Another Problematic Move by DOJ in Hunter Biden Case: The Witness They Didn't Put Before Grand Jury

Another Problematic Move by DOJ in Hunter Biden Case: The Witness They Didn't Put Before Grand Jury

One of the things that has been most concerning about the revelations from the IRS whistleblowers is the Department of Justice’s failure to pursue the various leads and questions the investigators had developed. At every turn, the whistleblowers said how their investigations into Hunter Biden’s dealings were stymied by the folks at the DOJ whenever things seemed to get close to Joe Biden or members of the Biden family.

One thing they weren’t allowed to pursue, according to one of the whistleblowers, IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley, was to ask witnesses like Rob Walker, a Hunter Biden associate, about the “big guy” or “Dad.”

Among other things, we wanted to question Walker about an email that said: “Ten held by H for the big guy.” We had obvious questions like who was H, who the big guy was, and why this percentage was to be held separately with the association hidden.

But AUSA Wolf interjected and said she did not want to ask about the big guy and stated she did not want to ask questions about “dad.” When multiple people in the room spoke up and objected that we had to ask, she responded, there’s no specific criminality to that line of questioning.

Shapley said everyone in the room except the DOJ was upset they couldn’t ask about things related to Joe Biden.

But on top of that, there was a golden witness, ready to tell the grand jury all about the “big guy” and that email: Tony Bobulinski. Bobulinski has been trying to get anyone he could to hear him since he came out with this information before the election in October 2020. But the DOJ wasn’t interested in putting him before the grand jury.

The source told Fox News that Bobulinski’s lawyers “reached out” to U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, and said Bobulinski “was available.” The source told Fox News Digital that Bobulinski and his lawyers “never heard back from them.”

The source said the lawyers were baffled by the fact that prosecutors never sought Bobulinski’s testimony.

Bobulinski would have been able to provide information about Hunter Biden’s business dealings — specifically related to the joint-venture with CEFC, and whether President Biden, himself, was involved.

CBS also had multiple sources that confirmed the Fox report.

Why would you not call the chief guy who could tell you all about who the big guy was? Unless you didn’t want to know? Here’s what he said in October 2020, as we reported back then.

CBS said they contacted Bobulinski, and he said he stands by what he has said previously — that Joe Biden’s claims that he didn’t discuss business with Hunter were false and that he had firsthand knowledge because he dealt with the Bidens, including Joe.

Bobulinski had the goods with messages and emails on the deal that had to do with the company they were trying to set up, Sinohawk, with Bobulinski as the CEO. The messages indicate he met with Joe Biden.

“Mrng plse let me knw if we will do early dinner w your Uncle & dad and where, also for document translation do you want it simple Chinese or traditional?” Bobulinski texted Hunter Biden on May 2, 2017.

Hunter replied: “Dad not in now until 11- let’s me I and Jim meet at 10 at Beverly Hilton where he’s staying.”

Later, Bobulinski sent a text to Jim Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, on the same day, May 2, 2017, saying: “Great to meet u and spend some time together, please thank Joe for his time, was great to talk thx Tony b.”

The following day, May 3, 2017, Bobulinski sent another text to Jim Biden, saying: “Morning, please let me know all set for things this mrng. I don’t have credentials to get into Milken so just want to make sure not an issue to get me in, where should we meet this mrng?”

“Milken” was in reference to the 2017 Global Conference, which, in part, was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, according to the program directory.

Joe Biden, on May 3, 2017, spoke at the conference, hosting “A Conversation with the 47th Vice President of the United States Joe Biden.”

That meeting was 11 days before the email Shapley was referencing about the distribution of who got what and the 10 percent for the “big guy.” Bobulinski has said repeatedly that the “big guy” was Joe Biden.

So this raises the question as to not only why the DOJ didn’t want the IRS agents to ask about Joe Biden or other Bidens and why they refused to put him before the grand jury when he has such bombshell evidence on Joe Biden.

The White House is now claiming that Biden was “never in business” with his son, which is a moving of the goalposts from what he’s said repeatedly in the past that Joe never discussed business with his son. Now, with so much evidence showing he did, in fact, discuss/meet with Hunter’s business associates, they’re trying to backpedal. But Bobulinski’s claims would indicate that even that backpedaling isn’t quite true, albeit perhaps a “cloaked” participation.

As we reported earlier, multiple House Committees are coming together to ask for the transcribed interviews of many of the government officials involved in this case, including Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf, whose name kept coming up when it came to quashing the investigative efforts, and David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney in charge of the case.

That should spice things up considerably. I’m curious as to how people like Wolf are going to justify themselves or if they might give up other people.
