The Climate Cult
Well, knock on wood. I have maintained internet connection all morning thus far. Though I’m probably jinxing it by talking about it. You don’t realize just how much you depend on the internet until it keeps crapping out on you.
Yesterday, while I kept waiting for my internet to come back up, I put together some ‘Shop images in hopes of doing a post about the Climate Cult.
I got inspired after I read Kurt Schlichter’s latest column “’Climate Change’ is a Hoax.”
If you want to watch the True Believers of the Climate Cult go insane, just talk about what a scam “Climate Change” is.
They go nutty.
A couple years ago, I wrote a column about the Climate Cult titled “Believers and Heretics.”
Here’s just a smidge:
Man-made Climate Change is not based on the scientific method. It isn’t science. Rather, it is a Dogma — articles of faith away from which nobody is permitted to veer.
It demands of its adherents complete fealty without question, skepticism or doubt.
That’s not science. Inherent is science is skepticism and doubt. In fact, skepticism is the cornerstone of the scientific method.
But for the Climate Change adherents, there can be no skepticism. You are not permitted to question the dogma.
You must simply believe.
And if you do not, you are labeled a heretic.
In much the same way Queen Mary enacted her Heresy Acts, California and New York State have considered prosecuting non-believers – or as they call them “Deniers.”
Now, to be fair, neither California nor New York State are considering burning heretics at the stake.
But I suspect that has more to do with a fear that those burnings would release carbon into our atmosphere than any desire to be civilized.
Nobody has exploited the Climate Cult as fully as the Democrat Party. Now, I don’t think they are True Believers. In fact, I’m sure they’re not. Rather, they see the Cult of Climate Change is an ideal way to amass power and control over the people.
Liz Warren doesn’t “believe.” But she’s smart enough to know that pushing “Climate Change” is an effective method of centralizing power and putting the people under her heel.
Then there’s the Pontiff of the Climate Cult – Pete Buttigieg.
What Pete does is fuse the Climate Cult to his unique brand of “Christianity” (which, oddly enough, bears little resemblance to, you know, Christianity).
For the insufferable Pontiff Pete, it isn’t enough to simply tell “Climate Deniers” that they must believe in the Climate Cult or be labeled heretics. No. Pope Insufferable claims that all good Christians must be communicant members of the Climate Cult in order to be good Christians.
I’ve said before the Pete Buttigieg fancies himself God’s prophet. From the minimum wage to abortion to the Climate Cult, Pontiff Pete is God’s anointed on earth. And if you do not toe the line with Pete’s politics, you are sinners.
Any old how.
After posting his column yesterday, Kurt Schlitchter got hammered by congregants of the First Church of the Climate Cult. They went completely nuts.
Who can blame them? It is their religion after all. And committing the sin of mocking their faith never goes over well.
From Schlichter’s column:
Understand that the term “climate change” does not refer to actual meteorological phenomena but, rather, to the sordid rat-king of lies, scams and power grabs that we are commanded to accept as pagan gospel lest we burn to a crisp or drown or suffer…whatever the Armageddon du jour is. When you say “climate change is a grift,” and you should as often as possible, you are pointing out that this green-on-the-outside/red-on-the-inside fake frenzy is really just a set of intertwined grifts transparently designed to separate you from your freedom and your property in the name of somehow adjusting the weather.
The Climate Cult demands that it be immune to common sense, critical thinking, skepticism and doubt.
Why do you think Pontiff Pete tries to spin it as disappointing God?
And why do you think they use an autistic child as their Patron Saint?
Like the Parkland teens, Greta Thunberg is deployed to preach the gospel of Climate Catastrophe in hopes that nobody would dare argue or disagree with a child.
You should see the reactions on Twitter when someone dares to question Saint Greta. Holy moly, the Climate Cult goes bat-crap crazy.
The whole reason for shoving this autistic kid into the spotlight is so they can shriek, “How dare you attack this poor autistic kid!”
Greta isn’t just the Patron Saint of the Climate Cult; she is their human shield.
If the Climate Cult really was interested in facts and science, they would not cravenly deploy a child as a human shield in order to shut down debate.
But then again, the politicians who push “Climate Change” don’t care about facts or science. If they did, they wouldn’t argue that “science” has “proven” that manmade Climate Change is true and the only way to “solve” it is to deprive Americans of their liberty, property and economic prosperity.
And despite what that insufferable Pontiff Pete might say, they really don’t give two craps about God either.
No. All they care about is power and control.
While there are members of the Climate Cult who are, in fact, True Believers, the politicians pushing it are not. But they know the benefit of treating Climate Change as a cult.
After all, what better way to bring the people into submission than appeal to their innate need to connect with something greater than themselves?
And what better way to prevent people from offering any reasoned dissent to their Stalinist takeover of the government than by deploying a child as a human shield?
It’s craven and cynical. But then again, that pretty much sums up the modern-day Democrat Party.
The Democrats see the Cult of “Climate Change” as their ticket to power.
So confident are they that Americans will happily vote for someone who vows to destroy their quality of life and their economic prosperity in order to appease the Weather Gods, that the 2020 candidates are brazenly promoting policies that will do just that.
But saying the quiet parts out loud never ends well for Democrats.
As always, they are pushing too hard and too far.
And I can’t help but wonder if their brazen, no-holds-barred call to send the United States back to the stone age becomes the very thing that deprograms the sheep-like believers in the Climate Cult.
