This week, House Republicans on the Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis sent five letters to Democratic governors, demanding answers as to why these state leaders ordered nursing homes to admit patients who had tested positive for coronavirus. The House Republicans noted that the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued guidance suggesting that nursing homes should only admit patients if the facility could follow quarantine guidelines.

“Democrats failed our nursing home residents, plain and simple,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) declared in a statement Monday. “Despite clear warnings about exposing nursing homes to this virus, some Democrat governors decided it made more sense to force nursing homes to take in coronavirus patients, which resulted in countless avoidable deaths. The American people deserve to know what informed and motivated these decisions so it doesn’t happen again.”

“The decision of several governors to ignore federal protocols and instead mandate COVID-positive patients be forced back to their nursing homes ended up being a death sentence for tens of thousands of our nation’s most vulnerable citizens,” Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), the ranking member on the committee, said in a statement.

Jordan, Scalise, and their colleagues sent letters to Governors Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.), Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.), Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.), Tom Wolf (D-Pa.), and Phil Murphy (D-N.J.).

Each letter requests “information, at a granular level, about the science and information used to inform your decision to mandate nursing homes and long-term care facilities admit untested and contagious COVID-19 patients from hospitals. This decision likely contributed to the thousands of elderly deaths in [your state].”

The letters quote CMS guidance issued on March 13.

“This guidance does not direct any nursing home to accept a COVID-19 positive patient, if they are unable to do so safely,” the letters note. Indeed, the guidance urges that “nursing homes should admit any individual that they would normally admit to their facility, including individuals from hospitals where a case of COVID-19 was/is present” only if the nursing home can follow” CDC guidance.

CMS Administrator Seema Verma also warned, “Under no circumstances should a hospital discharge a patient to a nursing home that is not prepared to take care of those patients’ needs.”

Yet in each state represented by these governors, nursing homes were mandated not to turn away patients who had tested positive for coronavirus. The New York order came on March 25, the Michigan version on April 15, the California order on March 30, the Pennsylvania version on March 18, and the New Jersey one on March 31. Each came after the CMS guidance and arguably contradicted the spirit of the federal guidance.

According to a study of over 1,000 patients admitted to the hospital with the coronavirus in New York City, over 90 percent contracted the virus from close contact with an infected person, including sheltering at home or contained living situations like in nursing homes and jails.

Each letter noted the fact that coronavirus deaths in each particular state represent a high proportion of that state’s coronavirus deaths.
New York has suffered 6,360 nursing home coronavirus deaths, a number that represents more than 25 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths and more than 4 percent of the state’s nursing home population.

Michigan has suffered 2,297 nursing home coronavirus deaths, a number that represents more than 41 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths and more than 3 percent of the state’s nursing home population. Whitmer has yet to rescind the order.

California has suffered 2,560 nursing home coronavirus deaths, a number that represents more than 50 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths and 1 percent of its nursing home population.

Pennsylvania has suffered 4,268 nursing home coronavirus deaths, a number that represents more than 68 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths and more than 3 percent of its nursing home population.

New Jersey has suffered 6,432 nursing home coronavirus deaths, a number that represents more than 50 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths and more than 10 percent of its nursing home population.

It may be impossible to parse out exactly how many elderly Americans in each of these five states suffered exposure and death due to these deadly orders, but the nursing home policies of Cuomo, Whitmer, Newsom, Wolf, and Murphy certainly contributed to these horrific death tolls.

“We owe it to those who died and their grieving families to get to the bottom of why these deadly decisions were made by these governors,” Scalise said in a statement.

Indeed, these governors owe their citizens an explanation, especially since their orders contradicted the spirit of the CMS guidelines. The Republicans are demanding documentation explaining why these governors made these deadly decisions and the number of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 positive patients returned to a nursing home between the time of the order and the present.

While most media outlets present coronavirus statistics in a misleading way that exaggerates the threat and seems bound to stir panic, the coronavirus threat in nursing homes is very real, and these Democratic governors’s orders are simply unconscionable. These Republicans are right to demand answers, and Democrats should join them.

MAP: See the Destruction the George Floyd Riots Wreaked All Over Minneapolis

 The protests over the police killing of George Floyd devolved into looting, vandalism, and arson across America that destroyed black lives, black livelihoods, and black monuments, and they started where George Floyd died, in Minneapolis. On Wednesday, the city reported that no fewer than 700 buildings were damaged, burned, or destroyed in the riots. It also released a map showing just how widespread the looting, vandalism, and arson spread.

The map breaks down the damage into four categories: cosmetic damage, minor damage, major damage, and wholly destroyed, CBS Local reported.

According to the map, twelve structures were “wholly destroyed” — and these buildings housed multiple businesses.

“This is not just the structures that have been impacted, it’s the community that’s been impacted, and if you take a look at where the destruction has happened, some of it is not because of the uprising, some of it is because people came into the community and tried to terrorize some neighborhoods and set buildings on fire,” explained Erik Hansen, Minneapolis’s director of economic policy and development.

Rioters burned down the very club where George Floyd had worked. They also wreaked havoc on the local community, black and white alike.

Black business owner K.B. Balla broke into tears while recounting the destruction wreaked upon his sports bar in Minneapolis. “I don’t know what I’m gonna do, I worked so hard to get here, so hard,” he said. Balla, a fireman, had invested his life savings into this Scores Sports Bar. The bar had planned its grand opening in the spring but coronavirus lockdowns put it on pause. As a GoFundMe page explains, “Scores Sports Bar was LOOTED, VANDALIZED, and DESTROYED.” Looters cleaned it out, twice, destroying his life’s work.

Thanks to the generosity of Americans, however, this is not the end of Balla’s story.
A GoFundMe campaign for Scores Sports Bar aimed to raise $100,000 to help rebuild the business. It has raised $1,142,720, and more than 37,000 people have contributed.

Yet for every Scores Sports Bar, there are hundreds of businesses that did not receive enough attention to raise $1 million. Cities like Minneapolis will struggle for years to overcome the destruction of these riots. It is absolutely heinous that speaking out about this destruction is considered anathema on the left.

Americans can and should be outraged over the death of George Floyd, but outrage does not justify this kind of destructive violence. Even if the Black Lives Matter narrative were correct, that would not make it okay for rioters to burn down people’s livelihood in the name of reform.

More Trouble in DeBlasio’s New York – NYPD Pulls Officers from DA Offices After Prosecutors Start Releasing Rioters

Not a shocking development with the man who has shown antagonism towards the police.

Between the Covid-19 response and the Black Lives Matter protests/riots, New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio has not fared well. He has been a perpetual source of contradictions and incompetence, making confounding decisions and announcements which agitate. Now he seems to have a self-created conflict within his own justice departments.

The New York Police Department has made the announcement that it will be removing its officers from various district attorneys offices in select Burroughs across the city. This appears to be a reaction to area prosecutors who have moved to not press charges against protestors and rioters who have been arrested over the past weeks.

While the police commissioner announced that the move was not in retaliation it does arrive within the same day of the announcement coming down that prosecutors were not going to pursue legal action against those who violated curfew orders. Following decisions in The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens the announcement from the Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance was notably bothersome to a number of police officials in the city.

“The justice system shouldn’t be the first resort,’’ Vance told the NY Times in a recent interview. “It should be used only when necessary, especially for low-level offenses, which tend to fall on men and women of color and those economically less resourced.”

The Commissioner stated that the move was made in order to dedicate more officers to protest control measures. This of course leads to a cycle of futility; more police on the street could lead to more engagement with protestors, then more arrests, and then more individuals to be turned out by the DA offices.

This new stance is following other moves that have hamstrung the police department over the past few years. After being able to crow about the crime dropping on an annual basis last year saw an increase in crime in the city, as well as a spike in the murder rate. This occurred well before the social unrest we have watched play out over the past month, and the antagonism towards the police countrywide.

Now not only is New York City dealing with calls to defund the police force during a rise in crimes but a feud may be developing between the legal entities in town, all of which is lorded over by a mayor who is under fire and no friend of the cops in town. This is not going to end well any time soon for residents who are currently dealing with unrest taking place right outside their windows.

Sen. Tim Kaine’s Comments on the Origins of Slavery Epitomize the Historical Ignorance of the Left



Over the last few weeks, the historical ignorance of people on the progressive left has become impossible to ignore. People who took to the streets (allegedly) to protest against racism, to promote the idea that black lives matter, and against fascists toppled statues of famous abolitionists, of the president who signed the Emancipation Proclamation, and of the legendary British Prime Minister who literally defeated fascists.

When people in their 20’s display such a cringeworthy lack of education, we can blame it on the miserable state of education in America today – in both public and private schools. But when a long-serving legislator (as Lt. Governor, Governor, and then a United States Senator) either totally lies about or is ignorant of the origin of slavery in a speech on the Senate floor, well, it’s easier to see why the younger generation feels so comfortable in their ignorance.

While discussing law enforcement reforms Tuesday, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) said that we need to “dismantle the structures of racism that our federal, state, and local governments carefully erected and maintained over centuries.”



Then he went a bit further, entertaining the country with his historical “knowledge”:

We know a little bit about this in Virginia. The first African-Americans entering the English colonies came to Point Comfort, Virginia, in 1619. They were slaves. They’d been captured against their will. But they landed in colonies that didn’t have slavery. There were no laws about slavery in the colonies at that time.
The United States didn’t inherit slavery from anybody; we created it. It got created by the Virginia General Assembly and the legislatures of other states. It got created by the court systems in colonial America and they enforced fugitive slave laws.
We created it. And we created it and maintained it over centuries.

If he’d listened in history class, he’d know that’s not what happened.
Sen. Kaine, slavery was “literally” part of the first civilizations; the first “identifiable evidence of slavery comes from the Code of Hammurabi out of Mesopotamia.”

Kaine also must not have paid attention in church, since anyone who’s read the Old Testament knows that the Israelites were slaves in Egypt. Chattel slavery existed in Great Britain from before the Roman occupation until the Norman Conquest. And, contrary to what Kaine might think, slave traders in West Africa didn’t only send slaves to the United States.

Numerous other examples of slavery existing in areas outside the Colonies before 1619 could be listed, but it really isn’t necessary. Slavery was an abominable, inhumane practice, and it should have been abolished in this country long before it was. For Sen. Kaine to change that history for his America-hating political purposes – and to perpetuate historical illiteracy – is a violation of his oath as a United States Senator.

American fighter jets again intercepted two flights of Russian military aircraft near Alaska last night, U.S. and Russian military officials said.

“For the eighth time this year, Russian military aircraft have penetrated our Canadian or Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zones and each and every time NORAD forces were ready to meet this challenge,” said General Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, who leads NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

The Russian planes were Tu-95 "Bear" long range bombers.

“The Russian military aircraft came within 32 nautical miles of Alaskan shores; however, remained in international airspace and at no time did they enter United States sovereign airspace," the agency said.

NORAD, which monitors and protects U.S. and Canadian airspace, dispatched F-22 Raptors, along with KC-135 Stratotanker refueling craft and an E-3 Airborne Warning and Control system plane, the agency said.

“The first formation of Russian aircraft consisted of two Tu-95 bombers, accompanied by two Su-35 fighter jets and was supported by an A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft,” NORAD said. “The second formation consisted of two Tu-95 bombers supported by an A-50.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its Bears were “escorted” by the American Raptors while conducting a scheduled flight over international waters.

"At certain stages of the route, Russian aircraft were escorted by F-22 fighters of the USAF," the ministry wrote in a statement.

“All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are carried out in strict compliance with the International laws on the use of airspace,” the ministry wrote.

The ministry posted video of the encounter on Twitter.

The Russian MoD did not respond to an emailed request from Just the News, nor respond to a Tweet asking for details, and whether its aircraft identified themselves as required by international law.

Bail Fund Got Over $30 Million After Celebrities Promoted, Now People Demanding to Know What Happened to the Money



You may recall that celebrities raised a ton of money for a bail fund for the people arrested in the riots, the Minnesota Freedom Fund. Celebrities like Seth Rogan, Steve Carell, Jameela Jamil, and Pete Holmes all said they had donated to the fund and encourage others to do so too. 

According to reports, the group managed to raise over $30 million.

13 Biden campaign people also contributed to the fund to bail out people arrested. The campaign has yet to justify why they were donating to support people arrested during the riots.

But now, the Fund is coming under fire after it was reported that, with all that money, they haven’t spent much on bailing people out, by their own admission only about $200,000, not even 1% of the amount donated. Over 10,000 people were actually arrested during the riots. While probably most of those didn’t require mail and were just arrested and released, some certainly must have because there was everything from arson to assaults on police officers.

Here’s their excuse.
“We are no longer the same organization we were one week ago,” MFF wrote on its website on June 2. “One week ago we were a small bail fund struggling to get anyone to listen about the harms of cash bail and pre-trial detention. We are now flooded with resources and we are going to take a beat while we marshal those. We have some big plays in mind.”
But three days later, it announced donations “may be used to expand legal support for those arrested or incarcerated protesting the murder of George Floyd, and our core values and mission.”

Without jeopardizing the safety of the folks we bailed out we paid well over $200k in the weeks since the uprising alone. We are working on doing more.

People on both sides of the aisle raked them and the left was particularly disturbed, with some folks demanding the return of the money on social media or receipts as to what happened to the money.

The "Minnesota Freedom Fund" admits they’ve only used $200,000 of the $35 MILLION they collected to bail people out. They also used the word ya’ll in their statement because they think they can pander their way out of this fraud. This is what Democrats do when you give $$.

Some folks defended them saying they were a small organization that suddenly had to deal with a lot. 

Activist author Roxane Gay criticized the nature of their response, according to the Washington Examiner. 

“This is pretty pithy for an organization with $35 million, like you’re just talking to your little friends,” she said in a tweet she later deleted. “Get thee a crisis communication expert ASAP.”

USTR Lighthizer Plans to Outline Renewed Demand for International Tariff Reciprocity


U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer is testifying tomorrow at 10:00am to the House Ways and Means committee; later in the afternoon Ambassador Lighthizer will testify before the Senate Finance Committee.

The New York Times has received an advance copy of USTR Lighthizer’s opening statement, and the liberal publication is apoplectic the Trump administration plans to outline an even more aggressive stance toward the World Trade Organization (WTO).


According to the pearl-clutching Wall St. class, Lighthizer is going to inform congress of Trump/USTR plans to demand tariff reciprocity; and Lighthizer will indeed raise tariffs against any nation that continues to attempt one-sided benefit. [EU will go bananas]

One method to approach tariff inequality would be for the U.S. to lower the import value threshold for non-tariff exemptions. Currently the U.S. does not apply import duties to any product valued under $800. This is a great benefit to China, southeast Asia, and U.S. on-line retailers such as ebay and Amazon; however, the zero tariff threshold hurts U.S. manufacturers because China and other nations do not reciprocate.

It is anticipated that USTR Lighthizer will inform congress the U.S. will lower that import threshold to match the same value level applied by other nations. Obviously the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Wall Street multinationals will not like this approach.

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration plans to continue its aggressive trade tactics this year by pushing for a “broader reset” of the tariffs set by the World Trade Organization, a top trade official plans to tell Congress in testimony on Wednesday.
Robert E. Lighthizer, the U.S. trade representative, will tell the House Ways and Means Committee that the tariffs the organization sets for various countries are “outdated” and far above the levels charged by the United States, according to a copy of his prepared remarks.
The United States “must ensure that tariffs reflect current economic realities to protect our exporters and workers,” Mr. Lighthizer’s prepared testimony says.
The remarks suggest that American officials will continue their offensive this year on the World Trade Organization, the international body charged with writing and enforcing trade rules. (read more)

Following the four year pattern of opposition, we can well expect the majority of purchased politicians to stand against the Trump administration efforts.   That said, none of the doomsayer tariff predictions ever came true; and President Trump has the support of the majority with him against the United States Congress.

Beyond Expectations – Retail Sales Jump 17.7% in May as Economy Reopens – Largest Increase in History


Data released by the Commerce Dept [pdf here] shows U.S. shoppers increased spending by a record 17.7% from April to May. The jump in spending was double the amount most economists and forecasters were predicting.

Tucker Carlson Highlights Google’s Ideological Control and Congressional Inaction


In his opening monologue yesterday Fox host Tucker Carlson took on the subject of Google and their control over 70% of all on-line advertising revenue.   Within the very accurate segment, Carlson noted that Utah Senator Mike Lee is in charge of the antitrust subcommittee and yet does nothing, absolutely nothing, to stop the authoritarian demonetization and deplatforming action carried out through the monopoly Google holds.

No single issue will do more damage to the reelection efforts of President Trump than allowing Google to carry out their political agenda. However, that accepted, that’s also the motive for the Senate and DOJ to do nothing. This is a good, honest and painful segment:

DOJ Sues John Bolton Over Book Release


Earlier today the DOJ filed a civil action [see pdf here] against former National Security Advisor John Bolton for refusing to comply with the classified intelligence review prior to publishing a book.  [DOJ FILING LINK]  Perpetual warmonger John Bolton worked as NSA to President Trump from April 2018 to September 2019.

Bolton was always an odd pick for National Security Advisor given his propensity to advance mid-east wars and advocacy for military strikes against North Korea.

It is worth remembering during the impeachment effort John Bolton was holed-up in Qatar seemingly plotting his next moves.   Bolton is a deep state traveler of the highest order.  Qatar is the funding mechanism for many anti-Trump operations in the U.S.

The Qatari government has long been a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, and officials within Qatar held and influential friendship with former senator John McCain and his tribe of war advocates.

Qatar funds the Brookings Institute; which is the funder of Lawfare; which is the organization of ideological “beach friends” etc. etc.  All of these affiliated entities are connected by their desire to oppose President Trump.  There are trillions at stake.

A New ‘Whistle-Blower’ Is Set to Testify Against AG Barr and It’s a Total Joke



Aaron Zelinsky is back on the scene and he’s ready to serve as a “whistle-blower” against Attorney General Bill Barr.

If you aren’t familiar with Zelinksy, he was a top prosecutor for the Mueller investigation and was later implicated in the ridiculous sentencing recommendation against Roger Stone. He resigned in protest once Barr stepped into stop the overreach.

One of the top prosecutors on the special counsel’s team is set to testify as a whistleblower against Attorney General William Barr, the House Judiciary Committee announced on Tuesday.
Aaron Zelinsky will testify on June 24 regarding the Justice Department’s handling of the prosecution of Roger Stone, a longtime Trump confidante convicted on charges that he made false statements to Congress during its investigation of possible links between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Mueller’s investigation famously had Roger Stone arrested with CNN cameras present and guns drawn, because an old man without an active passport was obviously a flight risk or something. The entire thing was one of many abuses of the justice system perpetrated by Mueller and merry bad of partisans. In the end, Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Democrat appointee, agreed with Barr’s revised recommendation, sentencing Stone to a little over three years instead of the nine originally pushed by Zelinsky.

Zelinsky is a self-described Democrat who wrote dozens of articles for The Huffington Post, a far-left outlet. Like almost everyone on Mueller’s team, he was a supporter of Hillary Clinton and outspoken partisan. The idea that he and the rest of those around him were able to operate without bias when investigating matters from the Trump campaign to Roger Stone is laughable. The entire investigation was eaten up with partisan rancor, and the report they finally put out showed that clearly.

Of course, while Zelinsky is ready to “blow the whistle” on Bill Barr, it’s noteworthy that no one has come forward to blow the whistle on the FISA abuse which has now been documented. Instead, it took years of investigation, much by outside figures, to finally expose what happened. That should give you a good idea of how corrupt the FBI and DOJ are. Blatant abuses of power regarding the Trump campaign get covered up while Barr doing the right thing in the Stone case solicits “whistle-blowers.” It’s ludicrous but completely par for the course.

In the end, I suspect Zelinsky will have nothing to offer except more biased nonsense. Nothing Barr did was hidden, so what exactly is he even blowing the whistle on? The original recommendation against Stone, no matter what you think of him, was a travesty and never should have been made. That was confirmed with the Democrat appointed judge who had shown no mercy to Stone throughout the proceedings ended up agreeing with Barr.

But none of these facts matter because Congressional Democrats want to put on another show. Welcome to the absurdity that is 2020.

Last night on his show, Tucker Carlson mentioned a Rasmussen poll that showed 62% of Americans approve of Black Lives Matter.  Now, Tucker framed it as “the incredible popularity of Black Lives Matter.”  But it isn’t popularity that is behind these high favorability numbers.

It is fear.

Do you really believe that 62% of the American people genuinely approve of a group that is burning our cities, looting businesses and advocating to defund and abolish police departments?

That Rasmussen poll isn’t a reflection of popularity.  Instead, it shows just how terrified Americans are to go up against a radical organization that has successfully forced major corporations and institutions to their knees.

When you’ve been terrorized into thinking that even the most mildly negative comment about BLM might get you fired from your job or the victim of an online rage mob, would you tell a pollster you don’t approve of them?

Truth is, if President Trump really was the strongarm dictator who wants to use the military against American citizens as the Left portrays him, his polling numbers would be through the roof for the same reason.

Hell, I’d have high favorability if you were terrified that your life would be destroyed for not approving of me.

When every major institution – including Congress, the news media, Academia, Hollywood, and even the military — has been cowed into submission for fear of what might happen to them, that isn’t proof of BLM’s popularity.  It’s proof that their terror and intimidation tactics have been a ringing success.

And if all these institutions are afraid to defy them, imagine what it’s like for the average American citizen who just wants to live his life, earn a living and raise a family.
You think we don’t see how quickly a person’s life is destroyed for voicing anything short of groveling fealty to Black Lives Matter? At this rate, it’s happening on a near-daily basis.

Yesterday, CBS Sports writer Kyle Boone reported that the football coach for Oklahoma State University was photographed wearing a One America News T-shirt while on a family fishing trip.

Who gives a crap?  I certainly don’t.  But apparently the outrage mob does.

Fueled by this so-called reporter fanning the flames, there are now calls for this football coach to be fired for “promoting” OAN by wearing an OAN T-shirt, and I can’t stress this part enough, while on a family fishing trip.

The reason this sports writer is blowing this into the scandal of the century is because back in 2015 after a BLM activist shot and killed five law enforcement officers in Dallas, OAN anchor Liz Wheeler criticized Black Lives Matter. Oh, and something something OAN is Russian propaganda or something.

And that is reason enough to destroy a man’s career for wearing an OAN T-shirt on a family fishing trip.


Now, tell me.  In the present environment, if a pollster called you and asked if you approved or disapproved of Black Lives Matter, what are the odds you might lie just to spare yourself the nightmare that comes with being the next victim of the online mob fueled by this kind of ideological bigotry?

This poll doesn’t measure popularity.  It measures the very breadth and depth of the systemic intimidation and coercion by Black Lives Matter.

Using violence, intimidation, and threats in the pursuit of your political ends doesn’t make you a popular civil rights organization; it makes you terrorists.

And so long as every major institution both outside and inside the government refuses to fight back against this, we’re on our own.

Democrats Admit They Get All Their Ideas From The Babylon Bee



WASHINGTON, D.C.—At a press conference this morning, Democratic leaders were asked a question a lot of creatives are asked: "Where do you get your ideas?"

"Oh, yeah, Babylon Bee, totally," said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. "We check The Babylon Bee every morning and get some great ideas for what we're going to do next week."

One time, The Babylon Bee wrote an article where Ocasio-Cortez nearly strangled herself with her shoelaces. "I thought that one was really great -- it reminded me about bootstraps and shoelaces and how they contribute to a less equitable society. So I gave a fiery speech about it in Congress."

John Kerry read a Babylon Bee article about an AR-16 and immediately condemned the rifle, saying he was thankful to the news outlet for bringing it to his attention.

The Bernie Sanders campaign said they weren't sure how to sell their Green New Deal support to the nation, but then read a great article where The Babylon Bee said the deal would include energy-efficient gulags. So, campaign staffers quickly changed their tune and started talking about setting up gulags and rounding up Trump supporters and burning cities if Sanders won.

The Babylon Bee reported "Democrats Warn We Shouldn’t Reopen The Country Until We Can Be Safe From Trump Getting Credit For A Good Economy," and a short time later a former Obama staffer said he was really worried that strong economic data going into November would be really bad for them.

Many people thought The Babylon Bee had a crystal ball or were modern-day charismatic prophets, but it turns out there's a much simpler explanation: Democrats checking out the website every morning and stealing all our great ideas!

We promise to only use this newfound power and influence for good, maybe writing that Democrats have all promised to rocket themselves to Mars because the Earth is racist or something.

Back in 2012, a twenty-year-old named Kayleigh McEnany tweeted her love of Domino’s Pizza.  And Domino’s had the unmitigated gall to interact with her.

Here’s the offending exchange, again, from nearly eight years ago:


Oh, dear!  How awful!  This, well, this just cannot stand!

And because he has nothing constructive to contribute to our civic life, “Lincoln Project” co-founder Rick Wilson displayed some of those principles Lincoln was famous for by sending a rage mob after Domino’s Pizza for not knowing that the young woman they were thanking would eight years later become President Trump’s press secretary.

I wish I was joking.  But I’m not.


“Just” killed your brand … over an eight-year-old tweet. What a dick.

You understand why I said ideological bigotry, not racism, is what’s systemic in this country? Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson believes Domino’s Pizza should be killed because a future press secretary who does not align with the Left’s ideology likes their pizza, and said so in 2012. That’s ideological bigotry in action.

And, it screams the Principles of Lincoln, doesn’t it?

Yup.  If there is one think good old Abe Lincoln stood for, it was unleashing an unhinged mob of Trump-deranged fanatics on Domino’s Pizza for an eight-year-old tweet.

You know, I bet Kayleigh McEnany eats other things too. In fact, I bet she was eating food back in 2012. Maybe all these lunatics Rick Wilson is desperate to please should just stop eating entirely. You know, just to have their bases covered.

That’s what Lincoln would do!

The Lincoln Project wants to defeat President Trump because, unlike them, Trump is super divisive and he sends mean tweets.  And how are they going to defeat him?  By attacking Domino’s Pizza for a tweet from 2012 thanking someone for liking their pizza!

I wonder if Lincoln can sue these guys for crapping all over his name.
Speaking of killing a brand: When your founding members are hate-filled shit-posters who gin up the outrage mob over an innocuous 8-year-old tweet, your brand isn’t being killed, your brand was dead on arrival.

Now, I don’t know if Rick Wilson is just the dumbest, most bitter man to ever walk the earth, or if it’s that he’s just so hungry for love from people who hate Lincoln as much as they hate Trump.  Whatever the case, if you consider yourself a Republican and you’re donating to his misnamed Lincoln Project, maybe you should slap yourself silly and get a friggin’ clue.
