It's Easter weekend, and most people are with their families.
But I guess for some folks on the Left, they couldn't even leave their obsession with President Donald Trump for even a moment.
Trump called a lid at 11:08 AM on Saturday and didn't go to Mar-a-Lago. He had "executive time" on his schedule. Given all the things going on, it's likely related to the Iran conflict.
That immediately got the rumor going that something must be wrong, which then managed to morph into, "He's at Walter Reed Hospital."
Someone even spread a video, suggesting it showed emergency vehicles, but it was an old video of Trump being released from the hospital after being shot in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Yeah, I know. They had no facts or anything to support it. But that's how folks on the left operate - they don't live in reality. How many times did Joe Biden call an early lid or have nothing on his schedule, and they didn't give a darn? He spent a good part of his White House occupation on vacation.
Of course, there were several problems with their story about Trump.
D.C. photographer Andrew Leyden, who frequently covers the White House, noted there were no indications that he was at Walter Reed.
Then the legacy media dunked all over the Left's dreams. ABC News White House correspondent Selina Wang explained that the Marine was stationed at the door of the West Wing to the White House, indicating Trump was there.
Assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung also scotched the rumors, noting he was working even though it was a holiday.
There has never been a President who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump. On this Easter weekend, he has been working nonstop in the White House and Oval Office.
God Bless him.
The White House Rapid Response account on X let one of the people spreading the rumor have it.
But then, Trump even posted on Truth Social, and it seemed clear what he had been working on. He posted how they'd just taken out with this "massive strike," some important Iranian military leaders, who "led them poorly and unwisely."
He had promised that there would be "hell" if they didn't make a deal or open up the Strait within 48 hours.
Looks like he already got a good start on that.
