Prayerful Poll Testing
After poll testing, Democrats changed the crime they’re accusing Trump of. But don’t worry. This isn’t political. It is prayerful and patriotic!
Yesterday we learned that the Democrats have changed their accusation against President Trump from quid-pro-quo to Bribery.
Was it because new evidence of an actual crime was discovered?
Hahahahaha! No.
The change came after poll testing showed that voters in 2020 Battleground States didn’t get hopped up over quid-pro-quo. Whereas the word “bribery” resonates better.
How could this be?
I mean, Nancy told us that their decision to impeach was prayerful. Why just considering impeachment hurt them more than it hurt Trump. And it was only after prayerful, patriotic soul-searching that Democrats came to the painful, awful realization that they must, MUST impeach the President.
Apparently they were praying to the Great God of Poll Testing.
The news of this change came on the very day that Nancy Pelosi once again went before reporters and waved the flag like Yankee Doodle Dandy and told the press “Impeaching Trump is not about politics; it’s about patriotism.”
So pay no attention to the poll testing we’re doing to find the perfect “crime” that will sell well in 2020 battleground states. It’s about PATRIOTISM!! PRAYERFUL patriotism!
Nancy thinks you’re stupid.
If you’re doing poll testing of voters to find the perfect “crime” that will resonate with them, there’s nothing prayerful about this.
As the dimwitted AOC admitted on CNN the other night, “And so this is not just about something that has occurred, this is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year.”
The only relation to prayer that this Impeachment push has is this:
Democrats know they don’t have a prayer against President Trump in 2020 unless they can oust him through impeachment.
Does anyone outside of the DC/NYC bubble actually, genuinely believe that the Democrats have just cause to impeach?
To be fair, the people within the bubble know it’s bullshit too. But they hate Trump so much, they’re eager to play along.
If your strategy is first decide to impeach, then do poll testing to see which crime resonates best in battleground states, then try and find a way to jigger the testimony to fit the poll-tested “crime,” this isn’t a prayerful or patriotic endeavor in the least.
And it certainly isn’t the Constitutional purpose of impeachment.
It astonishes me that idiot Well-I-Never-Trumpers like Jonah Goldberg and David French are falling for this garbage.
I expect the rabid ResistanceLOL to lap this up like a big, dumb dog. But those guys – those so-called “principled” conservatives – are too.
“Don’t call this a coup!” They bellow as they clutch their pearls and shriek “Well, I never!”
“The Congress is doing its Constitutional duty to impeach! How dare you call it a coup!”
How can anyone be this obtuse?
If the Democrats in Congress are using poll testing to decide what crime to accuse Trump of, rather than pointing to an actual crime Trump actually committed, this is an abuse of the impeachment process.
This is the Democrat Party using the impeachment clause as opposition research and a political hit-job ahead of the 2020 election.
They’re poll testing to see what “crime” plays best in the battleground states, for crap’s sake. How could anyone take this garbage shampeachment seriously?
Nancy Pelosi’s crocodile tears as she cynically lies to the American people while burping out words like “prayerful” and “patriotism” are insulting – not to mention perverse.
But let round two of the public hearings begin. This time with the former ambassador to Ukraine who has already been coached to turn on the waterworks in order to pull at America’s heartstrings.
I’m guessing poll testing shows crying is a winner.
