More than 300 times in one day after Dem messaging takes hold: report
Legacy media outlets CNN and MSNBC have called those on the Trump-Vance presidential ticket "weird" over 160 times per outlet in a single day. The new messaging from Democrats and liberal pundits appears to be the latest common talking point as Vice President Kamala Harris is running against them instead of Biden.
According to an analysis done by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the two left-wing outlets on Monday alone this week referenced to either Trump or Vance as being "weird" a combined total of over 300 times. Democratic Gov. Tim Waltz of Minnesota has been credited with starting the label as a talking point when he was on Morning Joe.

Since Vance has been chosen as Trump's VP pick, old clips of him in interviews have surfaced that Democrats have focused in on. In one instance, he said that a lot of people who ran the country were "childless cat ladies" who were “miserable at their own lives." Democrats have pounced on the video and have been calling the Trump-Vance ticket "weird "as a result.
MSNBC used the word 179 times, the Caller reported, in relation to Trump or Vance in different segments and in the clips that they showed. Former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki used the word herself in relation to Trump or Vance during "Inside with Jen Psaki." The hosts on "Morning Joe" used the word 32 times when talking about Trump or Vance.
MSNBC host John Lemire said “You know, I think that my colleagues are pointing out the obvious. That the agenda, the way they talk to people, the way they address people, it is bizarre. It’s weird. It is weird.”
CNN was not far behind the 179 mark and used the term 170 times during its Monday segments, per the Caller. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) commented on CNN, “I don’t think Kamala Harris is going to pick anyone as weird and creepy as JD Vance."
