Trump Beats Out Obama for Most Admired Man, and Where Biden Comes In Says It All
President Donald Trump has achieved a lot so far in his presidency.
One of the most important things was overturning or changing a lot of the harmful things that Barack Obama put in place.
But now he’s unseated another position that Barack Obama held for the past 12 years – most admired man of the year.
Gallup results are in and Americans chose Trump over Obama, with Trump receiving 18% of the vote, Obama 15% and Biden far back at 6%. Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Pope were some of the other folks to round out the list.
Last year Obama and Trump were tied at 18% but this year, Trump beat him out. This isn’t the first time that Trump has made the top ten, he’s made it 10 times. Trump was of course admired before he entered politics, making it into the top ten even before he became president, in 1988-1990, and 2011.
Among Republicans surveyed, 48 percent of respondents named Trump as their most admired man. No other public figure got more than 2 percent Republican support, according to Gallup. Among independents, both Obama and Trump received 11 percent support. Fauci was the choice of 5 percent of Democrats but just 1 percent of Republicans.
Michelle Obama won most admired woman beating out Kamala Harris and Melania Trump, among others. Interestingly, Justice Amy Coney Barrett even made the list.
How fascinating this is, that President Trump is supposed to have lost in the election, with more votes than any incumbent president in history because Joe Biden is supposed to have gotten more votes than anyone including Trump and Obama. Yet Biden can’t get anyone out to see him and he’s barely registering on this poll while Trump is the most admired. Biden can’t even get close to Obama’s numbers in the poll. So how is he supposed to have gotten all the votes he received? Especially given all the other bellwethers that were going toward Trump? Things that just don’t add up.
