Seattle is run by a capitulating appeaser
As Seattle devolves into Mogadishu, Mayor Jenny Durkan is too busy bashing Trump to lift a finger to stop it.
I lived in Seattle for about nine months back in the late eighties. I was still a Liberal Democrat back then, and even I thought the people in Seattle were nuts.
Apparently that nuttiness has only gotten worse over the intervening years.
A portion of downtown Seattle has been taken over by radical Leftists and the foolish clown mayor is totally okay with it.
In fact, she thinks they’re patriots.
The police were forced to board up and evacuate their own precinct. A radical socialist city council member unlocked the doors to city hall and let the lunatics overrun what was already an asylum.
911 calls from the overrun area relating to rape, robbery and assault have tripled.
But for Seattle Mayor Jenny Chamberlain … oops, sorry … I mean Jenny Durkan, this is just one great big patriotic block party – Seattle’s own Summer of Love.

Where in Lucifer’s reach does the First Amendment protect anyone’s “right” to illegally occupy property, set up roving bands of vigilantes, or shake down local business owners to pay tribute to them?
What is wrong with this woman?
It doesn’t surprise me that Chris Cuomo responded by saying, “I understand your sentiment.” After all, he’s the same blithering idiot who said, “Please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful.”
Maybe Chris thinks the First Amendment does protect the “right” to rape, rob and assault people. He isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Given how insane Seattle residents already were in the eighties, this kind of “aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the show?” cognitive dissonance doesn’t shock me too much.
But I expect a Mayor to have a better grasp on reality.
Then again, lacking a grasp on reality just might be a requirement to run for office in Seattle. Who knows?
She is a proud member of the Resistance😆 — so hyper-focused on Bad Orange Man that she can only see things through the lens of “owning Trump.”
Listen, Seattle. If you elect a dingbat like Jenny

As I said last week, when you have a leadership vacuum, something is going to fill that void.
Jenny Durkan has created a leadership vacuum. Which is why an aspiring rapper armed with a Kalashnikov has now declared himself King of what Jack Posobiec calls Antifastan.
But because Durkan is a feckless, appeasing fool, rather than seek to regain control of the city she supposedly runs, she waxes nonsensically about a Summer of Love and Patriotism while taking nasty swipes at President Trump.
You break it, you buy it, Seattle. She’s all yours.
There is another part of me, however, that is not so cavalier about the breakdown of civic order in Seattle.
As the cascading riots of last week showed us, these things do not remain contained. And, sadly, there are far too many capitulating appeasers leading Democrat-run cities in America.
If Mayor Durkan lets this continue, these radicals will become emboldened. Other cities, run by equally feckless mayors, are going to see the same thing happen to them.
Radical anarchists like Antifa and far-Left Marxist groups like Black Lives Matter want make this country ungovernable.
And they won’t have to exert much effort to get there. Not when major American cities are governed by reckless fools like Mayor Jenny Durkan who happily give them a helpful assist.
All to defeat Trump in November.
