If the following report is true, Joe Biden and the United Nations are pulling off one of the worst security threats to the United States in its 248-year history. If so, they're likely doing it with a wink and a nod.
According to the former director of Panama’s National Border Service, the U.N.'s migration agenda is behind the insanity along the southern border, and the world body's NGO (non-governmental organizations) partners are intentionally making the crisis worse.
Oriel Ortega, now a security and defense consultant to Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo, told the Epoch Times during an interview on Thursday that he saw a dramatic jump in immigration in 2016, at the same time that NGOs moved into Panama.
Here's more (emphasis, mine):
That increase corresponded with the UN’s Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration meeting in 2016. Two years later, 152 nations—including Panama—voted in favor of the compact to manage global migration. The United States voted against it.
But under the UN, the migration process has been anything but orderly, Mr. Ortega said. “It’s completely opposite right now,” he said through an interpreter.
Documents show that in 2023, a record 500,000 migrants traveled through the dense jungle known as the Darien Gap from Colombia into Panama. Migrants from around the world are flying into South and Central America to start their journey because countries such as Suriname and Ecuador don’t require a visa to enter. Their final destination is the United States.
Does anyone need reminding that Barack Obama was president of the United States in 2016?
Joseph Humire, the executive director of the Center for a Secure Free Society and an expert on unconventional warfare, told the Epoch Times: “This isn’t a conspiracy theory,” adding that the “invasion” at the U.S. southern border is “strategically engineered migration.”
Ortega agreed that NGOs have “exacerbated” mass migration problems.
Instead of helping, they’re being part of the problem. It’s not the migrants themselves that are creating a national threat; it is the organized crime, and it is these international organizations.
I have zero doubt that both Ortega and Humire are right.
And as I suggested at the top, what these guys are claiming plays directly into Joe Biden's hand — delivering as many illegal aliens to the Mexico-U.S. border as the worst president in the history of the United States can eagerly import. Call it "a wink and a nod," or "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours," but as I see the whole thing, it's at least an implied agreement between the United Nations and Joe Biden.
Or, we could simply call it treason — committed by the president of the United States.
While the U.N. has aided migrants for decades, the scope of its operation has dramatically expanded, with the number of illegal aliens surging into America virtually setting new records every month.
Moreover, nearly $1.3 billion of U.S. taxpayer money was handed to the U.N. and other agencies assisting migrants in 2023, according to a government spending database.
Joe Biden's America...
