Rachel’s record for getting things wrong remains unbroken
A gleeful Rachel Maddow inaccurately predicts an “absolutely terrible” jobs report. Her prediction was, like all her other predictions, flat-out wrong.
The night before the latest jobs numbers came out, Rachel Maddow continued her unbroken record of getting things wrong.
Yeah, “brace yourself; it’s going to be absolutely terrible,” says the gal with a track record for consistently getting things wrong.

And once again, she was wrong.
Nearly five million jobs were added in June.
That doesn’t sound “absolutely terrible” to me. Though, from Rachel’s perspective, as someone rooting for our economic destruction, I’m sure the incredible jobs report was “absolutely terrible” news.
Plus her unbroken record for getting things wrong is kinda what she’s known for. Let’s face it. It would be front-page news if a Rachel Maddow prediction came true.
But what really disgusted me about that brief clip was how happy Rachel looks at the prospect of an “absolutely terrible” jobs report.
She doesn’t even try to hide that gleeful smirk of hers.
Rachel is a case study in why President Trump calls the news media the Enemy of the People.
If Rachel Maddow really cared about the country, she wouldn’t take so much pleasure at the prospect of unemployed Americans. But she can’t help herself. Her hatred for Trump is only the tip of the iceberg.
As I’ve said countless times, it isn’t Trump they hate; they hate us.
This is why Rachel takes delight at our misery, but cries tears of anger over the Mueller Report failing to take out Trump.
Your misfortune is mother’s milk to Rachel. So while she might be saying “brace yourselves, it’ll be absolutely terrible,” she’s doing a happy dance on the inside.
In this case, it was her uncontained glee over the prospect of a terrible jobs report that makes Rachel getting it wrong all the more Schadenfreuderrific.
It’s like I said a couple years ago. Arrogance and Ignorance are a “absolutely terrible” combination.
That’s how you get someone with an unbroken track record of getting things wrong being so flat-out confident that every prediction and insight she has is on the money. Despite an unbroken record of wrongness, Rachel never takes a moment of self-reflection to figure out why she sucks at her job. She’s incapable of making the simple leap in logic necessary to realize that maybe smugly prognosticating over things isn’t her strong suit.
In short, she’s dumb as post, but so fricken full of herself, she doesn’t know it.
Honestly, how does someone so consistently wrong about everything still have a job?
