The Return of Lurch

I said back in March that a potential Biden presidency meant getting the old Obama team back together again. And with the recent announcements of who will be joining the Biden Administration, looks like I was right. Because like a lumbering bad penny, old Lurch Kerry will be making his triumphant return.
Yippie.
The droning, adverb-loving buffoon has been tapped to be old Joe’s Climate Czar.
Lurch the Climate Czar.
Terrific. So we’re back to appointing “Czars,” are we?
And who wouldn’t want old Lurch back?
He’s the guy who confidently declared that there would never be a separate peace between Israel and Arab states without Palestinian involvement.
Lurch is so arrogantly sure of himself, isn’t he?
And President Trump proved him wrong.
Lurch Kerry will no doubt bring that same arrogant ignorance he displayed as Secretary of State to his new job as Climate Czar.
And no doubt AOC is thrilled. After all, Lurch Kerry is her mentor.
Remember when AOC squealed with delight after Lurch Kerry sang her praises before the Oversight Committee back in 2019? He claimed she “has in fact offered more leadership in one day or in one week than President Trump has in his lifetime” on Climate Change.
Call me crazy, but I think seeing AOC as a leader is pretty much disqualifying for a so-called “Climate Czar.”
Then again, as was the case with the Obama Administration, Biden is putting ideology above competence – that is when he’s not putting skin color above competence.
What’s clear from all of Biden’s picks is America First is about to become America Dead Last. Our economy, our national security and our freedom hang in the balance.
Let me bottom line it for you.
If Biden is sworn in on January 20, 2021, America is seriously f*cked.
