Things Just Got Worse for Biden: Email Reveals Devon Archer Met With John Kerry Just Before Shokin Firing

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

We've written a lot about Joe Biden's involvement in the "Biden family business" including emails, phone calls, meetings, and dinners.

However, one of the other things that's important to note is the involvement of Hunter's business partners, including those at Burisma, with Joe Biden and/or other people in the Obama/Biden administration.

Now there's another email that is getting attention about Devon Archer even meeting with then-Secretary of State John Kerry.

"Devon Archer coming to see S today at 3:00pm - need someone to meet/greet him at C Street," reads the redacted email on March 2, 2016, which was previously released via the Freedom of Information Act.

Fox News Digital can confirm that "S" refers to Kerry, based on multiple other email communications. However, it is unclear what Archer and Kerry discussed at the meeting or whether Burisma came up in conversation.

The email doesn't say what they talked about and that sounds like a great thing for the House Republicans to delve into and call Archer back to ask about.

Shortly after that, the Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was fired on March 29, 2016, after Joe Biden had previously threatened to withhold aid if he wasn't fired.

As we've reported before, Burisma had been trying to work with the State Department to do something about the investigations into Burisma and Mykola Zlochevsky, and they'd been reaching out to then-deputy Secretary of State (now Biden's Secretary of State) Antony Blinken. So it's not even just the contacts and connections with Joe Biden that this buying of the Biden brand was earning them, it was the other D.C. connections that they might be able to prevail upon to help their cause.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA)  had tried to get information on this meeting in the past as well as on a meeting that Hunter Biden had with Blinken in 2015

In May 2015, Hunter and then-Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken were exchanging emails about setting up a meeting at the State Department. After the first scheduled meeting, which appeared to have been canceled due to the death of Hunter's brother, Beau, the pair rescheduled and met in July 2015.

But now, the House, with subpoena power and a cooperative Devon Archer, might be able to get more answers as to both of those meetings.

As we reportedShokin gave an interview to Fox where he revealed that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said Joe Biden was behind his firing, and that he was investigating Burisma and Mykola Zlochevsky contrary to the narrative that the Biden team and the Democrats have been pushing. He's said that before in a 2020 interview that we reported on. The liberal media has largely ignored what he had to say, but the latest video has made it harder to ignore.

So now what's the explanation for this meeting with Kerry going to be, especially after the lobbying of the State Department? Just a random discussion about the weather? Or are they just going to try to ignore information requests as long as they can? It's getting a lot tougher to do that as the walls keep closing in.
