Hillary Rejoins the DNC’s Wars Against the Roses

Just as the smoldering war between Warren and Bernie’s red rose army begins to settle down, Hillary rushes onto the battlefield to reignite the fire.

It’s clear now that Team Warren’s leak to CNN over a thirteen-month old private conversation between her and Bernie was just the opening salvo in what can only be described as yet another battle in the Democrat Party’s Wars Against the Roses.

Not to be confused with the Wars of the Roses.

Though, both wars have a lot in common.

Each was a struggle for power between two sides of the same family.

The Wars of the Roses were between two factions of the Plantagenets (it’s history, look it up).

While the Wars Against the Roses are between two factions of the Democrat Party.

The Establishment Democrats and the news media, hope to prevent an uprising from the “rose in my Twitter handle” Sandernista Democrat Socialists who wish to put the usurper Bernie Sanders on the throne.

Like the Wars of the Roses, this struggle has been going on for years.

In 2016 it came to a head when the usurper Sanders attempted to wrest the crown from the Democrats’ chosen candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But in addition to the entire DNC infrastructure, Queen Hillary had an army of “journalists” and “reporters” who followed her every command.

As a result, Sanders was woefully outgunned.

Despite their brief rally at the Battle of WikiLeaks Field, Sanders’ red-rose army could not stop the Queen Clinton juggernaut.  And in late July 2016, at a coronation in Philadelphia, Hillary Clinton was crowned the Democrat nominee.

But like King Edward the Fourth and the York Plantagenets, Bernie Sanders and his red-rose army refused to give up their quest for the crown.

(Yes, I know the Yorks were the white rose, but still.)

And here we are in 2020 and the Wars Against the Roses is heating up again.

The Establishment Democrats and the media are once again battling to keep the usurper off the throne in favor of another preferred candidate.

So it probably doesn’t come as a surprise that Hillary, the Dowager Queen of the Establishment, has decided to reenter the fray.

Hillary’s battle scars from the 2016 Wars Against the Roses have never properly healed.  She still blames the usurper Sanders for preventing her from achieving the ultimate goal of the White House.

And though she has no love for Elizabeth Warren, Hillary’s hatred for Bernie and his red-rose army goes much, much deeper.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter yesterday, Hillary led a charge against both the usurper and his red-rose army.

In the doc, you’re brutally honest on Sanders: “He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.” That assessment still hold?

Yes, it does.

If he gets the nomination, will you endorse and campaign for him?

I’m not going to go there yet. We’re still in a very vigorous primary season. I will say, however, that it’s not only him, it’s the culture around him. It’s his leadership team. It’s his prominent supporters. It’s his online Bernie Bros and their relentless attacks on lots of his competitors, particularly the women. And I really hope people are paying attention to that because it should be worrisome that he has permitted this culture — not only permitted, [he] seems to really be very much supporting it. And I don’t think we want to go down that road again where you campaign by insult and attack and maybe you try to get some distance from it, but you either don’t know what your campaign and supporters are doing or you’re just giving them a wink and you want them to go after Kamala [Harris] or after Elizabeth [Warren]. I think that that’s a pattern that people should take into account when they make their decisions.

You know now that I think about it, Hillary Clinton is a lot like King Henry the Sixth whom Edward the Fourth defeated to claim the crown.  Like the addled Plantagenet Henry VI, Hillary is not all there.

At the same time, she’s also like Henry’s vicious wife Margaret of Anjou.  That woman was a monstrous bitch who tended to murder her enemies (so you can understand why I see a resemblance).

What I can’t figure out is whether the rest of the Establishment Democrats really want this mad, angry Dowager Queen anywhere near this current battle.

The schism between the two warring factions was already smoldering thanks to CNN stabbing Bernie in the back last week. Do they really want Hillary the Sixth of Anjou stumbling into the middle of it and tossing gasoline on the fire?

But since when has Hillary let the good of the Democrat Party get in the way of her bitter, angry bile?

It’s almost as if Hillary would rather burn the whole damn party down and let Trump win than put an end to this bitter War Against the Roses.

And if that’s the case, stock up on popcorn, folks. Cuz it’s gonna get uglier.
