As RedState previously reported, President Donald Trump was at a packed rally in South Carolina on Friday at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center to stump for Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) and her election campaign ahead of the August 25 primary runoff in the Palmetto State.
He spoke about the importance of holding both chambers of Congress, called out the radical nature of the Left, and warned about what could happen if the Democrats got back into power. He warned that would mean open borders, increased taxes, and more impeachment hearings against him.
“If we lose, you’re going to lose your border, you’re going to lose your tax cuts, you’re gonna lose everything that we’ve done" Trump stated during the rally. "They're going to impeach me, they have no idea why.”
However, during the course of the event, a protester tried to interrupt Trump's remarks and had to be escorted out by the police and the convention center staff, according to the White House pool report.
But the president briefly stopped his remarks and verbally decimated the heckler as the person was being escorted out with one heck of a classic line.
"That's all right. That person's going home to mom. Gonna get scolded because mom is voting for us. You know, mom is voting for us," Trump laughed, before returning to his speech. "Mom is voting."
You can see the people behind him really enjoyed that.
White House correspondent for News Nation Kellie Meyer posted this clip of two people being escorted out. One of the people was holding an American flag sign upside down. The crowd gave them a proper send-off.
