'Amateur Hour': Tell-All Reveals Just How Bad Kamala Has Been As VP; Jill Can't Stand Her

Bob Hoge reporting for RedState

Tomorrow might be a good day to put on some slippers, light the fireplace and pull up a chair, because the book “Amateur Hour: Kamala Harris in the White House” is scheduled for release Tuesday -- and it looks juicy.

According to the publisher, Simon & Schuster, the tome will reveal just how bad Kamala Harris has been at her job as vice president of the United States.

Who is the real Kamala Harris? And how did she ascend to the second highest office in the country? Despite her limited experience in national politics and confusing professional history, there hasn’t been a comprehensive examination of Vice President Kamala Harris’s journey to the White House...until now. Find out how the San Francisco socialite turned politico fast-tracked her way onto the national stage, only to lose the faith of her base and her president.

Simon & Schuster further promises that author Charlie Spiering -- who has worked at the Washington Post, Washington Examiner, and now Breitbart -- will deliver "the first-ever deep dive into Kamala Harris’s hilarious, incompetent, radical path to the vice presidency." Time to make the popcorn.

Snippets are already leaking out.

The book reportedly dives into Jill and Joe Biden's fraught relationship with the VP and how he's running again in '24 for president only because he doesn't think Kamala is ready for prime time:

As Kamala Harris hits the 2024 presidential campaign trail in hopes of securing a second term alongside Joe Biden, a new tell-all lifts the lid on the pair's now frosty relationship and how the president and First Lady Jill can't stand nor trust the VP, four years after their historic victory. [Emphasis mine.]

Contending that America's historic first black female second in command is just 'a brain stroke away from the presidency,' he claims the 'real reason' Biden decided to run for a second term is because 'Kamala is not up to the job,' and the Bidens don't want to see her replace him.

But it gets worse for Harris, as according to Spiering's reporting, Biden never even wanted her in the first place:

Biden's actual first choice for his running mate in 2020, was Gretchen Whitmer, 52, the then-recently elected governor of Michigan, while the first lady 'fought against choosing Harris in favor of Susan Rice,' a top Barack Obama confidante and national security adviser in his administration, according to the book.

Biden couldn't choose Whitmer in the end because he boxed himself in by playing identity politics and promising to only pick a black woman for the spot.

Spiering alleges that none other than former President Barack Obama pushed the Kamala Harris choice on Biden, even though Harris had basically called him a racist on live TV during a 2019 primary debate. Who can forget that moment?

When someone starts a sentence with, "I do not believe you are a racist," you know they think you most certainly are.

Jill's response to Biden's choice, according to the tell-all: "Go f*** yourself."

Even if Jill could let bygones be bygones -- which she can't, apparently -- there's no way the Bidens can ignore what a terrible choice Kamala has turned out to be:

The author writes that Kamala's 'many struggles and mistakes' have been 'top of mind' in the White House, including her noted 'thin skinned outrage, perceived grievances around every corner, the staff bullying and endless turnover' – describing the VP's office like a subway turnstile with unhappy staffers making constant exoduses – 'the mockery, and the refusal to be a team player.'

Kamala's approval ratings are even lower than Joe's -- and that's saying something. Hopefully she will be an even further drag on an already struggling ticket, and Americans will send them both back home come election day.

In the meantime, I just may be reading by the fireplace Tuesday.
