Number killed rises to ten
The number of people killed in the shooting has risen to ten, according to reports.
The suspect is also dead, mayor Elke Kahr told Austrian news agency APA.
Earlier, the mayor said nine students and one adult had been killed.
Suspect was 22-year-old former student - report
Austrian police have confirmed the perpetrator of the shooting is dead but have not yet revealed his identity.
"Some local media are now reporting that the person responsible for the shooting is a 22-year-old former student," Europe correspondent Siobhan Robbins says.
"They report the person entered the school with two weapons, which is still to be confirmed by the authorities."
Kronen
Zeitung, Austria's biggest newspaper, reported earlier that shots were
fired in two classrooms and the gunman was found dead in one of the
toilets.
