Barron Trump, the president’s very tall son, doesn’t spend a lot of time in the limelight, but it’s shining on him Wednesday as court testimony in London revealed that he helped a woman in desperate need and may have even saved her life by calling authorities on an abusive boyfriend who was beating her up.
He reportedly was on a FaceTime call with the unnamed woman when he heard clear sounds that she was being attacked. He didn’t call 911, because the woman was in England — so he figured out a way to contact their emergency number, 999.
It all happened on January 18, 2025, just days before his father’s presidential inauguration, but it’s in the news now because of the court proceeding. The creep was jealous of Barron:
Barron Trump spoke directly with a 999 operator when he heard what he thought was Russian national Matvei Rumiantsev repeatedly punching his friend in a flat.
Rumiantsev, 22, was jealous of the American's relationship with the woman and flew into a rage when he tried to phone her earlier that evening, prosecutors said.
He then answered a video call from the President's son on the woman's phone, showed Barron her face then grabbed her hair and pushed her to the floor, shouting 'you are not worth anything,' Snaresbrook Crown Court, in north-east London, was told.
Rumiantsev then kicked her while she was on the ground and screamed vile names at her. Hopefully, the British judicial system will have something extremely harsh to say about that.
He didn’t just sit there… he figured out how to contact British authorities immediately and reported the beating.
The victim literally credits Barron with saving her life. For the haters: Jurors heard the recording of the call in court. It is 100% REAL.
“She called me,” Barron told the police. “I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something. I just saw the ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit.”
The grateful friend said that if it wasn’t for Barron’s quick thinking, things could have turned out very differently (and much more tragically):
Giving evidence, the woman said: 'He [Barron Trump] helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.'
Rumiantsev has been charged with raping the woman on two occasions, assault, actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
The 19-year-old Barron faced a tough situation — but showed cool under fire. Nice work, young man.
