Explosive Documents Show DOJ Official Prohibited Agents From Mentioning Joe Biden In Warrant

Documents just released by the House Ways and Means Committee reveal that Delaware Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf demanded investigators remove any references to Joe Biden from a search warrant related to a Hunter Biden Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) probe.

In an August 2020 email to investigators, including IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler, Wolf stated that a section of a drafted warrant (that has not been publicly released) needed to be redone because it included the elder Biden.

“I am not sure what this is cut and pasted from but other than the attribution, location and identity stuff at the end, none [of] it is appropriate and within the scope of this warrant,” Wolf wrote. “Please focus on FARA evidence only. There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here.” A separate document reveals that “Political Figure 1” is none other than Joe Biden.

“The Biden Administration — including top officials at the Justice Department — lied to the American public and engaged in a cover-up that interfered with federal investigators and protected the Biden family, including President Biden himself,” stated the Ways and Means Committee Wednesday.

The email is more evidence supporting IRS whistleblower testimonies alleging that the Department of Justice thwarted the IRS’s investigation into Hunter Biden in order to protect Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

This June, IRS whistleblower testimonies revealed that Wolf told investigators in December 2020 not to make any reference to “the big guy” during key interviews related to the probe into Hunter’s alleged tax crimes (the FBI ultimately thwarted the interviews). Wolf reportedly told the investigators that “the big guy” should be left out because there was “no specific criminality to that line of questioning.”

This reasoning is quite puzzling given that Wolf was briefed two months before — in October 2020 — on the contents of the FD-1023. The FD-1023 is the now-famous FBI document containing allegations of a confidential human source’s claim that Burisma paid Joe and Hunter $5 million each in exchange for influence over U.S. foreign policy. Just as bizarre are reports that neither Wolf nor anyone else in the DOJ briefed the investigators on the contents of the FD-1023.

The only explanation for why Wolf would not inform investigators about what she learned from the FD-1023 and why she would then demand said investigators refrain from mentioning “the big guy” in interviews is that Wolf was actively protecting Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

This August, Wolf’s boss, Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, was named as a special counsel to continue the investigation into Hunter Biden. Weiss was responsible for Hunter Biden’s original sweetheart plea deal, and evidence shows that, like Wolf, he also impeded the IRS’s investigation.

“The growing body of evidence further calls into question the Justice Department’s attempted sweetheart plea deal for Hunter Biden, and the reasons for appointing the architect of that plea deal as the special counsel for Hunter Biden’s case, in light of officials’ efforts to protect President Biden and his son,” the Ways and Means Committee wrote in a statement Wednesday.
