The headline is chilling enough. Add in the rest of the story and it's easy to see why President Joe Biden is a clear and present danger to the security of the United States and has been such since his first day in office — intentionally so, as revealed by a new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report.
As the CBO reported, Biden — eagerly assisted by Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas and Secretary of State Antony Blinken — has summarily allowed at least 6.2 million illegal aliens to walk into the country, with virtually no questions asked.
Moreover, the report, titled “The Demographic Outlook: 2014 to 2054,” says the Biden Border Crisis has only gotten worse.
More of those people are also being released into the United States than previously, generally through the use of parole authority or with a notice to appear before an immigration judge.
Au contraire, insists the serial-lying president.
As I reported on Saturday, Biden not only insists he wants to fix the "broken system" — he bizarrely accuses Republicans of "weaponizing" his intentional border crisis to "score political points."
That takes cojones, Joe.
Look, is there any doubt that this guy's mental capacity is continuing to slip? No, there isn't. I mean, given the last three years of his open-border policy, a reasonably coherent Biden wouldn't insult the intelligence of a majority of the country with a ridiculous claim like that.
Concerning the CBO report, here's more:
The 2023 inflow includes 900,000 migrants who were released after they walked up to official border gates plus 1.1 million migrants who were released after they crossed through gaps in the border wall, said the CBO agency, which acts as an advisor to Capitol Hill legislators.
Roughly half of those migrants — 1.1 million — were let into the country by October 1, 2023, via Biden’s use of the “parole” loophole in border law, the CBO reported. Biden and his Democratic allies are now trying to expand the parole doorway.
The 2023 inflow also included 860,000 “gotaways” who sneaked past Biden’s half-built and lightly guarded border wall and 430,000 people who remained in the United States long after their visas had expired.
The figure is close to the partial data released by the Department of Homeland Security in early January.
The CBO data does not include hundreds of thousands of migrants released since October 1, 2023.
The report also noted:
CBO estimates that, on net, the number of people immigrating to the United States was 1.2 million in 2021 and 2.7 million in 2022.
So let's do the math: 1.2 million, 2.7 million, and 3.3 million — up to October 2023 — add up to 6.2 million illegal aliens encountered and summarily released in just three years.
Now add in gotaways — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources have confirmed over 1.7 million known gotaways at the Southwest border — the number of which is unknowable, and estimates of the total number of illegal aliens released into the country by Team Biden reach 9 million or more.
Yeah, despite his protestations to the contrary, Joe did that. On purpose.
