It’s long overdue, but it looks like our overlords at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are finally following the science and admitting that there may be very serious side effects to the COVID vaccines they pushed on the American people. The vaccine in question is the Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech shot, and the CDC acknowledges that a “safety signal” has been triggered regarding an increased risk of ischemic stroke in people aged 65 and older.
Mayo Clinic defines an ischemic stroke as one that “occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted or reduced, preventing brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrients. Brain cells begin to die in minutes. A stroke is a medical emergency, and prompt treatment is crucial. Early action can reduce brain damage and other complications.”
It is clearly a very serious medical emergency, one that might have been identified had the unholy alliance of big pharma and big government bothered to take more time to thoroughly test the vaccines before unleashing them on vulnerable populations (and, let’s face it, we all might be vulnerable when it comes to the clot shot).
In a statement released Friday, with a laughable intro claiming transparency and vaccine safety are their “top priorities,” the CDC admitted:
Following the availability and use of the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines, CDC’s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a near real-time surveillance system, met the statistical criteria to prompt additional investigation into whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent. Rapid-response investigation of the signal in the VSD raised a question of whether people 65 and older who have received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent were more likely to have an ischemic stroke in the 21 days following vaccination compared with days 22-44 following vaccination.
The CDC noted that this safety concern has not arisen over the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent.
Some may find this admission from the CDC a refreshing moment of honesty, and perhaps it is a step in the right direction. But there remain very serious concerns that citizens were forced to get a jab that hadn’t been thoroughly researched, and we’re just now seeing the consequences. How many people 65+ would have willingly gotten the vaccine knowing that there was a risk of ischemic stroke? Not many. But then again, prominent voices in the public health care space (paging Dr. Fauci!) repeatedly painted a bleak scenario for seniors, leaving many with the faustian/Faucian choice of dying now of COVID or dealing later with unknown vaccine-related complications.
“Later” has arrived, but “full transparency” is still on the tarmac waiting to take off. Americans know they were fed a bill of goods when it came to the vaccines, and many are left questioning the rash of “unexplained deaths” that seem to be blanketing the news every day. An incurious media only exacerbates the problem by not asking questions of our public health officials, further endangering citizens who still don’t have the answers they need to make informed decisions about the vaccines.
And this is exactly why Ron DeSantis’ efforts to investigate the vaccine nightmare are so welcome. We recently reported that DeSantis is “joining forces with Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo to go after mRNA vaccine manufacturers such as Pfizer for misleading about the efficacy of their vaccines, leading to overbearing, needless public mandates.” DeSantis said of vaccine manufacturers, “They made claims about the mRNA vaccine that wasn’t true, and people were injured as a result.”
As goes Florida, hopefully goes the entire nation. There are enough “safety concerns” and “unexplained deaths” to warrant some serious scrutiny and long-delayed accountability.
And, despite identifying a significant potential side effect to the Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, the CDC concluded today: “No change in vaccination practice is recommended.”
