Who will Lori Lightfoot take leadership lessons from?

Lori Lightfoot doesn’t want to take leadership lessons from Trump, fine. But clearly she needs to take them from somebody.

As Chicago faces its deadliest summer, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is super angry.

Is she angry about the violence and murder in her streets?

No.  That’s isn’t what’s got her knickers in a knot.

What has her fuming is President Trump mentioning the unchecked violence and murder in the streets of Chicago.

Lori Lightfoot is really angry about that.

In between haircuts and in a snit, Lori angrily tweeted “I don’t need leadership lessons from Donald Trump.”

Oh, okay, Lori. You mind if I call you Lori? Or do you prefer Sméagol?

But if you won’t take leadership lessons from him, tell me, who will you take leadership lessons from?  Because clearly you could use a few lessons.

Maybe next time you go get your hair styled, you could mull it over and get back to us.

Perhaps if Lori wasn’t busy sending Chicago Police into a church to corral those disobedient worshipers for violating her Stay at Home order, she could have them get control of these violent neighborhoods.

Prioritizing violent crime over scofflaws is something a real leader understands implicitly.

But see, in this day and age when the quickest, easiest route to national exposure and notoriety is to attack President Trump, Lori would rather take that quick, easy road than to actually, you know, learn how to be the leader of a city.

The sad fact is, enough people fall for the “Look everybody! I just owned Trump on Twitter” deflection tactic that, despite Lori Lightfoot’s incompetence and misplaced priorities, she’ll most certainly get a pass for overseeing one of Chicago’s deadliest summers — all the while gaining new Resistance😂 fans on social media.

It’s what Gretchen Whitmer did.

It’s what that foolish Mayor of Seattle did.

Democrats are notorious for taking the path of least resistance. Which, when you get right down to it, is kind of ironic.

Leadership is no longer expected of those elected to lead so long as they talk smack about Trump.
