Tedros the Slogan-Spewing Slug

It really is disgusting to watch this idiot cloak himself in sanctimony as if he, and not the millions infected, is the victim of this pandemic.

Over the last couple weeks, the World Health Organization’s director, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’s Twitter feed has been chock full of vacuous slogans — all written without irony from the man who stood by the ChiCom’s side and helped cover up a pandemic.

Wait. This one is my all-time favorite:

Hmm.  Where have we heard that before?

China’s little lickspittle can burp out all the silly slogans he wants; it doesn’t change the fact that the World Health Organization is far more focused on covering for the Chinese Communist Party than anything having to do with “world health.”

Slogan-spewing Tedros has crawled so far up President’s Xi’s ass, the ChiCom leader craps dandruff.

And now he wants to pretend he’s some noble, virtuous do-gooder while tweeting out Kumbaya messages like “stronger together,” “solidarity” and “hope?”
Is he serious?

What an unbelievable hypocrite this guy is.

Last week, in her column “WHO Are You? A Pattern of Deceit at the World Health Organization,” Rachel Bovard dismantles the incompetent sloganeer and his cozy, harmful relationship with China. And it is brutal.

In every possible way, the WHO failed to track, identify, and prepare for COVID-19, despite ample opportunity and evidence. They were helped along by the duplicity and outright lies of the Chinese government, whose false claims the WHO took at face value.

The timeline Bovard outlines is damning – both for the CCP and its obedient lapdog Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The WHO’s problems didn’t begin with the Wuhan virus.  The blundering incompetence of this organization – and Tedros specifically – precedes this pandemic — as Bovard explains in excruciating detail:

Uncritically kowtowing to Communist regimes and being unprepared in the face of global health threats, unfortunately, is expected behavior from the World Health Organization.  During the Ebola outbreak in 2014, the WHO again was charged with “egregious failure” in preventing any serious containment of the viral spread, and in fact stole months of preparation from the rest of the world. A specialist panel convened to examine the WHO’s response called it “late, feeble and uncoordinated.”

A U.S. inspector general’s review at the Department of Health and Human Services found the WHO “did not declare the epidemic an emergency until the epidemic had significantly expanded in West Africa,” slowing the global response.

Tedros himself stands accused of covering up three cholera epidemics in his home country of Ethiopia and in Sudan. He allegedly failed to classify outbreaks of the disease properly in order to avoid embarrassing either country.

A group of American doctors blasted Tedros in 2017 for failing to investigate the outbreaks, calling his silence “reprehensible” and labeling him “fully complicit in the terrible suffering and dying that continues to spread.” Bradley Thayer and Lianchao Han recently opined that “Tedros is not fit to lead the WHO.”

In 2017, Tedros named Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe a “good-will ambassador” to the WHO, saying he was “honored” to be joined by Mugabe, and hoped Mugabe could use the role “to influence his peers in the region.” Human rights groups called the appointment “a sick joke” and said the move “embarrasses WHO and Dr. Tedros.” Mugabe is accused of overseeing the deaths of at least 20,000 of his countrymen.

The WHO itself has also been the subject of criticism for how they spend their $2 billion annual budget. In 2017 internal documents revealed the organization spent $200 million on luxury travel—far more than it spent combating AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined. In 2019, a congressional report alleged that the WHO was complicit in colluding with Purdue Pharma, the maker of oxycontin, to boost international opioid sales and profits.

I think we’ve zeroed in on why this sloganeering slug never tweeted out the word “competence.”

I get it.

The WHO depends on American taxpayers to fund all its luxury travel, and the President of the United States has turned off the spigot.

And just like the ChiComs, Tedros knows the best way to manipulate the West into siding with WHO against President Trump is by exploiting our garbage PC culture — not to mention Trump Derangement.

China did this by playing up the “It’s RACIST!!!” nonsense.  And the WHO’s corrupt, incompetent director is doing it by painting himself and the WHO as the noble Victim unfairly “attacked” by Bad Old Orange Man.

It really is disgusting to watch this idiot cloak himself in sanctimony as if he, and not the millions infected, is the victim of this pandemic.

It’s craven and mendacious propaganda.

Yet because he knows how to play into the Victim Culture and Trump Derangement, the American news media and idiot celebrities are bending over backward to defend the World Health Organization.

We owe the WHO nothing.  Not respect, not attention, and certainly not our money.

So let this sanctimonious sloganeer burp out his vacuous twaddle.

He and China aren’t the victim; they’re the perp.

And all the inspirational words in the world doesn’t change that.
