I reported the other day on some important memos that Just the News had obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. The memos show that Joe Biden's actions in threatening to withhold aid to get the Ukrainian prosecutor fired not only weren't in accordance with the U.S. position at the time, but defied the U.S. recommendation that the aid be given. So the narrative that we've been fed for years by the Biden team just got blown up, big time.
One tip-off that they must be nervous about this was when Special Assistant to the President and spokesperson for the White House Counsel's Office Ian Sams took to X to attack the Republicans and the Just the News' John Solomon for daring to report on the facts.
"How far down the conspiracy hole are House Republicans?" Sams ranted. He claimed House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer was "teaming up" with John Solomon, "whose disinformation was so bad that even Fox News warned against it and ended up firing him." "There’s no low they won’t stoop to to push falsehoods about POTUS," Sams claimed.
Pointing to the memos that Solomon brought forth in his story isn't "teaming up" with him. But trying to attack Comer and Solomon doesn't change the reality of the memos and what they say. But it says something about the Biden team when reality is a "conspiracy" to them.
Sams also doesn't seem to realize that he's highlighting and drawing attention to the new memos for Democrats and other people who might not otherwise have known about them. Not exactly a smart move.
But Solomon wasn't taking it lying down, and just dropped him with a great response: "Hey Ian, let’s do a debate," Solomon dared him.
"You bring your documents showing Joe Biden’s family didn’t get money from China, confirming he didn’t engage in conversations with Hunter’s partners and proving the laptop was Russian disinformation. I’ll bring my documents from the FBI, State Department and DOJ showing you and your boss have been lying."
Now, that's bringing it. But he wasn't quite done yet.
"If you could bring those records from the president’s arrest in South Africa visiting Mandela I’d be glad to be schooled on that too," Solomon quipped, completely finishing Sams off, highlighting Joe Biden's known habit of not telling the truth and making up all kinds of stories. It's really not the fight to take on against anyone else when your guy is such a malarkey-spreader.
Chances that Sams accepts the challenge to debate Solomon? Probably somewhere between slim and none.
