15 FBI Agents for a Garage Door Rope

A rope dangling from the garage bay door is not the equivalent of an armed stand-off. You don’t need to deploy 15 FBI agents to “investigate” a rope.

While vandals and radicals swarm our cities and destroy property, Federal law enforcement believed it was a great use of massive manpower to deploy 15 FBI agents to investigate the so-called “noose” in NASCAR Driver Noosie Smollett’s Bubba Wallace’s garage bay at Talledega Speedway.

15 FBI Agents for a garage pulldown rope.

Maybe we need to defund the FBI.

After Quaker Foods decided to get ahead of the Perpetually Offended and rid themselves of the “problematic” Aunt Jemimah, it was reported that the family of the woman who portrayed Aunt Jemimah were not at all happy about the move.

But, see, this is no time for thoughtful, careful, measured responses.  There is only time to reflexively react.

So Quaker Foods, fueled by emotion and fear, made a kneejerk decision.

And so now did the FBI.

This isn’t a bug; it’s a feature.

The purpose of the uprising we’re experiencing here is to make sure saner heads do not prevail.  Black Lives Matter wants people panicked and terrifiedinto making reactionary decisions out of fear of what might happen to them if they do nothing.

And by “people,” I don’t just include regular citizens like you and me.  Though, we’re certainly are a target.

It also includes members of Congress, the White House, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A rope dangling from the garage bay door is not the equivalent of an armed stand-off.  You don’t need to deploy 15 FBI agents to “investigate” a rope.  And anyone who has not shelved common sense in favor of appeasing the violent mob understands that.

But the FBI shelved common sense years ago.

Has anyone been arrested for vandalizing LaFayette Square, St. John’s Church or the statue of Andrew Jackson?  Those were Federal crimes.  And by “crimes” I mean actual on-the-books crimes, not “crime” as in “golly, the loop at the end of this garage door pulldown looks like a noose.”

It makes zero sense to send 15 FBI agents to stand around holding their dicks while one of them ascertains what the so-called “noose” actually is.

But in the face of a violent, howling mob backed up by their Public Relations firm in the American news media, both NASCAR and the FBI acted reflexively.

“We have to be seen really taking this seriously!!! Even if it is the single stupidest waste of law enforcement time in the history of the FBI.”

The Orlando nightclub shooter was on the Bureau’s radar long before he slaughtered nearly fifty people at the Pulse Nightclub. They didn’t have time for him. But they can send 15 FBI agents to check out a hoax hate crime.

It’s laughably absurd.

But actual violence by deranged Leftists always takes a back seat to the hoax “violence” supposedly perpetrated by the frothing-at-the-mouth White Supremacists who exist only in the fevered minds of the Left.

In her 2011 book Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America, Ann Coulter writes an entire chapter about the imaginary violence from the Right versus actual violence from the Left. Guess which one gets all the attention?

This phenomenon isn’t new.

Politicians, the media, the loudmouths in Hollywood amplify the silliest, most absurd things as “proof” of how violent the Right is.

“That boy in the MAGA hat was smirking at a poor, brave Vietnam Veteran Native American!!!!”

“Did you see that woman behind Kavanaugh flashing the White Power OK sign?!”

“Trump said ‘Kung Flu!!!’ That monstrous racist!! He is dividing the country!!!!”

“OMG! That garage door pull is a noose!!!! This is a hate crime!!!!”

But Leftists swarm the streets, set fire to buildings, attack people in their cars, vandalize property, shoot and kill people, and it’s a Block Party – a new Summer of Love.

Or, as Andrew Cuomo said of the violence from these vandals just yesterday, “It’s a healthy expression.”

And clearly the FBI agrees.  Which is why, as Tucker Carlson pointed out last night, after weeks of violence and destruction, so few people have actually been charged with a crime.

But call the loop at the end of a garage door pulldown rope a “noose” and the so-called Premiere Law Enforcement Agency in the World deploys 15 FBI agents to get to the bottom of it.

As I said last July in my column “Imaginary Violence:”

It shouldn’t come as a galloping shock to anyone that the reason the Left has to turn innocuous things like hats, beverages and hand gestures into some venal “sign” of rampant white supremacy is because, well, there is no rampant white supremacy.

But they’re keeping the dream alive.

Which explains why they are willing to believe every single solitary hate crime hoax that comes over the transom.

When you can’t find any actual violence, imaginary violence will do in a pinch.

We all knew this was coming in the lead-up to the 2020 Presidential election.

Last year, in her column “The White Supremacist Bogeyman,” Julie Kelly nailed exactly what’s behind the promotion of this imaginary violence:

This is a cynical ploy to peel away Republicans voters who are uneasy or nervous about being labeled “hateful” in 2020—those voters who would find it socially awkward to be associated with “them.”

Is Julie clairvoyant?  No.  It’s just that the Left isn’t particularly inventive or original.

This is all about November.

And they are going to throw everything they have at this phony baloney “White Supremacy,” “America is an inherently racist society” claptrap every day from now until the election.

Are you at all surprised that the same FBI that attempted to undermine Donald Trump in 2016 would play along with this game by ignoring the actual violence by the Left that’s happening daily while sending 15 FBI agents to investigate a garage door pulldown?

I’m not.

It doesn’t surprise me in the least.
