Bad Night for Antifa in Portland As Feds Move In

RedState

As RedState reported, President Donald Trump announced Saturday morning that he had authorized sending troops to Portland, Oregon, in response to ongoing anti-ICE violence in the notoriously far-left, poorly-led blue city, some of which is being orchestrated by the leftist Antifa rioters that Democrats keep claiming don't exist.

"I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists,” Trump said on Truth Social, noting he was authorizing them to use "full force" if necessary.

In response, Antifa has reportedly planned a "direct action" event at the Portland ICE facility, set to take place sometime Sunday afternoon.

Antifa Responds to Trump Order on Portland Troop Deployment, and Things Could Get Really Ugly

While that situation has yet to play out, and while it's also unclear when troops will actually be sent in, a federal presence was already visible Friday night ahead of Trump's official announcement:

Sure enough, as the Antifa thuggery got underway Saturday night, they were met not just with a response via air:

But also on the ground:

Daviscourt, an investigative reporter for The Post Millennial, also wrote that "It’s mass chaos tonight outside the ICE facility. Agitators appear to be furious about military deployment."

It is, of course, only going to get worse for Antifa and their allies the longer they keep this up, as Trump has made it crystal clear that the days of feckless "leadership" from Democrats amid the routine takeovers of city streets from these far-left thugs in blue cities are over.
