As Spirit Airlines prepares to permanently close its doors, it's time to take a look at some alternative means of travel.
Here are a few better options to consider if your scheduled trip with Spirit has been canceled:
Fire yourself out of a cannon: You might not be alive when you get to your destination, but that's about the same as a Spirit flight.
Ride a hoverboard like in Back to the Future Part II: That took place in the movie in 2015, so those are readily available everywhere.
Bum a ride off Tiger Woods: This option offers free drink service.
Cram into a cardboard box and ship yourself via UPS: A convenient and speedy option.
Have a Wookiee carry you around in his backpack: With or without having your arms and legs blown off. It's up to you.
Tie a bunch of balloons to your house: Up, up, and away.
One of those e-bike things the kids are riding these days: There's only a slight chance of a fiery explosion — just like Spirit Airlines.
Walk up to an ICE agent and tell them you're in the country illegally: You'll receive a free trip to an exciting and exotic location.
