Man, it’s been fun watching old-school Democrats freak out as they watch their party get taken over by extremist democratic socialists. New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (14) was perhaps the biggest early warning shot, as the DSA member managed to upset longtime incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in the 2018 Dem primary for her seat.
Now we’ve got the far-left Zohran Mamdani as NYC Mayor, America-hating Darializa Avila Chevalier sending five-term incumbent New York Rep. Adriano Espaillat packing in their primary, along with other concerning wins, especially in the Empire State.
As Joe Cunningham wrote, Democrats like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) are now facing problems they helped create themselves "brick by leftist brick" by doubling down on radicalism at every turn.
The next generation listened — and now they’re taking things way past what old-schoolers intended. They’ve let the genie out of the bottle, and now they’re paying the price.
Schumer found on Sunday just how far his flock has wandered, as what would normally be a friendly crowd toward the senator mercilessly booed him at a Pride parade. You’ve lost your fans, Chuck:
It doesn't sound like it was a fun day for the senator who has been in office for 27 years:
...the longtime New York political animal’s goodwill was mercilessly drowned out by a chorus of boos.
Chuck haters could be seen in the crowd giving the senator two thumbs down and frowning as he walked by, too.
The hissing and jeering went on for nearly 20 seconds in at least one spot.
The booing continued even as Schumer attempted to establish his long record supporting gay rights.
“So I was the first senator to ever march in this parade, 1999. And I haven’t missed one yet!” the senator said to an uncaring crowd before continuing the parade path.
Meanwhile, he’s not the only Democrat who pushes toxic woke values down our throats who found out in recent days that they themselves are no longer woke enough. In California, gender-obsessed state Sen. Scott Wiener (11), who is running for retiring Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s House seat, was confronted Friday by a “rabid mob short of hanging him from a tree,” as Brandon Morse wrote, for not agreeing a hundred percent with them about Gaza.
Here is one of the most prominent and controversial LGBT+everything advocates in the country, and he’s getting harassed at a transgender rally. Incredible.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden, the formerly woke warrior who thought top appointments should be doled out based on skin color and gender, was brutally interrupted as he tried to stumble through a speech on Saturday.

This is the leftist world they help create. By constantly pushing the woke envelope and having nothing much else to offer other than virulent anti-Trump hatred, they’re losing even their own base. It’s funny in a way, because folks like Schumer, Biden, and Wiener have focused on radical policies (see: open borders), but have not done much to improve the lives of everyday Americans.
On the other hand, it’s downright scary because these Marxists DSAers are now regularly winning elections. It’s too late to yell, “The socialists are coming, the socialists are coming!”
