Lochel's Bakery in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, had some big news in their big cookie poll as of Friday morning.
Every four years, they hold a poll where people can buy red cookies or blue cookies--with the candidates' names on them and the election year--to indicate their choice for president. And the current count in the poll, based on how many have been bought for each candidate, is not looking good for Kamala Harris.
As of Friday morning, the shop has sold a whopping 5,200 Trump cookies vs. 500 Harris cookies.
“I think that people support Trump all over,” owner Kathleen Lochel told “Fox & Friends First” Friday morning.
That's more than 10 times as much:
Lochel said her customers are expressing how high costs under the Biden-Harris administration are impacting them.
“A lot of people are upset right now with the cost of things, they’re venting to us,” she said, adding that the bakery stays neutral to all and loves all of their customers regardless of political opinions.
Grocery costs have also put a strain on the shop’s operations.
“Prices are very high for us,” Lochel said. “We have not raised our prices in three years on almost all items. We’re trying to maintain the prices and have consumer confidence. But we’re getting to the point right now where my husband says this can’t continue. Things are just way too high.”
“The Trump name actually brings in a lot of business for many people,” she said. She said the cookie polls helped save the bakery during the pandemic. She said Eric Trump coming in to buy cookies also helped.
While about one-third have now been bought by folks from out of state in the present poll, Lochel said that the rest were purchased in-state. Lochel said virtually all of those shipments within Pennsylvania are red, and that there were only seven that were blue in the state.
That's a pretty big indication of where people are going. Add the customers' comments to that, and it really drives it home. People are not happy with the Biden and Harris mess, and they're not looking to vote back in the same leftist policies.
Lochel's correctly determined three of the four elections since 2012, The only one that didn't turn out was in 2020. Then they ultimately sold 31,804 Trump cookies vs. 5,750 Biden cookies before the election. That was six times as many, but they're ahead of that pace so far this time.
That's probably more accurate than a lot of regular polls.
Harris and Tim Walz show more and more how unfit they are.
They're trying to pretend that Kamala isn't the vice president of the incumbent occupying office now. But it looks like even the cookies have their number.
