Shouty Joe versus the Happy Warrior

Have you noticed that Joe Biden’s campaign stump speeches are getting really shouty lately? Seems like we’ve been here before.

Have you noticed that Joe Biden’s campaign stump speeches are getting really shouty lately?

Seems like we’ve been here before, doesn’t it?

Dude just can’t stop yelling.

While President Trump has been hitting the campaign trail like the proverbial Happy Warrior, Shouty Joe is angrily screaming to the dozen or so people cowering in their cars or sitting in pre-marked circles.

I just did a Twitter search on the phrase “why is Joe Biden yelling,” and there are tons of people asking that question.

My hat’s off to American Greatness writer Julie Kelly. She’s been suffering through Shouty Joe’s angry campaign speeches for the last few weeks. Honestly, I don’t know how she can stand it.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Shouty Joe isn’t a new thing to be sure. I’ve said before the guy is a hot-head. He’s been losing his cool quite a bit during this campaign. Whether it’s a reporter asking him a challenging question or an audience member calling out his BS, Joe’s temper flares are not uncommon.

But now his so-called rallies are pretty much Joe standing at a microphone yelling at the horn-honking supporters. And it certainly isn’t because he needs to be heard over the large throng of cheering people because there is no large throng of cheering people.

Honestly, honey. Chillax.

You know, maybe if Shouty Joe would stop yelling at everyone, he could utter a sentence without tripping over the words.

You’d think the guy who claims he is choosing hope over fear wouldn’t sound so damn angry all the time.

It really does remind me of 2016. Hillary’s campaign went out on a decidedly sour note if you recall.

This was encapsulated by that awful video appearance she made for the Laborer’s International Union of North America in late September of 2016.  You know the one. It included this infamous line:

Shouty Joe’s campaign events reek of that same air of desperation, irritation and frustration we saw from Hillary in the waning days of the 2016 election.

I’m sure HunterGate doesn’t help matters. While the Biden campaign publicly dismisses it as “Russian disinformation” and a “smear campaign,” I’m guessing behind the scenes the snowballing scandal is getting under Joe’s skin.

Couple that with the fact that Joe is in the throes of dementia, and it shouldn’t be a surprise that he keeps angrily yelling at everyone.

But all that yelling is off-putting to say the least – especially compared to high-energy, Happy Warrior Trump.

President Trump has fun at his rallies. He laughs, jokes — hell he even dances. The energy of the crowds is like a tonic to the man.

But from Joe all we get is dark messaging and frustrated yelling.

I also wonder if Shouty Joe’s anger and frustration has something to do with the fact that he just isn’t getting the crowds President Trump is drawing.

You think that doesn’t infuriate Joe? The guy has an ego as big as all outdoors.  And knowing that Trump is wildly more popular than he is must sting that ego quite a bit.

I’m thinking another reason Shouty Joe is sounding so angry and desperate is because traditionally reliable Democrat voters are abandoning Joe for Trump.

Like this guy:

And this guy:

Could it be that Shouty Joe realizes victory is slipping through his fingers?

You think it’s just pure coincidence that Joe added a last-minute campaign stop in Minnesota for today?

Minnesota, for crap’s sake.

The last Republican to win Minnesota was Richard Nixon in 1972.

If you’re having to scramble to campaign in historically reliable states four days away from election day, wouldn’t you be angry and shouty too?

Like Hillary in 2016, I think Joe set his expectations far too high. And the cold slap of reality has him all kinds of angry.
