Beware the Enemy Within
Article by Susan Stamper Brown in "Townhall":
If you think the toppling of statues, vicious attacks on innocent Americans, and destruction of cities across the U.S. is temporary, think again.
Whether it’s Antifa, Black Lives Matter, or whoever, these anarchists have an agenda. The Washington Times reported June 3, 2020 that law enforcement discovered Antifa planned an anti-government insurgency long before George Floyd was killed. Though the media portrays them as mere protesters, experts say the group is fighting for a communist revolution.
Recently, Fox News’ Martha MacCallum asked Greater New York Black Lives Matter leader Hawk Newsome “What exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?” Newsome responded, “I said, if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right? And I could be speaking…figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”
An interpretation may not be necessary, given peaceful George Floyd protests quickly morphed into what normal people might call domestic terrorism as defined by 18 U.S. Code 2331: “Activities that involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States…to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction…”
A 2015 video surfaced with Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors admitting she and co-founder Alicia Garza are “trained Marxists.” During a recent appearance on CNN, Cullors told Jake Tapper their “goal is to get Trump out” of the White House.
According to Karl Marx, here’s how that happens. First, there’s that revolution Hawke Newsome described on Fox News. Next, a dictatorship gains control over everything, including individual freedom and choices. The government also seizes personal property and wealth. The last phase is a Utopia, which never arrives. Case in point: Venezuela and people eating zoo animals.
During the Bolshevik Revolution, the dictator Vladimir Lenin corruptly rose to power, receiving only 25 percent of votes cast in the November 1917 elections.
A year later, the Bolshevik party renamed itself the Russian Communist Party. Lenin and his communist comrades set Karl Marx’s ideology in place.
Not long after, the Russian Civil War began. It ended in 1922, and the Soviet Union [U.S.S.R.] was birthed. Lenin enacted legislation to steal wealth and land from the upper class, redistributing it to the poor.
Shadowing Marx’s ideology, Lenin initiated a fear campaign known as the “Red Terror.” The end goal was mass-murder, accomplished by Lenin-engineered famines, whereby tens of millions died.
Additionally, millions died in slave labor camps. To silence any opposition, Lenin also executed socialists, the middle class (bourgeoisie), anti-Bolshevik (White Guard) prisoners of war, and Czarist sympathizers.
In 1924, Joseph Stalin replaced Lenin and raised it a notch, purging fellow communists and former Bolshevik comrades.
The peasants resisted, crop production declined, and millions starved. They even shot hungry kids caught stealing corn.
Moreover, the Great Terror of 1936-1939, left millions more executed.
Today, glaringly ignorant social justice warriors glom onto Marxism, despite the fact its adherents killed more than a hundred million people in the last century.
Currently in Seattle, amidst the devastation and destruction, a statue of Vladimir Lenin remains untouched. It highlights the clear and present danger of our time: The enemy dwells within our borders. Let’s pray our leaders protect us before armed citizens feel compelled to act.
I’ll leave you with an excerpt from Abraham Lincoln’s prescient 1838 Lyceum Address:
“While, on the other hand, good men, men who love tranquility, who desire to abide by the laws, and enjoy their benefits, who would gladly spill their blood in the defense of their country; seeing their property destroyed; their families insulted, and their lives endangered; their persons injured; and seeing nothing in prospect that forebodes a change for the better; become tired of, and disgusted with, a Government that offers them no protection; and are not much averse to a change in which they imagine they have nothing to lose. Thus, then, by the operation of this mobocratic spirit, which all must admit, is now abroad in the land, the strongest bulwark of any Government, and particularly of those constituted like ours, may effectually be broken down and destroyed—I mean the attachment of the People. Whenever this effect shall be produced among us; whenever the vicious portion of population shall be permitted to gather in bands of hundreds and thousands burn churches, ravage and rob provision-stores, throw printing presses into rivers, shoot editors, and hang and burn obnoxious persons at pleasure, and with impunity; depend on it, this Government cannot last. By such things, the feelings of the best citizens will become more or less alienated from it; and thus it will be left without friends, or with too few, and those few too weak, to make their friendship effectual. At such a time and under such circumstances, men of sufficient talent and ambition will not be wanting to seize the opportunity, strike the blow, and overturn that fair fabric, which for the last half-century, has been the fondest hope, of the lovers of freedom, throughout the world.”
