reform, which gives people a second chance and has made quite a huge difference for the black communities?
Do you dislike that he passed VA reforms to benefit the very people who served our country and defend our freedom?
Do you dislike that he’s winning and signing new trade deals that benefit Americans, instead of costing us more?
Did you dislike him because, unlike all of the presidents who came before him, he recognized Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel, relocated the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv there, and then proceeded to negotiate four peace accords between Israel and Arab Nations when many in the media were predicting there would be war? Was that why you disliked him?
Do you dislike that he loves his flag and his country?
Do you dislike that he calls out and has shown time and time again that the mainstream media in our country has become corrupt and incompetent, twisting the truth to control and mislead the people and he is trying to protect us from this?
Do you dislike that he has been a President totally committed to ending wars and bringing our troops home?
Perhaps you dislike the stern way he spoke, publically to NATO allies to step up and pay their commitments to defense rather than expecting America to do it for them, something we have done for over seventy-five years?
Do you dislike that he has made a commitment to end child-trafficking and crimes against humanity and has made 1000’s of arrests already?
Do you dislike he’s brought home over 40 Americans held captive, the last one from Iran?
Do you dislike that he’s proven he was right about the Deep State and he was indeed spied on before, during, and after he became President?
Do you dislike that he was a Billionaire before he ran for President and now is worth at least 1/3 less… because he loves America?
Do you dislike that he respects cops, veterans, ICE & First Responders?
Do you dislike that he does not sell out America to other countries, like the leaders prior to him have done?
Could it be possible that the ones who sell out America to line their pockets own the media and Hollywood and hate him so much for trying to expose them and hate him for putting the American people first that they try to manipulate our thinking and control the information we get to try to cultivate hatred for him?  These people benefit when you hate the man trying to stop them… so they won’t have to give up the wealth they have gotten and continue to get thru mass taxation and control. Wouldn’t you at least want to research this possibility?
Could 75 million Americans already know the truth… that he has done more for blacks in the last 20 years than our last 5 presidents put together and is actually not a racist and never has been one… but you believe he is because it has been drilled into your head and yet you’ve never researched his accomplishments?
You can start by watching those daily briefings he did during the lockdown (all online) and then watching the coverage on the Main Stream Media and how they twisted it.
Do you actually believe the President encouraged America to inject bleach?
Did you research the effects of UV light which is used to disinfect school busses and medical equipment and is also being used as a treatment for bacteria and respiratory infections?  They want you to believe he is stupid because if you figure out that he isn’t, they will lose billions of dollars and all their control.I know… it is hard to let go of what you believed to be true for most of your life. You are not alone. But your blind hatred of this man who is literally trying to save us from the far left, radical Socialists is going to be detrimental to our country if you continue to support their hatred.
They are teaching hatred and separation…to our children and even to our families! You are not allowed to agree with “part” of their agenda and think for yourself; you must repeat their full belief system, or name-calling and insults ensue.
This is not an informed debate.  It is not a reason. This is the very definition of a cult! All or nothing! They despise law and order. Just look around you. He supports law and order, not looting, rioting, and chaos, so we are safe and can live in a civilized society. He stands for unity and America first. Is that why you dislike him?
You will be amazed at how much more peace comes into your life when you turn off the fake news and tune into what America stands for, where we focus on what unites us, not what divides us. The media has despised him from day one. Impeachment was on the table before he even took the oath of office in January 2017. They said Impeach the “motherfuc#^*r”….but then they turn around and say his rhetoric is bad? He was never given a chance, yet he’s done more in 4 years than any president with zero help from the media or democrats. Results don’t lie.
The media and democrats consistently complain about Trump “mismanaging the Covid Crisis.” Nothing could be further from the truth. The man has been a rock and his leadership has kept the nation from the abyss. He promised a vaccine before the end of 2020. They said it could not be done. He proved them wrong once again….doses of the vaccine are being delivered now in mid-December!
He built hospitals in NYC and California, sent retrofitted Navy Hospital Ships which went unused, initiated Operation Warp Speed that produced PPE and therapeutics in record time along with thousands of ventilators, far more than we needed, and which are now being sent all over the world. And the overall death rate from Covid stands at less than one percent!
How dare this man, the President of the United States, care so much about the American people and our Country. How dare he stand at attention and salute our Flag, support our troops, honor our veterans, put God back into our lives, protect the unborn, give people second chances and take seriously his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
How dare this man show up at 2:00 AM at Dover Air Force Base to welcome home hostages held in foreign lands and the remains of our fallen soldiers.
How dare this man develop and implement plans and programs to create the greatest most prosperous economy and standard of living in the history of mankind.
How dare he reduce unemployment to 3.4% and lower unemployment for Black, Asian and Hispanic communities in fifty years!
You would think this man was trying to actually do things rather than speak eloquently and act “Presidential” and “Cool” about such things.
How dare he!
One would think this President was trying to provide leadership.
How crass.
The audacity of this man.
You would think he is trying to be a leader or something

Mike Rowe: I Don’t Want To Pay For Your Useless College Degree

In a Facebook post Monday, TV host and personality Mike Rowe denounced student loan forgiveness and encouraged people to reconsider taking on debt for a four-year degree that may not even land them a job.

“Many it seems, suspect that I’ll be supportive of these efforts since I’ve written at length about the outrageous rise of college tuition and the scandalous ways in which hundreds of thousands of students have been conned into borrowing ridiculous sums of money to purchase degrees that never lead to an actual job,” Rowe wrote.

“Well, for the record, I do not support student loan forgiveness,” he added.

Sharing a National Review article on the issue, Rowe explained that forgiving student loans is not only unfair to those who have already sacrificed to pay off their loans but it “would send a terrible message to the very same universities that already gouge their customers with sky-high tuition.”

“Tuition will never come back to Earth if we bail out those who borrowed more than they could repay,” he wrote.

Rowe also said he pities those who took on “the yoke of a crushing student loan.”

“You were quite possibly sold a bill of goods. You were very likely pressured by your friends, your parents, or your guidance counselor, to attend the ‘right’ school. You were perhaps a victim of this persistent, pernicious, and preposterous push to peddle a four-year degree to every person with a pulse, and for that, you have my sympathy,” Rowe said.

“But that’s not my fault. Nor is it the fault of the American people. The fault belongs to you, and so does the debt,” he added.

Instead of taking on debt for a four-year degree, Rowe encouraged people to explore all of their options including learning tangible skills and trades.

“This is why I’ve spent the last twelve years discouraging people from slipping into hock at the outset of their careers. This is why I push back against the insane notion that a four-year degree is the best path for most people,” he said. “I don’t want to see more people borrow money they can’t afford to pay back. But nor do I wish to pay it back for you. I will, however, encourage you to apply for a work-ethic scholarship, and wish you every success in the future.”

Rowe concluded by plugging his foundation mikeroweWORKS, which awards money to people “looking to master a useful skill.”

“We have no objection to a broad-based, liberal arts education,” Rowe said. “We simply object to the cost, and are therefore assisting students who wish to pursue a trade that doesn’t require a four-year degree.”

Jill Biden’s Doctorate Is Garbage Because Her Dissertation Is Garbage

Her dissertation is not an addition to the sum total of human knowledge.

You can tell someone is smarting from an inferiority complex when he insists on being addressed as “Dr.” on the basis of holding an academic doctorate rather than being a physician. Ph.D. holders who have genuine accomplishments don’t make you call them “Doctor,” which is why you never hear about “Dr. Paul Krugman” and “Dr. George Will.” None of the professors I knew at Yale, even the ones who were eminent in their fields, insisted on the title, and I think most of them would have scoffed if someone had addressed them as “Dr.” The only reason you ever hear the phrase “Dr. Henry Kissinger” is that Kissy grew up in title-mad, airs-and-graces Germany, where people are awed rather than dismissive even if you insist on a triple-serving title (“Herr Professor Doktor”).

Insisting on being called “Doctor” when you don’t heal people is, among most holders of doctorates, seen as a gauche, silly, cringey ego trip. Consider “Dr.” Jill Biden, who doesn’t even hold a Ph.D. but rather a lesser Ed.D., something of a joke in the academic world. President-elect Joe Biden once explained that his wife sought the degree purely for status reasons: “She said, ‘I was so sick of the mail coming to Sen. and Mrs. Biden. I wanted to get mail addressed to Dr. and Sen. Biden.’ That’s the real reason she got her doctorate,” Joe Biden has said.

Mrs. Biden wanted the credential for its own sake. As for its quality, well. She got it from the University of Delaware, whose ties to her husband, its most illustrious alumnus if you don’t count Joe Flacco, run so deep that it has a school of public policy named after him. That the University of Delaware would have rejected her 2006 dissertation as sloppy, poorly written, non-academic, and barely fit for a middle-school Social Studies classroom (all of which it is) when her husband had been representing its state in the U.S. Senate for more than three decades was about as likely as Tom Hagen telling Vito Corleone that his wife is a fat sow on payday. The only risk to the University of Delaware was that it might strain its collective wrist in its rush to rubber-stamp her doctoral paper. Mrs. Biden could have turned in a quarter-a**ed excuse for a magazine article written at the level of Simple English Wikipedia and been heartily congratulated by the university for her towering mastery. Which is exactly what happened.

Jill Biden’s dissertation is not an addition to the sum total of human knowledge. It is not a demonstration of expertise in its specific topic or its broad field. It is a gasping, wheezing, frail little Disney forest creature that begs you to notice the effort it makes to be the thing it is imitating while failing so pathetically that any witnesses to its ineptitude must feel compelled, out of manners alone, to drag it to the nearest podium and give it a participation trophy. Which is more or less what an Ed.D. is. It’s a degree that only deeply unimpressive people feel confers the honorific of “Doctor.” People who are actually smart understand that being in possession of a credential is no proof of intelligence.

My friends, I have read this document in its entirety and it is so equally lacking in rhetorical force, boldness of conception, and original research that it amounts to a triple null set, a vacuum inside a blank inside an abyss. If Ingmar Bergman were alive and hired to make a film about this paper, he would say, “I can’t do it, there’s so much emptiness even I cannot grasp it,” and it would sound so much worse in Swedish that suicide hotlines would have to hire extra staff. Gene Simmons has a better claim to be a Doctor of Love than Jill Biden to be a Doctor of Education; after all, Simmons has spent a lifetime demonstrating mastery of his field. As for Biden, she has spent a lot of time teaching remedial English to slow learners in community colleges. Which is like being a rock musician who’s in a bar band. That plays covers. At mixers. Held in assisted-living facilities. Mrs. Biden’s dissertation emits so much noxious methane the EPA should regulate it, Greta Thunberg should denounce it, and Hollywood celebrities should hold a telethon to draw awareness to its dangers.

As Joe Biden has frankly noted, Mrs. Biden sought the Dr. honorific to rebuild her amour propre. Much of the press plays along, addressing Jill Biden as “Dr. Biden” even when actual medical doctors are referred to without the honorific if they are not currently practicing. Eminent pediatric neurosurgeon and HUD secretary Ben Carson is now “Mr. Carson” to the New York Times, but the same paper refers to Mrs. Biden as “Dr. Biden.” This practice appears to contradict the Times’ style guide, which explains that the “Dr.” title is used for non-physicians “only if it is germane to the holder’s primary current occupation (academic, for example, or laboratory research).”

Mrs. Biden until recently taught English composition at NoVa, a small community college in Northern Virginia. To justify addressing her as “Dr.” would require a generous view of what constitutes an “academic,” and judging by the writing skills evinced by her students (“She very bad teacher and it is hard to pass class. I RECOMMEND NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR”), they emerged from her tutelage lacking mastery of even very basic grammar. As for the contents of the dissertation, which she cobbled together from a few secondary sources and some vapid interviews and questionnaires she sent around at the campus where she worked before her husband became vice president, Delaware Technical Community College, I’ll go over them in detail in my next column.
