J Edgar Comey

J Edgar Hoover: “Nobody is as corrupt as me!”
James Comey: “Hold my beer!”

If, as the Democrats love, love, LOVE to tell us, nobody is above the law, then I’m going to go out on a limb and say that that includes J Edgar Comey – the self-satisfied, pious prick who ran Obama’s Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Furthermore, if Americans should not tolerate any government interfering in our free and fair elections, then I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this should include the United States Government and it’s FBI.

What J Edgar Comey did was meddle in our 2016 election by targeting and spying on one of the two Presidential nominees.  And he did so by knowingly lying to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court by passing off debunked campaign oppo research as “evidence” to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.
And yes, it was spying.  In fact, it was illegal spying.

What’s worse is Comey laid the groundwork for a bogus Special Council investigation, countless House hearings and shampeachment that have undermined Trump’s presidency, shaken our faith in our institutions, and cost the American taxpayers tens of millions of dollars.

And it was all based on lies.

What’s absolutely stunning to me is how the Washington Post permitted J Edgar Comey to pen an op-ed on Monday claiming he and his cabal of election meddlers were vindicated.

J Edgar tweeted out his sack of crap WaPo piece with this message:

“So it was all lies. No treason. No spying. No tapping Trumps [sic] wires. It was just good people trying to protect America.”

Comey wrote that tweet at 3:30 pm on Monday.  The article was written, submitted and published prior to that time (obviously). And yet the Inspector General’s report was only made public a couple of hours beforehand.

Do you think J Edgar Comey read all four hundred-plus pages of that report before writing this op-ed vindicating himself?

Of course not.

Hell, I’m certain his op-ed was written before the report was even released.

This wasn’t Comey commenting on the report.  This was nothing more than yet another disinformation campaign in a long string of disinformation campaigns from a crooked, venal piece of crap who believes he is above the law.

And yet the Washington Post permitted it to run.

I wonder if J Edgar Hoover got that kind of aerial support from the press.

Though I know why J Edgar Comey got that kind of support.

The Washington Post has been flogging the RussiaGate hoax for three years. Their reporters accepted illegally-leaked information from members of Comey’s cabal.  And they promoted and defended this egregious attempt to destroy Donald Trump’s candidacy and then his presidency over garbage oppo research paid for by the Clinton campaign.

Garbage oppo research that, by the way, J Edgar Comey knew way back in January 2017 was garbage.

And yet in 2018, J Edgar Comey was still pretending that this so-called Steele dossier was legit.

And at yesterday’s hearing all Comey’s lies were most emphatically exposed.

But, see, Comey knows that the press and more importantly the TDS-addled ResistanceLOL will believe every word that comes out of his duplicitous mouth.

He knows he can lie to them, even as his lies are exposed, and they will continue to believe him.

J Edgar Comey is not a straight-shooter. He is not a noble, honorable man.

He is a bad guy who has done untold damage to the FBI and to Americans’ trust in our institutions.

If there is one writer who has expertly covered Comey’s flagrant abuse of authority, it is Julie Kelly of American Greatness.  And her column last night, “James Comey’s War on America” is absolutely spot-on.

Here’s a bit of what she writes:

Comey did not just sabotage a presidential candidate, his transition team, and his new administration to remind Donald Trump who’s boss. Comey did not just try to oust a duly-elected president from the Oval Office based on made-up “memos” he wrote to document the president’s alleged criminality.

James Comey didn’t just help launch his pal Robert Mueller’s destructive two-year probe into the imaginary crime of Russian “collusion.”

No, James Comey, in fact, declared war on America.

That is not hyperbole. Through his deeds and words, the highest lawman in the country single-handedly desecrated every essential rule of American jurisprudence, every individual protection provided by the Constitution—including the right of the people to choose their president—and every governmental boundary set by the Constitution, not to mention the courtesies of human decency.

Comey took some sort of sick pleasure in gaslighting an already dangerously divided electorate after the shocking victory of a man who not only is despised by his former boss, Barack Obama, but by Comey himself, his top deputies in the FBI, and his cronies in the Justice Department, State Department, and CIA.

Comey betrayed the long-standing trust the American people have in our nation’s most powerful law enforcement agency to feed his insatiable ego. He disguised his megalomania as patriotism.

And he’s still disguising his megalomania as patriotism.  Look again at that quote above from Comey’s tweet.

“It was good people trying to protect America.”

What nonsense.

It was James Comey abusing his power to destroy a presidential candidate. And when he failed to stop Trump’s election, he continued to abuse his power to destroy his Presidency.

I said back in August that J Edgar Comey’s higher loyalty is to himself. And this week I think that was proven right.

If this corrupt, venal criminal is allowed to get away with what he did, there is no Justice in America.

We will know without question that some people are, in fact, above the law.

And the press, not to mention many Democrats in Congress, are completely fine with that.
