In Terms of Kamala

Checking in with Kamala’s recent remarks to see if she’s still peppering her word salads with her favorite phrase, and she is.

I thought I might do a little update on Kamala in terms of her favorite go-to ingredient in terms of her word salads.

As I pointed out a while ago, when speaking extemporaneously, Kamala has a favorite phrase she uses a lot. Like “A LOT” a lot. Sometimes, she does a double-shot of her favorite phrase in a single sentence. That’s how much she uses it.

This morning, I saw this clip from Tuesday:

Hahahaha! She’s just the gift that keeps on giving.

Anyroad.

Although that clip doesn’t include Kamala’s favorite phrase, the stupidity of her response did inspire me to check in on Kamala’s recent remarks chronicled for posterity at the White House website to see if she’s still peppering her word salads with her favorite phrase.

And she is.

On Monday, while introducing the Biden administration’s plan to ease the burden of medical debt on American families, Kamala did the double-shot of her favorite phrase on two occasions.

First at the start of her remarks:

“That really does, Alex — you really hit it on the head IN TERMS OF what is at the very essence of this issue, IN TERMS OF the overlay between the issue of medical care, dignity, and debt — unfair debt — the accumulation of debt that really, in so many ways, paralyzes so many people.”

As I always suggest, read these out loud to yourself to really appreciate how clumsy Kamala is with her words.

Midway through her remarks, Kamala did another double-shot:

“Many more veterans are eligible for debt relief, but the process to apply is often consuming, IN TERMS OF time, and confusing, IN TERMS OF understanding how it works.”

“consuming, in terms of time?”

Has Kamala never heard the phrase “time-consuming?”

She could’ve said, “the process to apply is often time-consuming and confusing” and been done with it.

Sweet merciful Zeus. Why does she always need to make it harder for herself?

On Tuesday, Kamala went to Philly where she explained the importance of unions to the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19:

“It is so fundamental IN TERMS OF the approach, which says that we all know we are stronger when we stand together.”

What now?

Tell me you read that out loud to yourself. Because, wow.

Yesterday, during her remarks welcoming the President of Tanzania to the White House, Kamala went easy on her favorite phrase, only using it twice, but her favorite phrase is surrounded by so much word salad, the whole section must be read out loud in its entirety:

“As, Madam President, you know, the United States feels very strongly that Tanzania is a very important partner.  And we know, of course, and many Americans have appreciated the incredible natural wonders of Tanzania — be it the Serengeti or Mount Kilimanjaro, where many Americans have traveled and come back with stories that have lasted a lifetime IN TERMS OF the memories.

“You, of course, in Tanzania have a vibrant multicultural society, stretching from the savanna of the mainland to the beaches of Zanzibar.

“So, we do appreciate all that Tanzania represents, both historically and IN TERMS OF just the natural beauty of your country.”

Oy, vey.

“As, Madam President, you know?”

“As you know, Madam President” would be the more fluid, natural way of phrasing that. But this is Kamala Harris we’re talking about.

“where many Americans have traveled and come back with stories that have lasted a lifetime” PERIOD!!! She could have stopped there. But no! She has to add the utterly extraneous “in terms of the memories.”

Like a vestigial organ, Kamala’s favorite phrase serves absolutely no purpose in the grand scheme of what she’s trying to say.

Did you read it out loud as I suggested? Did you notice how Kamala’s remarks read like someone who did a quick Google search on Tanzania ten minutes beforehand and is now struggling to remember what she found?

Honestly, everything this woman says sounds like she’s giving an oral book report after only reading the back of the dust jacket.

A while back, it was reported that the Veep’s team wanted to get Kamala out there, doing interviews, making appearances, really selling herself to the American people.

Oddly enough, Team Veep isn’t doing this to secretly sabotage the vapid, verbally challenged Veep. They’re doing it because they think it will boost her public approval.

They’re wrong.

As Rush Limbaugh often said in terms of Hillary Clinton, the more Americans are exposed to Kamala, in terms of seeing her and hearing her speak, the less impressed they are in terms of her.
