This would be ballgame...

Democrats are busy building strawmen while President Trump is building an economy that is lifting people out of unemployment, putting more money in their pockets and improving their lives.

I said the other day that if Democrats don’t get
90% or more of the black vote, it’ll be ballgame.

Which explains why the 2020 primary candidates are desperately trying to woo them.

From Pete Buttigieg’s desperate attempt to improve his abysmal polling among blacks in South Carolina by fudging the so-called “support” for his Douglass Plan to Liz Warren appearing in Atlanta to recount the history of racism while peddling Reparations to Kamala’s phony home-girl persona to Joe Biden claiming that he “comes out of the black community.”

It really is kind of embarrassing if you want to know the truth.

And up against President Trump’s economic turnaround, it doesn’t look like it’s working.

Last night Rasmussen tweeted this:

I’m thinking this would be ballgame.

Don’t underestimate just how nervous the Democrats are that Trump is polling so well among blacks.  Sure, they might dismiss it and claim these polls are outliers and not accurate.  But that’s wishful thinking.

For decades the Democrats have assumed that they would walk away with a minimum of 90% of the black vote.  They thought it was guaranteed.

Now they just might have to work for it.

In fact, I’m thinking these polling numbers from Rasmussen and Emerson closely match the Democrat Party’s own internal polling.

Let’s be honest.  If the Democrats fully expected their usual 90% or more of the black vote in 2020 would their candidates be pandering so hard to win them over?

I don’t think so.  These embarrassing efforts stink of desperation.

But how do you compete against a sitting President who has ushered in the lowest black unemployment rate in history?

Well, I can tell you how you don’t do it.

You don’t flog Reparations or continue to perpetrate the lunatic conspiracy theory that Stacey Abrams is the real Governor of Georgia.

But this is what they’re doing – as if black voters don’t care about the same kinds of things every other American cares about.

And Americans care about kitchen table issues like jobs, more money in their pockets, rising wages, low taxes – you know, all the things President Trump is delivering on.

If you’re pinning your hopes on flogging sore loser Stacey Abrams, you’re losing the ballgame.

If you’re fearmongering over “White Supremacy” and “Institutional Racism” rather than addressing actual, real life issues, you’re losing the ballgame.

Democrats are busy building strawmen while President Trump is building an economy that is lifting people out of unemployment, putting more money in their pockets and improving their lives.

This is the key.  This is the whole ballgame.

And the Democrat candidates cannot compete against a President who is actually delivering results.

Truth is, if even half of that 34% vote for Trump in 2020, the Democrats are screwed.

But if the Democrat nominee is Liz Warren or Pete Buttigieg, I’m thinking Trump just might reach that 34% — no matter how many times Ayanna Pressley rushes in to save Liz Warren from herself.
