Il Douche

New York Sheriffs are refusing to enforce Il Douche Cuomo’s Thanksgiving Dictate. And Il Douche is not amused.

Apparently when Andrew Cuomo thinks of himself as the Leader he means it in the original Italian – Il Duce. Or, in Andrew’s case Il Douche.

It never ceases to amaze me how the media and Hollywood accuse Donald Trump of being a fascist, but applaud like clapping seals when a prat like Il Douche Cuomo actually behaves like a fascist.

In fact, just the other day the Emmys announced that Il Douche would be receiving an Emmy Award for his televised press conferences. Which only goes to prove that Andrew isn’t a leader, he just plays one on TV.

Il Douche is a little bit cranky of late. You see, some New York sheriffs are refusing to enforce Il Douche Cuomo’s Thanksgiving Dictate. Needless to say, that is not going over well at the Palazzo del Quirinale in Albany.

In his balcony address on Wednesday, Il Douche blasted these sheriffs for refusing to enforce “the law.” [Hat tip the Glens Falls Post Star]

“I don’t believe as a law enforcement officer, you have the right to pick and choose what law you will enforce. An executive order is a law.”

Hate to be persnickety here, but Legislatures make laws.

Il Douche doesn’t make law; he issues dictates.

Huh. What do you call someone who issues dictates again? The word is on the tip of my tongue. Can anyone help me out here?

“There’s a law [not a law] and you have to enforce the law [not a law] or don’t call yourself a law enforcement officer.”

I wonder if Il Douche realizes he just punched New York’s Sanctuary Cities in the ‘nads. Then again, that’s probably different because immigration laws are actually, you know, laws not dictates. And Il Douche only cares about his dictates.

He is, after all, the State.

Wait. That wasn’t il Duce; that was King Louis XIV of France.

Il Douche as King Louis XIV

You know, that works too.

This man’s insufferable arrogance has gone unchecked for eight months. Who am I kidding? This man’s insufferable arrogance has gone unchecked for ten years.

There is no “OFF” switch because all the people who should be a check on this man’s power lack the will to rein him in.

And all those celebrities that clutch their pearls and decry Trump’s “fascism” slobber all over this guy like big, dumb dogs while lifting him up as some kind of hero.

I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking the real heroes in New York right now are the sheriffs who finally drew a line in the sand over this Thanksgiving Dictate while telling Il Douche to get stuffed.
