Hmmm...seems like more gaseous emissions coming from outta left field
Biden's 'Requirements' to Cut Emissions Could Have a Big Impact on What You Eat
As I wrote earlier, Joe Biden basically said he wasn’t yet comfortable saying that we could get together in “small groups” to celebrate on July 4th.
What utter nerve that he thinks he would have the ability to tell us what to do, and on Independence Day, of all days.
But it sounds like he’s even trying to tell us what we can throw on the grill on July 4th. Hint? It’s not sounding like a lot of meat would be on the menu. But we have to do it now to avoid all those disasters my colleague Brad Slager wrote about on Earth Day Thursday.
Biden wants to cut greenhouse emissions by 50-52% over the next decade, according to the Daily Mail.
That would likely crater the economy in the effort by having to cut fossil fuels back so much.
But on top of all that, according to a study the Mail reported on by Michigan University’s Center for Sustainable Systems, indicates that to meet that goal, Americans might have to cut their red meat consumption by 90% and cut their consumption of other animal-based foods in half.

What would that translate to, in practical application? Americans would need to consume only about four pounds of red meat per year, or 0.18 ounces per day, according to the study. That works out to about one hamburger a month.
If Biden thinks this is happening any time soon, or that he would be able to force this on Americans, he’s got another thing coming.
According to the Daily Mail, studies also suggest that in order to meet the goal, more than half of new cars bought in the United States would need to be electric within the next decade.
Biden claims this plan will create jobs but he doesn’t explain how that would happen.
On the contrary, Matt Coday, who is president of the Oil & Gas Workers Association, said this “would crush small businesses, hurt American workers, and harm all Americans,” according to the Mail piece.
Republicans said that Biden’s plans weren’t sustainable and would wallop Americans with taxes.
“This is quite the one-two punch,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said, the Daily Mail reported. “Toothless requests of our foreign adversaries… and maximum pain for American citizens.”
